環境:
一入到餐廳, 所有waiter, waitress都會好nice咁welcome你, first impression唔錯.
裝修就係一般嘅中上西餐廳隔局, 有梳化位同靠牆嘅座位, 同埋有個好細嘅海景view,但係最唔好嘅就係檯與檯之間嘅距離太窄喇, 你完全聽到隔離檯嘅對話內容(同樣地, 你講嘅野, 隔離檯都會好清楚聽到啦!) 所以真係有d失望, 我覺得唔係咁啱情侶黎談心+fine dining, d 位太近喇!

食物:
我之前諗住會有set選擇, 原來係無架
, 由於我honey係一個完全唔鍾意睇menu嘅人, 惟有由我發板啦! 我揀左:

1) 湯: Daily Soup係露筍湯(HK$65): 味道一般, 同普通西餐廳無乜分別; 另外我揀左廚師推介嘅忌廉蟹湯creamy crab bisque(HK$98)俾我honey, 我honey話d蟹味有d假,好似味精整出黎d好鮮甜嘅味, 我都飲左一啖, 都同意honey嘅comment...

2)前菜: 小青口Mussels 200g [白酒忌廉汁] (HK$150): 呢青口好細隻, 比手指甲大少少, 食個陣都幾麻煩, 一定要用手黎整開隻青口先食到, 不過, d 青口好鮮甜, 同埋個白酒忌廉sauce真係好好味, 我都"飲"左好多, 呢個要俾個good呀!

3) 主菜: 肉眼扒Rib Eye 280g (HK$388): 我係牛痴一名, 當然要揀番我最愛嘅牛菜式啦!問左個waiter嘅意見, 佢推介肉眼扒, 所以我就信佢, 揀左個280g 嘅份量, 個肉眼扒都幾好食, juicy同埋都有濃郁嘅牛味,不過, 最唔好嘅係個肉眼整得太熟喇, 我要求五成熟, 佢整左成七成熟俾我呀!以一間中高檔餐廳黎講, 呢個錯係唔可以接受囉! 仲要成四舊水, 真係有d唔值呀!
之後, 有個好似manager嘅人黎問我地意見, 我同佢講個肉眼煮得太熟, 佢淨係俾左個有少少sorry嘅表情我, 唉!

4) 主菜: 雜菌炒扁意大利麵Ratatouille Linguini (HK$150): 意粉嘅質感係al dente嘅, 而配菜就係一般嘅黃椒, 紅椒, 同埋幾款菌類, 不過, 唔知點解, d意粉同配菜加埋個蕃茄茸sauce好似完全唔夾咁, 食到你唔想食加無心機, 到最後都食唔晒...

5)飲品: 同大多數嘅貴價餐廳一樣, 水係要另外叫架, 有sparkling(有汽)同still(無汽)嘅礦泉水俾你揀, 我地要左無汽嘅Jouvence (still), 盛惠HK$68; 另外, 當晚我想飲酒, 但係honey就唔想飲, 所以我就問waiter有咩推介, 我個人比較鍾意較fruity嘅紅酒, 咁個waiter就介紹左Clos du Roca嘅紅酒俾我, (HK$75/glass), 味道都OK!

6) 甜品: 最後, 緊係少不了嘅生日蛋糕啦! 我honey知道我鍾意食拿破侖餅, 佢一早訂左. 我都好期待呀, 因為Agnes b甜品都好出名, 諗住之前有d 菜式唔好食, 食甜品可以拉番高d分, 同埋有個完滿d嘅dinner啦!估唔到個甜品係最令人失望嘅! 個蛋糕係4寸嘅rasperry 拿破侖餅(HK$180),仲要成差唔多兩舊水. 但係個蛋糕係同一般嘅拿破侖餅好唔同, 只有有三塊酥皮,中間夾滿紅莓同custard, 但係d酥皮一d都唔crispy, 我切左一下都"抆"唔番把刀出黎呀, 而且d紅莓好酸,同酥皮d味道都唔match, 我同honey食左兩啖都唔想食, 但係又唔想咁浪費, 所以就打包左半個走, 返屋企先再處置!

總括黎講, 呢餐係我近幾年食過最失望同唔好味嘅生日飯呀! 貴之餘加超級唔開心,環境同服務真係好一般. 我地食左總共$1,300蚊, 以咁嘅價錢, 我寧願去Ruth Chris 或者金鐘酒店d 西餐廳食好過呀!

