Dinner finally after such a long time! 2 of us decided to try Bombana’s Chinese restaurant. Dim sum lunch was highly recommended by friends cos apparently the chef used to work at FLM. There were dim sum on the dinner menu and we picked the prawn toast. To satisfy my salty egg yolk craving, we ordered the fried prawns in salty egg yolk (signature dish on the menu). There were dim sum on the dinner menu and we picked the prawn toast. To satisfy my salty egg yolk craving, we ordered the fried prawns in salty egg yolk (signature dish on the menu). As a third dish we went for the celery with 東星班球. The salty egg yolk prawns were AMAZING. Crispy and light. Prawns tasted fresh. Prawn toast was good also, still crispy after turning cold. To finish off we had the steamed honey and brown sugar sponge cake. Very “yeen un”, right amount of sweetness. Service was attentive, wine list was ok. Decor was interesting and modern. In summary, would def go back for lunch to try out all the dim sum. One point to note tho- I don’t recommend this restaurant to people with walking difficulties- as we had to walk up several flights of short stairs (with artwork for sale displayed) to reach the restaurant. Maybe they can try the other branch in Central instead.
