This place is a self-service frozen yogurt place, where you pick a cup (small / large) and head over to the dispensers (four) and get your desired flavours. The two machines had four dispensers in total which had the following flavours: Original Cookies and creamChocolateTaroAfter you have filled your cup, you may select some toppings with it, and then it is weighed on a scale. $15/100g, same as Yogo in causeway bay. The machines here were pretty heavy and the hole quite thick so it was hard to get only a tiny bit. We got all four flavours to try but even with trying my best to disperse as little as possible the minimum i could get for each flavour was approximately 50g....In the end without toppings ours weighed about 220g - more than we wanted!
original
this was quite icy and tart but also sweet and not creamy enough - not like milky cow or yo mama.
chocolate
this reminded me of Berrygood's chocolate froyo - it tasted really similar to that of chocolate ice cream, except perhaps it could have been more creamy.
taro
taro was really good, possibly our favourite from the four we sampled. It was creamier and tasted true to its name, reminding me a lot of the filipino taro flavoured ice cream I used to get before Philippines' customs banned it.
cookies and cream
this was our least favourite, tasted like the original mixed with a bit of the chocolate and/or watered down.... it melted quite quickly and it was an awful colour too, not like cookies and cream from, say, haagen daz which has a sweet cream base speckled with cookies. No, here it was a pale brown colour....
I like how this shop was quite spacious, and is another option for frozen yogurt after dining at one of the many restaurants on Ashley road.
