Sadly I don't have any photos as I didn't bring my camera.I have been here before for lunch, when they have tea sets, but I think the portions are reduced or just not as good as the regular dishes. But that's not the point here haha.We ordered the classic set for 2 people (something along those lines), where you can pick 2dishes from 4choices (which cost about HKD$188).So we chose the classic spaghetti bolognaise and a pizza (I think the other two choices were a basket of deep fried chicken wing

We ordered the classic set for 2 people (something along those lines), where you can pick 2dishes from 4choices (which cost about HKD$188).
So we chose the classic spaghetti bolognaise and a pizza (I think the other two choices were a basket of deep fried chicken wings and steak), and it included a very delicious soup (resembling minestrone, I didn't look at the name).
We also added a hot chocolate fudge brownie and a slice of cheescake for $20 each as part of the extras for the set.
Anyhow the service is polite and attentive both times I went - glasses were refilled as soon as they noticed (which is awesome because I drink so much water ;) and the pace at which they served the dishes was excellent. They don't just dump all your dishes on you when they're ready in a heap.
They take your dishes away after you finish each dish. And they don't rush you (perhaps because I went at uncrowded times? Both times the restaurant was quiet compared to other HK restaurants).
The soup was beautiful, I absolutely loved the taste but I found a few unexpected few kidney beans - doesn't match well with the texture of the soup.
The best thing about the spaghetti was the sauce - they don't skimp on the meatballs and plenty of sauce too. mmmm. But I was surprised they did not serve them individually, rather, you share the spaghetti.
The pizza was great too, nothing like the vomit-inducing trash that is Pizza Hut or Dominos (at least in Australia). The crust was crispy and baked to perfection.
We wanted to leave some space for dessert so we asked for it to be boxed.
The staff are quite polite if you want to takeaway your leftovers - not the norm in usual western restaurants but maybe because everyone does it in China/HK.
Next was dessert! The brownie was best part of the meal hands-down! I may just be biased towards brownies in general though.
It was actually more like cake but more melted and fudgy. But I was wowed at the thick decadent layer of hot fudge on top (which may have overwhelmed the brownie itself ;) but it was delicious! Not to say the vanilla ice cream that came with it. I wonder where restaurants source their ice cream from, it always tastes better than the buckets at supermarkets.
I didn't like the cheesecake (the menu didn't state it was lemon-flavoured) but I have to admit it is very good. It is odd though because its texture is hard, more like ice cream than unlike the cheesecakes I usually have (which are more like yogurt/cream). The lemon is very subtle though. Also, the biscuit-crumb base fell off the cheesecake so it seemed like they had frozen their cheesecake (big no-no).
All in all, great experience and I plan on going again (unless or until I discover other affordable western restaurants with great service and cuisine).
