自命係牛魔王既我,一聽到牛扒就會雙眼發光可以話得上係牛扒專家HAHAxddd第一次黎宜間餐廳,感覺幾特別。餐廳既設計同裝修令人彷如置身於酒窘之中!!~一道好既Starter永遠令人有深刻既印象…亦都影響對main course 既感覺!!!今次個starter絕對令我一試難忘!!!<3個湯不但有濃濃既忌廉味,而且仲有好多磨姑粒,每一啖湯都口感豐原,真係好足料!!!!至於Main course,我就點了Rib Eye,五成熟,有手掌咁大,夠厚又鬆軼,算係唔錯!再加上一杯酸酸甜甜既mango mocktial,一洗滿腔牛扒既油膩,好清新!!不過...好可惜...下星期就係最後一星期了...黎緊宜間餐廳要搬遷了!!!!

今次個starter絕對令我一試難忘!!!<3
個湯不但有濃濃既忌廉味,而且仲有好多磨姑粒,每一啖湯都口感豐原,真係好足料!!!!
至於Main course,我就點了Rib Eye,五成熟,有手掌咁大,夠厚又鬆軼,算係唔錯!再加上一杯酸酸甜甜既mango mocktial,一洗滿腔牛扒既油膩,好清新!!

The atmsphere of the restaurant  is pretty romantic - a bit dark and with nice decor, even though I have to admit that there is a HUGE ROOM for improvement on their selection of music, I mean pop tunes is a weird choice for such setting.

Back to the FOOD. Food here is always super yummmmmyyyyyy that keeps me wanting more. It's nothing fancy, but you can see and taste the efforts of the chef. Plus, being marketed at quite a reasonable price point, there is not much to complain about.

First first first, we ordered the Pan Fried Foie Gras with Bell Peppers Salad, which is always my first choice for appetizer here! Apology that I forgot to take a food porn for the dish as I was starving and the dish made my mouth water like crazy.

Moving on, we had the Organic Two Styles Risotto, which was YUMMMMMMMMMM. So on the left side that was the organic risotto with vegetable salsa - as it was pan fried a bit, it gave that cripsy texture on top of the refreshing flavor, pretty interesting. On the right side that was the mushroom risotto with 36 month parmasen cheese - I MUCH PREFER THIS ONE as it was so rich and so flavorful. Omg thinking about it makes my mouth water already.

Apparently, we were not satisfied after just one risotto, so we went on to have MORE. Following the risotto, the French Halibut came - cooked in a pot with broth and vegetable, it's pretty light and the fish was very tender and moist! Definitely worth a try!

Finally, for my muscle's sake, beef is inevitable. We thus ordered the Grilled USA Black Angus Rib Eye (10 oz). Rib Eye is really the basic dish that if a restaurant screws it, the restaurant is a no no no. And of course, Basement didn't, probably never will! The rib eye was perfectly done, medium rare - I got exactly what I asked for! Nice dish, no complaint!

Plus drinks, the dinner costs around HK$500 per head, extremely reasonable considering the food and the environment as a package! As for service, the waiters are very extremely helpful and very local (meaning not pretentious at all)! Nice dinning experience as always!

Sides: 薯角拼蒜蓉沙拉醬,超好吃!! 炒雜菜也不錯。 
甜品: 朋友買來的生日蛋糕~ 切餅費$100
總結:餐牌沒有太多選擇,只有主菜和sides值得一試。

呢個係今晚最正的食物,海膽蟹子 risotto... 勁足料,海膽同蟹子仲有好多切得好細的蔬菜,滿滿的蔬菜令到 risotto 唔會好濟,蔬菜同海膽令到佢好鮮甜,而且每一口都有蟹子,個口感好得意!!!!

這個真的是蘿拔妹喝過最好喝的Mushroom Soup!沒有騙你的!喝一口已經感受到超濃的松露香(真的是Truffle的味道!),湯底滿有奶香,濃稠適中,而且每一淡還有超級多的雜菌粒,很有口感。不消幾分鐘,這個Mushroom Soup已經完全被蘿拔妹消滅,因為真的太好喝了!

肉眼排上桌的時候真的令人滿心歡喜!因為很多餐廳的所謂“Grilled”其實只是簡單煎熟,但Basement的牛排不但有濃濃的燒烤香氣,而且牛排面的燒烤格仔條紋鮮明,漂亮非常!愛生肉的蘿拔妹點了Medium rare,生熟處理得不錯,蘿拔妹的那份中間呈現粉紅,帶點血水。另外同事叫的6成和7成也是對版的。值得贊的是這份牛排完全無筋,肉質鬆軟,每一口都有濃濃的牛肉味,表皮經烤過香而不焦!真的比起很多餐廳標榜以dry-aged處理的牛排更為出色!

