After our lovely romantic dinner with my boo, we have decided to go to our Next Station: Dessert! Chestnut Waffle with Cookies and Crema Ice Cream ($58)

Me and my boo have picked our favourite which is the in-season chestnut! Compared to the staple one with filled sweet potato puree, this chestnut puree is not as generous, but still enough to go with the whole waffle.

 The chestnut puree was spreaded on top of the freshly prepared waffle, doesn't it just look mouth watering?

 In terms of the texture, their waffles are quite crunchy and hard in texture, instead of soft and chewy. The edges were almost crispy and it was a perfect combination with some ice cold cookies and cream ice cream, which could actually soften it up a bit. 

Since it was quite filling and big in portion size, it would be better for sharing.

 Warm Chocolate Foam ($58)

The glass was filled with marinated strawberries and chocolate brownies at the bottom, topped with pink lady yogurt ice cream, warm chocolate foam, and a sheet of chocolate crisp.

 The warm chocolate foam tasted like heated up melted chocolate ice cream to us, yet not too hot to melt the ice cream. We also liked to use the chocolate crisp to scrape the ice cream as well as the warm chocolate foam.

 The sourness from the strawberry as well as the yogurt ice cream balanced out the sweetness from the chocolate foam and the fudgy brownies at the bottom. Though the strawberries tasted a bit like frozen, it was still very sweet and fresh in taste.

 There were almost 4-5 broken pieces of dense and rich chocolate brownies at the bottom, so remeber to dig deeper and well combine everything together.

 Overall, the price was quite at the mid price range among this dessert area in the neighbourhood. The taste was probaby above average and the cominbation of flavours were quite creative. We particularly liked how they change the menu from time to time just to make sure they were using the best ingredients at the time.
