This was actually my third visit to Wanchai. Not knowing what're the best restaurants there, I had to ask for passer-by about directions to QRE Plaza. After a while, I reached Hopewell Center, which seemed likely to be the right way to my destination. Then, we looked at the billboard, searching for the so-called oyster bar. When we arrived at the restaurant, we had to wait for a couple minutes. Okie dokie, we had a seat at the upper floor. However, knowing that the lower one offered a much wider choice, we made our decision to choose there. Just paying for $10 more, we each ordered a salad bar as our appetizer. The salad bar was better than others and comparable to the one in Cova Harbour City. From fresh seafood to Italian parma ham, from different veggies to different kinds of bread, we were fascinated by those varieties. So in the first round, I took an egg salad, parma ham, sesame bread, some veggies (romaine lettuce) and salmon as well. Then, it came my vegetable soup. Mmmm... delicious yet a bit out of my expectation, I thought the soup should be much better at first. Alright, let me enjoy my main course- grilled sole fillet with roasted veggies. The fish tasted medium but the lettuce plus potato were awesome. Lastly, an iced tea was served. Just as I said, I was not too surprised at all.
In conclusion, the salad looked like the best, I mean in terms of varieties and taste, I found that the chef should have paid so much effort on it. But the main course was not that bad, but it can be better.
