每次lunch都要排隊排到店外面可能是這間店的缺點吧。從十二點半左右到一點都是人滿為患,所以想吃覺醒自助餐的要留意,可以選擇外帶。自助餐小心叫得太多,平均消費五十元左右,可是食物味道很好,湯不怕多喝,沒有味精,熱騰騰的感覺很好,暖胃。自己最喜歡的是豆腐前菜,入口有點偏鹹,送法包(自帶)或者飯都很不錯,冰涼滑溜,必要之選。自助餐期間會定時加菜,而且款式很多,有咖哩中菜任君選擇,還有一些點心類的甜品。在繁忙時段在一念找到位置很有成功感,哈哈,在centennial campus上課的話,很常去的地方。(在主校園的話就是cafe330)

Plant-based diet is becoming more common and it’s happy to find vegetarian restaurants in universities. Apart from taking care of vegetarian students and teaching staff, vegetarian restaurants also provide healthy and environment-friendly options to non-vegetarians. Bijas Vegetarian Restaurant charges by weight - we can choose what to eat and decide how much to have. After taking what we need, we can put the dish on the electronic scale to check the weight. There are vegetables, tofu, fried dim sum and Chinese desserts on the buffet table. While they charge $16 per 100g, the portion in the photo cost around $30. Unlimited amount of rice and soup are provided so that everyone can get take the amount they need. Please remember to return the utensils after your meal to reduce the workload of staff.

要去HKU聽嘢,但要先先醫肚。自從上次係港大中過一次大伏之後,就決定要小心揀嘢食。行過見到呢間一念素食都好似唔錯,雖然我本身都唔特別鍾意食素,但都決定一試。入到去發現好特別嘅點菜形式,入到去好似平時啲人咁自助餐咁自選你想食嘅餸,選擇都好多,而且賣相好吸引,我又揀左豆腐、南乳粗齋、腐皮卷、菜等等,之後就行去計重量,按重量去收錢,但我呢對重量毫無概念,揀揀下之下,原來都揀左$50嘅餸。第一下覺得有點貴,但其實都還可接受。因為另一個特點係飯、中湯同熱茶係自助形式,食幾多自己添幾多,飯應該落左啲糙米,中湯完全無味精,超級健康。講返味道,啲餸質素好好,我重食左差唔多兩碗飯,以前成日覺得食素唔好食,但今次食飯令我有很好的體驗。

係香港大學醫學院既餐廳同瑪麗醫院飯堂食得多,自然懷念百週年主校園既"一念素食"。service 殷勤、有禮、主動。環境又舒服、優雅、有禪意,聽著音樂,很多煩惱也暫時放下。食物味道亦不差,而且非常 value for money. breakfast set 同afternoon tea set 竟然仲可以$30以下就有交易喎,今時今日,抵到爛既價錢仲有乜可以投訴吖???!!!反而呢,甘好氣氛,又抵食,感恩都嚟唔切啦!!!

夜晚放工,到港島同好友食飯朋友在金鐘放工想食清清地,諗返之前有人介紹過HKU 有間自助素食,都想去試試去到HKU, 好多學生放學好彩行到去一念素食人多但我們都搵到位坐我們研究一下,原來素菜是按重量計錢,飯同湯就任添。素菜款式雖然不算很多,但都有十多款我差不多每款都夾少少試試夾完去量重俾錢一共口五十元🙈🙈之後去舀湯同飯都是自助的今日是紅蘿蔔木瓜湯好清無味精好多粒粒紅蘿蔔飯是白米加紅米,好健康至於素菜呢最喜歡那件鮮竹卷包得好好,包著甘荀絲、木耳絲、蘿蔔絲,又多汁特意夾了甜品:芝麻糕同煎堆仔見有個外國人夾了大半盒我又想試下芝麻糕口感一般煎堆仔比較好內有芝麻花生餡,幾好食整體而言,素菜都不錯有機會都會再來

Good to have a vegan choice on campus. Bijas is a choice when you feel like eating healthy and you got some money. The buffet is enjoyable but weights the dishes and it easily goes over $70-80

好耐冇試過食完一頓晚飯係會感恩的。香港素食選擇話多唔多,話少唔少。大部份素食餐廳只提供中式菜,而且偏油膩,好多炸物。相較下一念素食嘅菜就取中庸之道喇!星期六晚上沒有學生,大多是遊客或附近居民用餐,但係餸菜嘅選擇仍然有好多,今日仲有特別做嘅燒賣!最開心今日餐湯係菜乾紅蘿蔔微豆湯,菜乾味好出好香,我都飲咗兩碗!加埋有我最喜歡嘅紫米露糖水,實在好幸運🍀餸有腐皮卷、南瓜豆卜、涼拌大豆芽、翠玉瓜炒麵筋等,喜歡一念素食用好多不同豆類製品伴菜, 配紅糙米口感十足!每次到一念素食晚餐後,都覺得心靈被洗滌了,希望香港其他地方多啲提供同樣素食啦!

上完CPD 的堂總會九秒九衝到下一層的Bijas 食個自助午餐,份量同價錢適隨尊便,你夾幾重就收返你幾錢,口渴的話可以飲佢哋嗰啲無咪精的素湯,再唔是就加幾蚊要杯豆槳或其他特飲。有啲人話Bijas 的午餐貴,實情是第一食Bijas 的人往往唔知各種餸的重量、心大心細之下夾到成碟都是餸,,而我以前差唔多日日都喺度食,食慣咗就知道自己夠飽的份量,而我大多會夾到30 幾蚊的份量,所以總括而言仲便過你食cafe 360,Swire 的Ebenezer 或出面果間阿元來了啦。30 幾蚊有紅米飯、湯同埋幾個無味精又唔鹹的餸,HKU算是咁啦。

一念素食絕對係讀大學時最喜愛嘅食堂,百周年校舍開幕以來,陸續開設不同社企小店,而一念更係HKU首間提供純素嘅食店。店內嘅椅子都係從學校回收來再翻生重用的,裝飾也是用棄置的廢物再合成一件又一件獨一無二的擺設。雖然佢坐位真係算少,碰上翻學日子午餐時段必定坐無虛席,不過下午茶或晚餐時間,通常都有位,不用等太久。介紹番佢最聞名嘅覺醒自助餐先,午餐11:30-2:00,晚餐5:30-9:00。午餐選擇的確會較多,而且餸嘅味道會偏濃烈,而晚餐有時也會有炸春捲或腐皮捲,不過要看運氣。自助餐形式是先拿一隻碟,把想要的菜式夾上去,通常有十二道餸,例如:茄子、蕃茄豆卜、南瓜等,亦有一些點心,例如:燒賣、冬瓜捲、雜菜餃等。選好菜後就磅重俾錢,食幾多夾幾多!現時價錢是:$16/100g,香草紅米飯和素清湯是任裝的,學生時代的確覺得一念頗貴,但出來工作後就覺得$50-60可以吃到如此別緻而且用心做嘅食材,認為絕對值得!如果香港多啲食店都選用磅重形式,絕對可以減少浪費,而且每人都可以更加瞭解自己真正食量需求,避免眼闊肚窄。
