Kiki asked if she could select our meal - we said “yes”. Lemongrass salad was outstanding with over 20 fresh ingredients. I can’t remember everything we had but the Crab curry and lycee and coconut dumpling desert were both excellent. Great service and all dishes were well explained and described.Venue is spacious and a stylish artistic decor. We had friends with us from out of town and everyone around the table agreed the the entire dining experience was very memorable. Highly recommended

You will feel excited to find a place like this for dinner in Central. Last weekend, my buddies and I were lookingfor a place to dine. When we were walking along the footbridge, we walked into this beautiful place named Tai Kwun (old Central Police Station),while we were thinking about which restaurant to go to,we bumped into this busy place called Armoury Bar with a dining area upstairs, we weretold that the upper floor is a Thai restaurant called Aaharn. 今日對很多人來說是一個很特別的記念日子，也抽空到大館這邊開會，由於尚有時間，天氣炎熱之下選了一間比較舒服嘅餐廳嘆一杯冰凍黑咖啡。去到吧枱點了咖啡之後在外邊坐下，上網才發現這是一間泰國餐廳，以它的價格來說，服務真的是太求其。黑咖啡係用一個Singha 啤酒杯出品，話說特別，也可以說是求其。看了食評也看到很多負面的comment，應該唔會來嘗試午餐或晚餐。 環境還算舒服，由於大館屬於新開的中環重點地標，所以個client mix 其實好緊要。如果其他餐廳都係咁嘅服務，應該只能做遊客生意。

I have been to Aaharn a few times now, and each time is a definite improvement on the last. It seems as though the restaurant has discovered more fitting recipes to display their craft in a Hong Kong context. The latest visit to Aaharn, as pictured, I took my visiting girlfriend to try the fine dining that Thai experience that Aaharn has to offer. From appetizer to final dessert, everything is either too sweet or salty for me. You name it, Jungle beef curry, made out of dry beef, is too much in terms of quantity of spices and salt being used. Had company event, booked a table at the terrace. Ours is a set menu, for a 21 pax dinner, and 6-7 dishes dinner with alcohol costs 30K, that's the minimum charge.We booked for 7.15pm, full party arrived, seated, drinks being served, however, the appetizer took more than 1 hr to be served and in the mean time, there were no bread provided, so for an entire hour with senior management, all they did were to refill our drinks. I have made reservation on line for a bday celebration dinner with my friend. The dish is just ok but overpriced. If you have a drink at ground floor, it costs $50 per glass for happy hour. If you drink the same upstairs, it costs over $150 per glass which is quite expensive. Service on reservation is good with close follow up and WhatsApp reminder. The beef salad is very salty and the portion of food is tiny in general. Curry dish is nice served with rice. Service is fine and staff is nice. But

It is  a very bad experience for the table  reservation,  even other restaurants in Tai Kwun, all can reply their customer not more than 2 days for the quote. Even other restaurants also  have public holiday or on holiday, they can still keep update their customer on time by different channel, email , WhatsApp and so on...Complicated reservation procedure is annoying (need to fill in the credit form, only allow to do reservation online if more than 4 or 5 persons) , even get the quote is also ex

平安午遊館，一圈心無屬，猶見泰吧空。關門性價疑，男應笑面迎，心想可一試。綠咖辣度洽，魚餃韻味郁，檸茶色式泰。五味骨雖佳，唯獨欠泰香，悠景補有餘。份量僅半飽，但價亦相宜，happy hour 可再試。Green curry with fish dumplings. Beans are a little raw, but like the curry. Five spice braised pork, delicious but a little ChineseQuite affordable price in the context of the neighbourhood, happy hour 3-8pm could be even better.

It was one of the worst meals we have had for a long time....Service:- Pretentious. Refused to provide a menu until the full party has arrived, despite the menus are actually available on the website. We literally have to wait for 20min before seeing the menu because one person was late. - Service was very slow......Portion:- Outrageous small, a "family size" dish is barely enough for one personFood quality:- Mediocre at best. Tiny dishes but expensive; the turmeric and prawn salad $158 and the simple fried watercress $158 are like left-overs from other tables that brought to us. The very little bowl of lobster red curry $358 has only 4 tiny bits of lobster meat with just barely good for one persons’ portion of curry sauce; we 4 girls are already small eaters but were so pissed at what we are paying and at what we are fed!!!