I went for lunch last Friday and no reservation required. We sat down and ordered the "Compulsory Water with gas or no gas" =$60, a glass of white wine=$60 with set and we decided to have 2 set lunch @268 each: includes Daily Salad, Mushroom soup, Salmon Tartar and Daily fish which turn out to be Grilled Sea Bream. Overall, the food was unbelievably BAD. I would not even compare to any of the French restautant in HK even the setting and environment are similar to "the Pierre", and the atmosphere

I went for lunch last Friday and no reservation required. Overall, the food was unbelievably BAD. I would not even compare to any of the French restautant in HK even the setting and environment are similar to "the Pierre", and the atmosphere is close to "Petrus". I think the chef on duty must be so tired that day and ran out of idea.

So, from my advice if you are willing to spend money for good food, forget about this place. I would not even consider this as an option. The Peninsula seems like a much better choice.

同朋友仔食完生日飯後,走左去食cake原本想去文華,但已經賣晒再諗住去cova,點知又收左鋪最後行遠少少去左IFC環境真係幾好靚,好彩去到仲有少量caked cake真係好靚~味道都ok~四人叫左四件share食 Ophélie四件之中最普通既一款,可以唔洗試 strawberry tart 好多strawberry,好味~ Opera 本人覺得好味過文華果隻Opera chocolate cake 好得意,四款之中最好味,個底脆脆地~i like it 再叫左杯 ice pineapple tea $38~好好味再每人送左一粒朱古力,大大粒,幾好味~ ^__^好開心的一日

Ytd was my bf's birthday, so I've reserved the table a week ago......the envirnoment was great & romantic, we sit nearby the windows side (thought there is no sea view), but it is quite private enough for two...... Ytd was my bf's birthday, so I've reserved the table a week ago......the envirnoment was great & romantic, we sit nearby the windows side (thought there is no sea view), but it is quite private enough for two...... I can say the taste is not that "good" honestly.....but I think it is a cozy place for lovers to have dinner here...

French Bouchot mussels ---> the mussel is fresh & i love the white wine & cream source
Duck Liver ---> A bit over-cooked
Seabrass ---> Recommed!
Augus beef w/ fries ---> the beef is not juicy enough....I prefer the side dish (french fries) more
Dessert ---->Bad!!!! Very Very Very disappointed! Not "Sweet" as a dessert.

Agnès b. le pain grillé:即餐廳本身的名字,為烤麵包。幾款不同的麵包烤得很香口,熱騰騰而且外脆內軟,配以法式牛油,味道很好。其中一款麵包更印有品牌標誌,非常特別。

 
Mini canapés de crevette:為圓型的小多士,鋪面材料有蝦、芝士、火腿及沙律菜等,一口一件,味道不錯。

 
Escargots:法式田螺一客六件,連殼以蒜蓉及牛油焗香,簡單得來卻很好吃。


主菜
 
Moules marinières:白酒焗藍青口。用上法國地道的藍青口,雖然不算大隻,但隻隻鮮甜味美。而以白酒、香草及牛油煮成的汁料更是一絕,好吃得使大家也以青口殼舀汁料來吃吧!

 
Frites françaises:跟藍青口的一個炸薯條。賣相與快餐店無異,但味道卻出奇地好,食脆且有薯仔味,比那間著名連鎖漢堡包店做得更好。

 
Linguini palourdes:蜆肉意大利麵條。巨型蜆肉連殼同煮,味道很鮮甜;而麵條也煮得軟硬適中,配以奶油及香草汁,味道很好。

 
Bifteck de faux-filet:350g 肉眼扒以炭火五成熟燒烤,火候掌握得很好,外屬烤成微焦,但肉扒中層仍帶血紅,鮮嫩味美,配以紅酒實是一流。

 
Bouillabaisse La Loggia:為廚師精選的主題法式魚湯,材料有龍蝦、帶子、大蝦、藍青口、魚柳等。味道就是龍蝦湯,但沒有坊間煮得那般稠,而且食材本身很豐富,煮出來的魚湯當然也特別香濃。


甜品
 
Mini pâtisserie d'anniversaire:為賀小弟生日,小店特別準備以法式小糕點作為生日蛋糕。三款小糕點分別為 Chloé(榛子脆脆朱古力海綿蛋糕)、Charlène(栗子脆脆朱古力海綿蛋糕)和 Marion(焦糖酥皮鳥結脆批)。味道全部也很好,前兩者朱古力味濃郁,後者非常香脆,而且也不會太甜。三者之中小弟最喜歡 Chloé。

