剛在港島做完野,朋友建議食日本菜,用手機搜尋了一下然後揀左呢間小店一試,貪的就是地方細而且位於寧靜一角,可以安靜放鬆咁食飯,其實對香港人黎講唔易。餐廳有一個對街的大窗可以打開,現在秋涼非常通風,爽。午餐提供的set都是丼,朋友分別點了燒鰻魚丼及雜錦刺身定食,我就唔想食飯,所以點左主menu的菜色,分別點到花魚一夜干及幾樣串燒,由於餐廳做緊推廣,所以我們一行三人點左半打生蠔(一隻$10)生蠔肉甜,肉質飽滿,有淡淡海水味,非常抵食。燒鰻魚丼,鰻魚肉厚,醬汁濃度合適,咬起來仍有肉汁,火喉控制得宜。雜錦魚生定食,有成七款魚生,款款新鮮,魚生厚切,超仁之選只係$158。花魚一夜干,經典日式菜,穩定高質,唔想食飯,配杯酒就一流,不過餐廳暫時未有酒牌,要飲的暫時要自己帶黎。總括黎講,抵食有質素小店,西營盤又一小確幸,九龍區都有多d就好。

是日點了幾個招牌菜,有軟殼蟹沙律、三文魚卷、蝦天婦羅卷、煎花魚、唐揚雞...
軟殼蟹沙律都處於室溫狀況。蟹炸完之後都不覺得油膩,粉漿都薄薄的, 加上底層酸酸的醋提升食慾,的確是餐前不錯的選擇。
而那兩個卷對比的話,
三文魚卷會比較性價比高,上面都有魚油脂,加上飯卷沒有一夾即散的情況,食起來挺有鮮味。
但天婦羅蝦卷就比較簡單,吃起來比較普通.......

We usually dine around the area in 123 street and found this space when we drove around.My background of yakitori comes from eating restaurants like yardbird, shiba, 南蠻亭, toritama and etc.. We tried the skewers(chicken wing, corn, pork, beef ribs), soft shell crab roll, fried chicken bone cartilage as basis for review.In short, the restaurant is not good and not ready to serve customers. A few of yakitori skewers were lukewarm(like coming out of microwave) and the crab avacado roll looks like it

We usually dine around the area in 123 street and found this space when we drove around.

My background of yakitori comes from eating restaurants like yardbird, shiba, 南蠻亭, toritama and etc..

We tried the skewers(chicken wing, corn, pork, beef ribs), soft shell crab roll, fried chicken bone cartilage as basis for review.

In short, the restaurant is not good and not ready to serve customers. A few of yakitori skewers were lukewarm(like coming out of microwave) and the crab avacado roll looks like it uses non sashimi rice/warm rice. One of the pcs broke apart once I picked it up...
Good thing we didn’t order sushi.

Some suggestions...

2) Fix the lights, too bright for an izakaya
3) Get better chefs (esp the one who made the roll) and serve hot food

西營盤啲餐廳愈開愈多,今次喺第二期既轉角位就搵到間新既日本菜!試左店員推介嘅黑咖哩,佢話店內嘅黑咖哩唔辣,用咗墨魚汁同龍蝦汁製成,食落真係有海鮮味,同出邊嘅搭咖哩飯好唔同,而且炸雞份量都幾多,唔錯!七色刺身丼就咩都有,而且都幾大碗,如果唔想食熱食都可以考慮。我哋另外叫左炸軟殻蟹沙律同炸雞軟骨,軟殼蟹嘅份量比想像中多,而且唔會炸得過火,肉質唔錯,如果唔係太餓既女士一個都夠!總括嚟講,西營盤普遍都係比較多西餐廳,而且佢日本菜來講都算選擇幾多,所以一班人食都唔錯!

Sai Ying Pun is a lovely place, you will find many historical buildings.

The menu during and day and night are different and I chose to visit during the day as they have donburis and I love the flexibility as they have Chirashi donburi where you can pick what you want instead of fixed items.

The black curry is worth ordering but it was a bit different to what I was expecting because they said it was fruity with apple.
Although it tasted good, I felt that it tasted like Leek Curry as the leek was more prominent.
The vegetable tempura was perfectly golden.

今天和Juno 放假,我們很喜歡在西營盤覓食,走呀走,突然在第二街看到一間新開的東鮨居酒屋,我們不由自主地走進去!地方不大,但有一種大阪居酒屋的感覺,而且Menu 有2夲!我們叫了美國的生蠔,太抵了,祇不過10元一隻,我們叫了半打,不但肥美而且很鮮味,我們一下子叫光光了!我們叫了一個刺身沙律,想不到的很足料而且份量很大,而且有很多吞拿三文魚粒粒,拌在爽口的沙律菜上,我們覺得太好味了,終於多叫一個,真的很有水準!人手盛很特別是厨師用上當天新鮮運來的食材,不同的刺身及時令魚,另外分別有壽司飯及紫菜,自己包成壽司,更具特色,我們最欣賞的是自己包的海膽壽司,真的很鮮味!芝麻雞翼很香口,而且熱辣辣!我們兩個女孩子又過了快樂的一個晚上!

I stumble upon Azuma when I was walking around looking for food they just open and are offering some decent price for their Lunch set.When I walk-in the environment gave me a cozy home environment.I order the Chirashi Don, I was glad that the rice was not stone cold, and both the fish and the rice are in their optimal temperature.I would recommended anyone at Western district to come and have a look since they are newly open and are offering all types of promotion such as no service charge.
