Last weekend, I finally ventured over to Kowloon City where I hear is the capital of good and cheap food. On top of the list of restaurants we wanted to try, this restaurant was number one. My companion has tried the veal goulash ages ago and raves about it so I was looking forward to trying that. We had already ate lunch so we were here at an off hour at around 4PM so there were hardly any lines. My companion has tried the veal goulash ages ago and raves about it so I was looking forward to trying that. We had already ate lunch so we were here at an off hour at around 4PM so there were hardly any lines. We had originally gone to the old shop but it was closed for renovation so came to this location instead. I was only planning on ordering the veal goulash but after taking a look at their recommendations menu, we were tempted by the curry mutton so we ordered that as well.

The curry mutton came first and the presentation was a bit sloppy with the sauce dripping over the edge of the plate. It smelled great tho and I dove right in. The lamb itself was tender and the taste was not too gamey. The thing about lamb is that if it is too gamey, people are turned off by the taste. The lamb here taste just right so it still has a hint of gamey taste - afterall that's why you are eating lamb and not beef. The curry sauce was a little bit spicy and went very well with the lamb. Cost HK$68.

Finally our veal goulash arrived piping hot. Everyone recommends this dish so I had really high expectations. The outside surface was pan-fried crispy. As I pick it up with my chopsticks, the sauce inside starts to spill out from the sides. By the time I actually took a bite of the thing, all the sauce has fell out onto the plate and there were a lot. 
 The meat inside was flavorful and juicy. It was really good and I can see why it's a favorite dish here. I'm only disappointed that my sauce fell out and I didn't want to lick my plate to taste it. Be sure to use a bowl to catch the sauce when you eat this. Cost HK$30.

題外話/補充資料: My only complaint here is the service. We were seated near the door and as people come in and out, hot air were blowing at us and it's summer here now. We requested to change to another seat to the boss lady (I think) and she loudly rejected us claiming that it's way too much trouble, blah blah blah.
