It was the usual annoying spring weather with rain and humidity yet still a bit cool. It made us want to eat something hot with some carbs again. This time we came to Aeon Style to shop and decided to drop by at this branch for lunch.Again, we ordered exactly the same items to try and see if there would be any differences compared with our previous visit. My last visit was around half a year ago. I couldn’t believe that the food had improved so so much in half a year’s time. Or maybe we were ju
Again, we ordered exactly the same items to try and see if there would be any differences compared with our previous visit. My last visit was around half a year ago. I couldn’t believe that the food had improved so so much in half a year’s time. Or maybe we were just lucky this time? As usual we ordered the two different lunch sets with different side dishes to share between ourselves.

The crayfish salad was served to us very soon. The server was so nice to introduce the dish to us and asked us to eat by wrapping it with the seaweed. It was again pretty appetising with delicious salad dressing and crispy seaweed.

Then the pan fried dumplings were brought to us next. They were super freshly done and were so hot. The wrapping was super thin with loads of pork and probably some cabbages stuffed inside. For some reason, we both agreed that the dumplings were better with even thinner wrapping and more stuffing than usual!

The Prawn Miso Ramen had always been my favourite because of the rich flavour and smell of prawns especially 焦香! Again, there was no disappointment. A very big surprise was that the ramen were very al dente - it had the perfect texture which I really liked. Because of this, I had to say the ramen here was so far the best I had ever tried amongst other 別天神 ramen bars! There were two slices of char siu which were sufficiently tender with a little bit of fat in the middle. Both slices were of similar size this time. All other ingredients including the soft boiled egg, sakura prawns, corns, spring onions and seaweed were equally good as before. One thing I should mention about the soft boiled egg was that it was so soft and sweet and cold!

The Hakata Style Ramen seemed to be better than before too with clear and delicious soup which could be finished without the feeling of thirst afterwards. The only thing different compared with the Prawn Miso Ramen was the crispy black fungi slices in addition to the soup base.

Please look at the super al dente ramen this time!
The spicy pickled bean sprouts and seasoning like sesame, garlic sauce etc. together with the water and chopsticks etc. were nicely presented on the table. It was really highly recommended that you add loads of chopped sesame to your ramen to add smell, flavour and texture, like how we always did.
Service was super efficient, maybe because it was still early for lunch at around 12:10pm, we managed to finish all our food in 20 min.
Deep from my heart, I had to admit that it was a very unforgettable ramen experience with super delicious food this time.
