They have a number of branches all over Hong Kong. We picked this one on Bridges Street, further down the lane from PMQ. Got a relaxed weekend vibe even during a Monday lunchtime. While it’s really quite far away from the busy areas, to our surprise, it’s still pretty filled. It’s a nice start from the bread to cold cuts platter to the salad.
The mains, the Alonzo’s Carbonara (supplement $10) was amazing! The spaghetti in creamy egg sauce paired with the really, really, crispy Roman Guanciale didn’t make you satiated. It’s the Guanciale that worked the magic, enhancing the carbonara’s taste!
The spaghetti Alle Vongole in a white wine broth was a good alternative.
The signature tiramisu was also yummy. The only thing that I could pick on was the holes on the side of the tiramisu. It would be better if they weren’t there 😊
