So I checked out that weirdly named Illuminati restaurant the other day for a burger and fries. I was feeling like chicken so I got their chicken burger. Man this burger hit the spot! The chicken patty was juicy and had just the right amount of seasoning. It didn't overload your mouth with flavors but you could really taste the pepper. Man this burger hit the spot! The chicken patty was juicy and had just the right amount of seasoning. It didn't overload your mouth with flavors but you could really taste the pepper. And man was it tender - just melted in my mouth. They topped it with the usual lettuce, tomato and onion. The bun held up well too without getting soggy which can sometimes be a problem.
As for the fries, you get a huge pile of 'em. Really crispy on the outside but still fluffy inside. Just a light sprinkle of salt to bring out that potato taste without being too salty. I have to say, the fries were some of the best I've had in a while. They stayed crispy all through my meal too which was awesome.
Overall, for a casual lunch these were some quality dishes. Fresh ingredients, big portions, and super tasty. At a fair price too. I'll definitely be back to try more stuff on the menu. If you're looking for a cool place to grab a burger and fries, you can't go wrong at Illuminati.