 
Agnès b. Délice chocolate:為小巧的朱古力塊,形狀大多為四四方方(也有些為不規則的),只是以表面印著不同的圖案來區分卅多款不同口味。我們當然沒有嘗遍各種,但以榛子及荔枝味道較佳,但這些朱古力大多較甜,不好甜者未必能受得到吧。

 
Café ou thé - cappuccino:選了 cappuccino 為餐飲,味道也不比咖啡專門店遜色吧。


服務方面,店員由帶位入座、落單、添水、清理以至埋單也殷勤有禮;當我們選擇菜式時,經理也用心為菜式逐一介紹食材及烹調方法,而品嘗後也會跟進是否合大家口味等等。絕對是五星酒店的服務態度。

當然,完美的味道、環境及服務也要付出的。這裡的消費頗高,一個 set dinner 晚餐每位也要 $888,但試過後也是物有所值的。如果正為紀念日找個有情調的地方晚餐而苦惱著,不妨一試這裡色香味俱全的法國菜。

總覺得在這裏進餐,享受的是環境和服務,反而食味卻得不到完全滿足。

昨天晚上再次來到ifc的agnis b. 不過是今次是去le pain grille.總括而言, 這樣的quality個人覺得貴了一點. 不過不算太差.這餐廳氣氛還可以接受, 環境設計簡單不花巧. 雖然沒有半島酒店Felix的那種特殊的氣氛, 但也適合一般情侶約會或著朋友聚舊也可以到這兒慢慢吃慢慢聊. 暗淡中帶點低調的浪漫. 食物方面卻不及太子大廈的Sevva.Le pain grille的pastry都很鬆脆. 餐前麵包尚算外脆內軟, 不過仍有進步空間.蘑菇芝士 Pastry - 餐前吃點暖暖的也不錯.Canard farci au foie gras (pan-roasted duck meat ball stuffed with foie gras in balsamic sauce) $220 - 鴨肉和鵝肝的味道很濃味, 加上微酸的balsamic sauce和pama ham, 味道很澎湃.Confit d'agneau (penne pasta with "seven hours" slow cooked lamb shoulder) $185 - 羊肉不太酥, 而且很淋

總括而言, 這樣的quality個人覺得貴了一點. 不過不算太差.

Le pain grille的pastry都很鬆脆. 餐前麵包尚算外脆內軟, 不過仍有進步空間.

蘑菇芝士 Pastry - 餐前吃點暖暖的也不錯.

Canard farci au foie gras (pan-roasted duck meat ball stuffed with foie gras in balsamic sauce) $220 - 鴨肉和鵝肝的味道很濃味, 加上微酸的balsamic sauce和pama ham, 味道很澎湃.

Confit d'agneau (penne pasta with "seven hours" slow cooked lamb shoulder) $185 - 羊肉不太酥, 而且很淋, 味道也很濃. 而且飽肚.

Les glaces maison (Homemade Nougat Icecream) $45 - 相信應該是homemade的吧. 很有特色的雪糕. 味道像拖肥烏結糖. 可惜味道跟酸酸的鮮果不配.

不過都要說一句, 服務真的不錯!

We went to Agnes B Le Pain Grille for a girly friday night out... to chit chat and catch up. The ambience and decor inside is lovely, very initmate and cosy which would have made it perfect for a hot date. My only reservation was that the tables for two were seated so close together (particularly the ones lined along the wall). We got a corner table, which was ok, but for couples prefering a little more privacy i recommend the tables along the coridor further inside. The food is so so... nothing

The food is so so... nothing to shout about really. In fact it was so forgettable, that i don't really remember much about it. The dessert (which i do remember) was lovely. The platter is especially nice, cuz it comes with a lovely selection of the top favoruites in very sharable portions so you don't leave feeling like you stuffed your face and busted your diet.

I went back two weeks later just for coffee. Wanted to sit outside on the balcony and enjoy the lovely view. Unfortuntely the ventilation on the balcony is terrible with the exhaust fitted outside, so u end up breathing in all the "cooking" smell. Very unpleasant.

The bar area for coffee is quite nice, but not all that conducive with their swirly style chairs.

All in all, i'd say this place is very much all style but very little substance.

