Just have dinner this weekend, tried some famous dishes like fried noodle, baby chicken, hot and spicy fried pawn, baby bird minced meat with cabbage....Overall quality is dropped. But good to go there when it still here. Get back some memories.....Lots of foreigners, looks like we are strange. ^_^Staff are old, but still strong. Better ask them what portion when you order as dishes have 3 different size.8 peoples, 4 guys, 3 ladies and 1 kid. within HK$1000.

聽聞以前好出名,今日來食晏,叫了個八人餐。很多,像吃晚飯,可能真的大不如前,但總括都ok既。捧捧雞乃個人最喜歡的,海蜇素鵝﹑賽磅蟹﹑炸蝦都普普通通啦,砂窩雲吞雞既湯幾好﹑京燒羊肉真的用鐵碟﹑炒拉麵無試過﹑甜品是高力豆沙。唔知呢度既片皮鴨得唔得呢?

週三中午,六個人,我、我的爸和媽、女伴、女伴的爸和媽,到這兒吃我人生很重要的一頓飯。這兒很有八十年代酒家feel,其實用來款客並唔係咁好,但因為女伴的爸喜歡,沒話說。點了經濟的午市套餐,埋單$426。因為工作關係,呢個套餐在過去六年,吃過至少十次。「砂窩雲吞雞」和「蝦仁炒蛋」:豐富的蛋白質,味道唔係好濃郁,係女人食物,份量不少。「回鍋肉」和「京燒羊肉」:香辛但油膩,係男人餸,下飯一流,份量略嫌唔夠。「炒麵」係用幼身的京麵,巳經飽到吃不下。「豆沙窩餅」幾普通,亦唔係難整,都OK。題外話:食完呢餐,個project 正式起動。訂了明年今日,擺番xx咁多圍,哩…嘿…嘿!

(30/6)當你看看美利堅京菜的英文譯名時,已經知道這裡的定位如何。甫坐下已見不少洋人密密地吃,他們也吃了那煎炸類的菜式,但你見到他們吃京菜,總好過見到他們吃junk food,他們亦吃得津津有味。沒有吃那北京填鴨,實在不知道水準如何,亦沒有必要去試的衝動。生菜鴨崧包,似乎算是可以的一味,不太濃味,鴨肉入口有肉味,配以生菜包,有助消化;而餃子,相比其他菜式,亦不太差,有肉味,全晚有印象的就如此。細蓉算是長期密友,有時遇上不妥當的事情,總會想起它,是夜也如此。

日本朋友星期日上機飛澳洲,諗住搵間有特色一點的中菜,誰不知這次她反客為主,話要來這裡吃片皮鴨。呢度十多年前係幾掂的,但轉左手同廚房後便大不如前。但說多也沒用,她最後還是想試呢度的片皮鴨,可見旅遊手冊的威力。坐上層,人客都不少,亦十年如一日的多外國人幫襯。六個人來晚飯,叫不了太多菜,預訂了片皮鴨同叫化雞、鐵板蝦球、鍋貼及炒拉麵,再加三個冷盤捧捧雞、燻魚及海哲,同埋個味就已經差不多。三個冷盤以捧捧雞較好,燻魚是醬油煮魚,還有點腥味,海哲普普通通;片皮鴨是第一個表演項目,在外國人眼中始終推車仔、戴白手套係高級一點。交帶不要太肥,真的選了一隻不太肥的,烤得仍不錯,始終有個烤爐是烤得出好鴨,味道可以,但鴨肉就無什味道,都說水準是比以前下降了;叫化雞係第二個表演項目,還可以親手搞碎包著雞的硬泥,有噱頭。雞用牛油紙包著,內裡料很多,有蓮子、木耳、肉絲等等,味道都算不錯,可惜的是雞肉似乎是平凡了一點,亦過腍亦略欠口感,不過呢一味叫化雞,在香港個人是不知道有那裡做得好的,總知食完兩味客人都很滿意就是;鐵板蝦球亦係視覺及聽覺享受多於味道,不是說味道不好,而是以這個價錢應有更佳質數。鍋貼是細細隻的京式,已是

差不多一年前在這裡吃過晚飯,一上到去,真係好多鬼佬,差不多有七成以上都是外國人,自己也變成少數民族,說回它們的菜,基本上同鹿鳴春相似,但被鹿明春平,小炒是可能的。

對不起!實在退步得太緊要,已經唔係以前的美利堅。唔信可以試鍋貼,好似係用油炸過咁,脆卜卜、實「的的」,可能外國人會好鍾意。但依我愚見,正宗鍋貼應該是底脆﹝煎﹞而表皮軟﹝蒸﹞,餡要夠熱又有肉汁,咁至為之好吃和正宗。以前的美利堅做得到,但而家已經唔得。上星期剛剛帶了班外國朋友去,豆腐類和糖糟類真係嚇一跳,個獻汁有茶餐廳、大排檔的影子,十分「漏」。鐵板羊肉或牛肉差不多味,肉質本身亦「林」得緊要,可能係落疏打粉喇過籠的原故。烤鴨、叫化雞、三鮮拉麵和砂鍋雲吞雞尚可保持,但後者「師傅」太多,一定要叫定支可樂stand-by。可幸的是客似雲來,還是老外居多,始終底子雄厚,就算食老本做外國人都門庭若市。若是要求唔高還可以一試。但想吃老子號京菜,如此價錢其實有很多選擇。還望吃回以前的美利堅……

北京填鴨-- 我唔食餅皮, 齋食填鴨, 所以不便俾評語~ 不過佢o地食得好開心, 仲要side order 多一份餅皮~
炒鴨絲-- 鴨絲少, 雜菜好味D, 夠清爽~

炸銀絲卷-- 我無食到~

煎窩貼-- 好脆呀!!!!!!!!!! ^O^
蒸餃子-- 好味呀!!!!!!!!!!!
酒糟魚-- 魚肉有少少酒糟味, 正~ ^_^
拔絲香蕉-- 好正呀~~~ 雖然D 冰水唔夠凍, D 糖仲係少少暖, 不過都夠脆~
