food was actually quite nice BUT 太多蚊！！！！---- we went that for dinner and started at about 8pm; 4 of our group of 6 got bitten （by mosquitoes, of course) so badly that we need to leave straight after. Ended up having desserts/coofee at Portobello ...超１败笔！.

這次的主角是一個相信是尼泊爾or 印巴籍的中年男侍應，身材略胖及一個類似餐廳老闆的外籍人士/經理。事緣昨日同朋友在Al Dente 慶祝生日，兩個人order 了一個appetizer，一個pasta 及一個main course; 以晚餐價不算便宜，一個main course 要$146，appetizer 也要$80，由於食物份量足及味道不俗，故尚算合理；環境方面相信各位去過都清楚，逼到死，其實我已經三日前訂位，而且仲七點正去到，餐廳根本無客，但個印巴籍中年男侍應堅持要我們坐在廚房門口、收銀機及樓梯交匯的一張，位置相當disturbing，又有蚊飛來飛去，心諗都算啦，費時嘈，破壞心情；點知戲肉啦，當我們剛剛吃完，大概8:30pm，個印巴籍中年男侍應便走過來問coffee or tea，我們說暫時不要，因本來我們想叫dessert，但由於好飽，便想坐一會先決定，點知個印巴籍中年男侍應唔夠1分鐘又走過問coffee or tea，呢次仲加多句話“出面好多人等”，我同個friend 都以為自己聽錯，心諗佢無理由咁過份，咁同個客講，同時我個friend 望出去根本就無人係門口等，所以無理佢

the atmosphere and location is much much better than their new one in Wanchai on Jaffe Road. Business is not good either even during lunch time.The chef owner is from Bangladesh and I must have my hats off for him to do a wonderful Italian cooking. Don't know if he's also good at curry??

I've been eating at this restaurant for at least 2 years now. It never disappoints. And it's one of the very rare good yet affordable Italian restaurants in Hong Kong. I love this place.

跟同事到這裡lunch, 大家都只有一個comment平, 靚, 正!LUNCH 有SALAD/ SOUP, MAIN DISH, DESSERT/ COFFEESALAD -- 材料好FRESH, 好大碟Main course: 有三個choice, 有魚, 雞, spaghetti, 本人選了煎三文魚..估不到味道其佳, 魚煮得很滑, 汁亦很香. 有兩大片三文魚, 幾乎全部吃完Dessert -- Ice-cream+ chocolate cake (有點像和民的那個朱古力軟心旦糕, 但比和民好味10倍)一定會再去

我地今晚三人七點九坐下,o個個印藉侍應九點未夠問左幾次我地食完未, 因有下一枱客訂左, 一早又o吾話我地知. Anway, 我地叫左燒大野菇叫頭盤, 煙三文魚pizza及西班牙海鮮飯, 樣樣都o吾錯, 不過西班牙海鮮飯好似o吾夠番紅花saffron香味, 用料倒很新鮮, 埋單$338都算抵食.不過要另找地方飲o野! 重有個問題- d 位好窄!

早幾個星期同幾個friend聚舊，5個女仔order左以下食物：煙三文魚沙律：沙律菜又多又新鮮，煙三文魚有四大塊，好味道！al dente pizza：其實普普通通，可以不試chicken stuffed with spinach: 都okay啦，不過好似d配菜吸引d另外waitress介紹一個魚作為主菜，個魚有兩大塊，但有些少overcook．而且，到我地理單時發覺原來charge我地兩份魚，個waitress事先無同我地講，有少少奉旨同老屈！之後我地問佢點解係兩份，佢仲話我地甘多人一定要兩份先得，原來佢有通天眼！根本佢就唔應該自作主張，問一聲有幾難呢？另外，我懷疑因為我地無order drinks,個waitess先至甘對待我地！如果可以，記得唔好坐樓上，好焗好，樓下好d.

