From walking in the door to leaving, we made to feel welcome by the lady behind the counter. We had a cup of cafe latte and it was pretty good. Smooth and robust, but without any bitterness. It could have been a little stronger in flavour, but it was good enough. The problem of finding a truely great cup of coffee in Macau continues with each visit we make, but here, the latte was fine. It doesn't hit the heady hights of coffee in such places as 18 Grams of Rabbithole in Hong Kong, but I gue

It doesn't hit the heady hights of coffee in such places as 18 Grams of Rabbithole in Hong Kong, but I guess all of us who live in HK are a little spoiled in that regard.
If we visited Taipa Village again, we would go again. If you are desperate for a good cup of joe, then head on down there too. At about 30 MOP, it's worth it.
They also sell coffee beans at a reasonable price and will grind them for you if you need them to. We picked up a bag of East Timor beans for about 60 MOP, a very decent price compared to Hong Kong.