男朋友知道我鍾意agnes B, 聖誕節同我去中環ifc agnes B cafe 食法國菜聖誕餐.(7:30 -10:00)我心諗駛吾駛食甘耐..吾通真係上菜好慢?去到reception counter , waitress小姐好nice..一入到去, 成間全是黃色昏暗的燈光加燭光, 蠻浪漫的.桌上一早放了一男一女的薑餅人上面仲有個招牌"b" 的標誌..另外有agnes B packing 的聖誕帽, 很有心思我地坐近window side..sofa 位, 不過出面有露台, 有d area 俾人傾計遮住左(1) 餐前drink 有cocktail or non-alcoholic.. 去到reception counter , waitress小姐好nice..

一入到去, 成間全是黃色昏暗的燈光加燭光, 蠻浪漫的.
桌上一早放了一男一女的薑餅人上面仲有個招牌"b" 的標誌..
另外有agnes B packing 的聖誕帽, 很有心思

我地坐近window side..sofa 位, 不過出面有露台, 有d area 俾人傾計遮住左

(1) 餐前drink 有cocktail or non-alcoholic.. (我飲non-alcoholic, 有紅莓, 超好飲)
(2) 頭盤係我最鍾意的三文魚, 好新鮮...
(3 )之後係cream soup...同bread ( 好好飲) 但竟然忘記俾牛油

(4) 之後有一個海鮮冷盤, 好好味...
(5)再try 一個白色刨冰..(好酸同吾好食)
(6) 到主菜la, 可選, 牛, 羊同魚 (我同男友選 牛同魚)

但到左..後發現味道一般,,沒有特別回味
(7) dessert la..chocolate..cake..with 招牌"b" 的標誌..
(8)餐飲cappuccino
同expresso)..都好好..

我覺得除左環境同 drink..都沒有特別,又要出去商場先有洗手間..不過上菜speed and services ok gei..

去IFC的Agnes B shopping, 行到累, 入去Agnes B 食個tea。2個人, 叫咗:Sparkling water $604款口味的三文冶set (包一杯嘢飲) $158:味道ok, 不過都幾細件。mushroom crepe with 薯條 $108 (包一杯嘢飲):出其地個mushroom crepe勁好食, 夠熱, mushroom好多, 好多汁。幼薯條都好味。食物ok, 環境好到不得了, IFC呢間係咁多間最靚。個個customers都好relax咁食住tea, 傾住計咁。Service都ok喎。 原本要三百幾, AE白金卡有9折。其實呢d食唔飽的地方, 都係間唔中一次就夠了..哈哈哈哈…當獎勵一吓自己吧。

We went on a Saturday night and found the restaurant was not at all busy, so was looking forward to some good service.

The first let down was when the waiter came back five minutes after taking our order to tell us that they had run out of the onglet steak and would I like the other steak dish at roughly $100 more.

Firstly could the chef have not informed the staff which items were unavailable before taking customer orders, and secondly we had to wonder if this was a sales ploy to get us to spend more money as onglet steak is a French bistro classic dish and we could not believe management would be inefficient enough to run out by 9.00 on a Sat night.

I ordered a glass of house red wine and was told that they had run out. In thirteen years of dining in Hong Kong, and twenty more in Europe I have never heard of house wine running out.The head waiter was called and after too long a discussion was told it was a "misunderstanding" with my waiter, and the wine was duly brought.

I ordered the fish soup with garlic croutons to start. It was served with small pieces of brown bread. I asked where the garlic croutons were and some plain, no garlic, croutons were brought, by which time the soup was warm, and was bland to taste anyway.

Our side order of vegetables with the main course never arrived, nor did our request for ketchup and salt for the french fries, which were very good, almost the highlight of the meal.

My wife's mussels were pretty good, but my duck dish was tasteless.

The head waiter was called over again, and he explained that our waiter did not understand English very well. Totally unacceptable in a French restaurant with Central prices.

A plate of deserts was offered on the house, and they were very good.

高級餐廳價錢,茶餐廳服務。侍應們都以為自己是top model,個個悉心打扮,但態度高傲,我們未講完侍應就走開了,叫都叫唔住;即使說了些禮貌的話,但仍是有形無神,聽得出的敷衍,不說更令人舒服。這似乎是這公司管理層訓練員工的方針,因為這種態度在這餐廳的一致性很強,你接觸的每一個侍應,也有這種特點。要知道,高檔不等如高「鬥」,請這餐廳的員工到半島酒店和洲際酒店學習一下什麼才是高檔的服務。