旅行前同老友有D 野傾，約黎約去都夾唔o岩時間，結果係某天我做完gym 後同佢攝倒兩粒鐘食個light dinner。兩個女仔，都係食西比較易叫，就去左老友相熟o既Al Dente。星期三晚八點半過後，soho 依然好熱鬧，好彩我地去到時剛好有一檯客埋單，否則冇訂檯都幾難有位。坐定定後，先要左杯house white，味道都唔錯。呢度serve o既係切片o既麥包，雖然係翻熱，但質地仍然鬆軟，都OK。兩個人，叫左相熟侍應介紹o既燒牛肉沙律，再加一個海鮮意大利粉。個沙律份量好足，燒牛肉火候唔錯，外焦內紅，同撈左橄欖油黑醋汁、微甘o既沙律菜以及濃味芝士碎，配搭得恰到好處，唔錯！個意粉煮得恰如其分，al dente！個白汁味道都ok，不過不失，海鮮方面有蝦同魚，前者都幾新鮮爽脆。食完呢兩味菜，都已經相當飽，唔敢用個light字黎形容整體黎講，呢度o既食物質素幾有水準，地方細得黎尚算舒適，音樂聲亦唔會太嘈。呢一餐，算食得幾滿意！

I went to Al Dente with my best friend tonight for her Birthday.I have always been wanting to eat at this Restaurant, yet, this restaurant is ALWAYS booked out. Everytime I walked pass Al Dente, it was always packed. I tried to reserve for a table for at least 3 times in the past 2 weeks, but was always being rejected. 其實真係無乜特別，間間係SOHO 既餐廳仔都係咁，細囉，成日都大排長龍，d人鬼鬼地咁囉，d野真係幾好食囉，lunch set有salad/ soup，main dish同tea/coffee + desset(唔記得係咩喇!)，朋友話日日都唔同款喎，都只不過係around$80左右。好似有樓上雅座，夜晚或者開p都會開，不過好似密不透風咁，梗係唔上啦，想熱死我咩。朋友叫左類似risotto咁既飯，裡面有d牛仔肉，佢地話好靚，好鮮味好好食喎，我就叫左龍俐柳，好薄好大塊，可以yaam好多白汁，yummi yummi!個main既portion都幾大，我都覺得飽。呀，lunch同dinner都真係要book位架，最好早2，3日啦!

Even though it was Monday night, almost all of the tables there were reserved except the one we had. That probably meant something. The service was good, the gweilo manager-look-a-like was nice, and the owner look-a-like woman was very very friendly to us.Food was good, although the "San Benedetto" (Angel hair pasta with lobster cream sauce) was a little bit too creamy for me. 我o地兩個人Walk in, 個Waiter 話要8:00 前交檯, 好啦, 因為o固時6:30跟住Order o野食, 個Menu 咁多o野, 我o地又第一次o黎, 當然要諗下啦.佢o地嫌我o地諗得耐, 就話我o地啦. 的語氣都幾差我o地叫o左個Mushroom, 一個雞pasta and al dente pizza. 味道就幾好啦, 不過咁o既服務態度就要改善下.可能我o地唔係鬼佬. 我見佢o地對鬼佬好好多!

星期六晚飯後都要在公司搞埋D手尾，真無瘾！十二點幾至走得，朋友們話佢地在呢度睇波，仲話今晚好鬼旺，咁就真係要睇下有幾旺至得。去到真正係人山人海，成條蘭桂坊外街企滿人，這裡更是一檯難求，成十個人都只係圍住張小圓檯企，我都迫去買支啤酒來企。有班鬼妹玩得好high，扮鬼扮馬咁，又四圍搵人來錫，大家皆大歡喜。其實呢區旺係有指標的，你見中環地鐵站出面企滿等人的人，又在蘭桂坊周圍都隱約閒到陣「草」味，咁就即係差唔多啦，今晚就兩樣都有。曼聯嬴四粒，更皆大歡喜，可憐我至憎曼聯……

The place itself is small, so at lunch time you will have to book to get a table, the 3 course lunch set is reasonable with a starter or soup followed a main course and lastly tea, coffee or desert. The food is good and the portions are just right for lunch, and at a reasonable price.
