We choose this restaurant for birthday dinner with advanced booking. The food is fair within our expectation. Main course of beef cheek is good.However, the experience is not good at all,1. Compulsory Purchase of water. No tap water or regular water will be provided. Since we read similar review before, just to remind other customer in advance.2. 在上環近荷里活道的橫街有多間法國Bistros，可能那處環境比較静和有懷舊的背景，母親節不去飲茶同人迫，静静地去食個法國餐，說說兒時有趣的回憶，Bonillon 正是一間很cozy 的合適Parisian Bistro.開餐先serve 一籃 sourdough bread 免費無限添食，sparkling water 就$30 位，order 咗兩個starter，4 個main 和一個甜品。⭐Escargot 🐌有六隻Burgundy snails, 充滿蒜蓉和oliver oil 的香味，用sourdough 麵包點吃，冇得頂👍，未到食main 都食咗兩籃麵包了，escargot 本身有一股好像糖心鲍魚的味道，在咀裹慢慢細嚼，其味無窮😋⭐Classic beef- tartare看似份量少，其實足夠4人食用，牛肉加上蛋黃，超smooth，肉質淋滑，入口溶化，牛肉非常新鮮，沒有絲毫蘇味，加上粹粹的酸味瓜粒，層次感增加了不少😋⭐Risotto用上细細通心粉pasta, 加上cream, cheese 和松露醬，一碟很不起眼白白色的risotto洒上些香草粹，你真的猜不到，這是今餐最滋

I've been wanting to secure a presentable french bistro with good food for hanging out. I think I've found the place.  We ordered oysters, beef tartare, foie gras, seared scallop with truffles, fries and  escargot. I didn't used to like French food but I think I am starting to enjoy it. I found that the entire experience was better than our visit at Jean May. I thoroughly enjoyed the food and vibe. Don't come in a big party, any more than 2-3 would be too crowded.