旁邊的沙律配上蜜糖dressing,味道是頗新鮮的,而且沙律的甜酸更能解掉肉類的飽膩感。唯一可以挑剔的是薯角炸得不脆啊,要不然這道菜真的是滿分了!還有是碟子真的有點小,牛排跟配菜已經occupied整個碟的area,開頭切的時候有機會將食物推到桌上。

看到附近食客都在想用這一客小巧的綠色甜品,原來是跟lunch set的甜品!綠茶味是非常非常自然的香濃,帶點微澀,完全中了蘿拔妹的口味!Panna Cotta非常滑,而且入口即溶,這麼一小杯真的不夠!但又一次是關於utensils的問題 – Panna Cotta怎麼會給我們用叉吃?叉把奶凍濃散之餘又不能輕易送進嘴裡,奇怪哦。

世事總不是完美的,House Brew Coffee賣相精緻,但味道酸之餘還有點燶味!喝了半杯覺得太難喝所以放棄了。

每人只是185元能夠享用這份高質素牛排,而且環境熟悉,服務態度還不錯!
噢,已經開始想念這份牛排了!

我比較矛盾, 愛吃甜品, 又不喜歡過甜。
雪芭入口幼滑, 杏仁汁濃而不膩, 兩者配合恰到好處,
值得一讚是盛載的器皿端出來的時候是凍的,
直至吃完一刻仍有一定涼意。
作為一道甜品絕不馬虎, 為一頓晚餐添上完美句號。

 
Other Info. : 撇除$100的開瓶費, 二人用膳約$450左右, 吃到相當水準的西餐很合理, 值得一試。

每月二十號必定好好的吃餐「豪飯」來寵一寵我的愛人。輪到這第十四次,本想到灣仔碼頭那邊吹吹海風、「歎吓」Beef rib,卻受到那邊侍應無禮的對待,心想與其貼錢買難受倒不如乾脆改去試試我倆最愛逛的Homeless旗下的Basement Restaurant。因為店內實在太有情調太暗了所以照片有點模糊。剛坐下,店員隨即就奉上餐牌,同時也端來了暖暖的餐包,隨包上桌還有鮮牛油、橄欖油和意大利黑醋。麵包值得一讚,麵包又香又暖,其中一個的表面佈滿了豐富的芝麻,牛油非常甘香軟滑,很久沒有吃過這麼棒的餐包了,絕對是一個難忘的開始。本身就是Homeless Fans的我們,在Basement Restaurant那像防空洞的偏廳我們能夠坐在Homeless的型格桌椅上,燭光之中,長長木餐桌上放的盡是Homeless的餐具和俄羅斯娃娃、牆上還有Homeless的掛牆鐘、天花燈、…一切一切都讓人流連忘返,酒不醉人人自醉。羊架和Risotto是同時間上枱,一碟三件的羊架配上伴碟的小蕃茄、燒洋蔥,當然還附上必有的黃芥末和薄荷啫喱。Roasted Australian Rack of Lamb ($285)不假思

不假思索,我們要了七成熟的羊架,肉質煎的恰恰好,羊肉切開仍然是那誘人的鮮粉紅色。這裡的羊架味道本身已經頗濃郁,烹調時似乎只用了少許調味,因此入口時羊味仍然芳香,羊架帶少許肥油,比起坊間的西餐廳要甘香,即使配上一羹黃芥末或薄荷啫喱入口,羊味仍然力壓所有的副調味料。

羊架的肉質比牛扒稍為鬆化卻有點「鞋口」而不夠鮮嫩,除了羊架本身來貨可能較遜色而導致肉質入口不佳,過生或是太熟外,羊架其實很難烹調的不好吃,這雖然不是我在香港吃過最難忘的羊架,但如果十分滿分我也會給它八分,其中一分扣了在羊架份量較少,大大一隻碟只有三件,兩個人也分不勻。

令人一試難忘的便是接下來的兩個大驚喜。

意大利飯‧海膽‧煙魚子($165) 的醬汁非常香濃,香氣四溢,Risotto以石頭鍋奉上,保溫能力佳而賣相討好,令人食指大動。海膽一如所聞,一入口即感受到那份震撼的感覺,海膽味非常出位,與吸味的意大利飯已經融為一體,海膽非以「真身」示人但每一口飯都充滿了濃郁的海膽味!海膽令整個意大利飯色澤橙紅,味道極為鮮甜。

Risotto用了香蔥去煮,意大利米的味道仍然存在,飯粒粒分明,軟硬適中,飯的汁亦收得剛剛好,故吃來特別彈牙有嚼勁口感煙韌。煙魚子更能帶出海膽的鮮味、飯上的醃蘿蔔潰物…神奇的是雖然以上種種食材都非常濃味,卻沒有誰被遺忘、沒有誰喧賓奪主,反而與海膽的鮮味合而為一,所有愛海膽的食家一定會非常滿足!

包括有抹茶奶凍、忌廉芝士餅、焦糖mocha慕思、軟心朱古力和紅桑子配藍莓伴雲喱拿雪糕。

精緻小巧的五個甜品由一塊長長的木版奉上,氣勢堂皇,喜慶節日時還可以要求店員在上面幫你用朱古力寫上你的心底話!

當中以抹茶奶凍和忌廉芝士餅最令我難忘!抹茶奶凍的茶香十分芳香,沒有半點苦味,十分容易入口;奶凍的質地非常軟滑,一碰它就「震騰騰」又彈又Q,放了十分鐘仍然沒有溶化的跡象,Basement Restaurant也可說是烹調奶凍的高手。這兒的芝士餅是雪出來而非焗出來的芝士蛋糕,忌廉芝士暗甜而軟身,芝士味郁郁,配以牛油餅碎做底,冰冰凍凍十分討喜!

五分滿分是給那令人迷戀的海膽,還有這防空洞內的情調。
