「麥田廚房」屬香港少有的俄國菜館之一,並揉合上海菜的原素。在餐廳的內部,見得最多的擺設是俄羅斯娃娃,亦有一系列暴力熊 (?) 公仔整齊排列在水吧位置。 「上海派招牌羅宋湯」是餐廳的招牌菜,湯汁調厚,甜重酸輕,牛肉投入量不算少,味道不俗。 「香煎帶子沙律」簡單以醋汁調味,並以帶子作點綴,平實無華。 「麥田脆炸雞翼」製作熱辣香脆,只是略嫌老火了一點點。 「香煎牛舌粒」沒有預期中的爽彈感,反而有些似吃鹹香餐肉的感覺。 「傳統迷你蝦多士」出品薄脆香口,蝦膠見彈,讚! 「俄式薄餅」以俄式薄餅 (小蛋糕) 作底,面上唧上酸忌廉及放入紅魚子醬,味道以鹹鮮的魚子醬為主,酸忌廉及甜蛋糕作襯托,輕輕調和魚子醬的重味。 接下來是豬牛羊三道大盤,當中以「香煎黑毛豬配蘋果汁薯角」最為吸引,豬扒大塊鬆軟,輕蘸玉桂蘋果醬口味佳。至於「俄式串燒牛柳」及「俄式串燒羊 • 雜菜沙律」的製作都未予驚喜,牛柳稍鹹,羊肉羶感不重,約八成熟度味道比牛柳稍勝一籌。再來三客飯麵主食,同樣以鬆軟豬扒作代表的「茄汁焗豬扒飯」水準最佳,飯粒乾身富嚼勁,芝士茄汁酸香可口。焗飯表面適度燒焦,亦是另一惹味源頭。「黑椒牛柳絲意粉」及「俄國
