Learned a new word today...Tourist trap! As quoted by a popular reviewer, it is when "greedy business men take advantage of unwary tourists who do not know the city well." Never thought I'd experience it, but here we are. Let us explore why this place isn't as it promised. Now normally a pork chop bun shouldn't cost more than MOP $20-$35 , for this place to charge such gargantuan prices (MOP $53 for pork chop bun + milktea) can only mean one thing..it is delicious second to none in its speciality
Now normally a pork chop bun shouldn't cost more than MOP $20-$35 , for this place to charge such gargantuan prices (MOP $53 for pork chop bun + milktea) can only mean one thing..it is delicious second to none in its speciality--no, just no.
First off, there were no seats inside at all, so you're literally eating off of a tray on this makeshift bench nailed to the wall which was filthy, because no one bothered to clear the scraps from previous inconsiderate patrons. Here comes the fun part, you will find that the bag will become drenched in grease even though the pork chop was thin as sheets of office paper--makes you wonder where the oil was coming from. Finally, the bun was hard as balls, man! Gums were literally being shredded into a bloody pulp from its hard shrapnel-like baguette pieces.
In short, this place is literally surviving off their past reputation. Was so disappointed that I'll save my tears (and gums) and never return.
