非貼地價位,但吃過后會發現每份$768 是物有所值。首先賣相充滿壓台感,除了巨型龍蝦外,其餘的配菜色彩繽紛,令人挑起食慾。
同様以來自加拿大龍蝦,
大廚做這道菜也是別出心裁,運用了牛油及多種香草烤焗開邊龍蝦,但香味略蓋過龍蝦本身的鮮香,反而龍蝦鉗部分則保留原來們鮮甜,肉質細嫩,非常不俗。

原來不只是龍蝦,連藍青口也是來自加拿大,我很少吃加拿大青口,似乎比歐洲貨稍為大粒,而最值得一提的是個汁料,十分香滑,用來蘸法包就最適合了。

店子以Open Kitchen形式設計,食客便可以看到廚師處理龍蝦的過程了。

全隻加拿大龍蝦,一個人肯定吃不完,三個人分就剛剛好。龍蝦明顯用上大量的牛油、蒜蓉和香草去焗,香氣十足,蒜味尤其突出,而蝦肉上又鋪了不少麵包糠,目的是令肉質鬆化,但個人認為重手了些,如果麵包糠略為減少,效果會更好,如果要我評分,我會給這道龍蝦八分。

這店的價錢略為進取,總體而言,食物水準尚可,我仍頗欣賞這店的用心,專心做龍蝦和海鮮,加上不錯的酒品,這店應該可成為一些人的蘭桂坊「私竇」。

ordered oyster rockefeller, whole lobster, lobster bisque, foie gras, lobster roll (2 pcs), lobster sliders (4 pcs), salmon shared between 5 personsbeware that there are only 3 tables in the restaurant so book early if you plan to dine here. the only thing i want to mention is that the preparation time is waaaaay too long and our dinner lasted nearly 3 hours which is very odd given the small capacity in the restaurantgreat service with detailed explanation of the dishes and recommendation. food

Bisque is a classy lobster and champagne fine dining restaurant located just at the bottom hill of Lan Kwai Fong. The dining area has 4 cozy round tailor made wooden table with a super chilled champagne bucket. On the other side, you may enjoy a few drinks on the terrace of building, overlooking the buzzing Lan Kwai Fong, the heart of this prosperous beautiful city, Hong Kong. A new cocktail menu has recently been in place to pair with the lobsters and other seafood items on the food menu.

Baked raspberry point oysters $430/6pc

Bisque stopped serving raw oysters but these baked freshly shucked oysters were just as good. We started with this sweeter and creamier oysters topped with Philippine mango, tomato concassé, mixed peppers, purple onions and fresh cilantro topped with a Parmesan white wine béchamel. The topping was really cheesy and creamy, yet not too overpowering.

Then some more Atlantic oysters topped with original recipe of fresh herbs, parsley and garlic butter, baked until golden. The sauce in this oyster is a bit sour like the Italian dressing, with a strong mixed herb flavour. The fresh oysters were plumped and juicy, not a bad way to start our meal with!

Classic lobster bisque $98/cup , $220/bowl

The signature dish from the restaurant prepared by using only lobster head, meat and shell and it takes 2 days to prepare with 9 hours cooking with some fresh cream. Then using a big blender imported from Spain to blend 3 times until very smooth before sifting until very fine. Finish with a little bit extra cream at the end. The very rich and heavy soup was serves with a piece of buttery toasted bread, poached lobster claws, and creme fraiche.

Pan seared US jumbo scallops $370

The al dente linguine pasta served with black truffle, fresh Italian parsley and sugar peas in a heavy, buttery and creamy sauce. A few truffle was being used including some grind truffle, truffle pieces and some truffle oil drizzled all over before serving. The serving size was pretty generous because the dishes at Bisque is meant for sharing.

Whole fresh New Brunswick lobster approx. 1 3/4 lbs live weight $768

Brunswick lobster tasted slightly different from Boston lobsters with a softer texture and a lighter sea water taste in my opinion. You may choose either steamed or grilled and we have chosen the latter one which is grilled with fresh herbs and garlic butter. Besides, there was quite a few choices for sided veggies including baby corns, snow peas, cream spinach, tomatoes on vines, and young beautifully roasted golden brown potatoes.

The lobsters had been grilled until perfection with the flesh being pulled right off the shell easily. The whole piece was covered in garlic, herbs and a layer of crumbly bread crumbs to create a nice golden crunch on the surface. The very on-point roasted young potatoes were another highlight of the dish with an aromatic peppery rosemary flavour rushing through the buttery and powdery texture of the starch.

Vanilla peach & apple crumble $98

It then came to the end of our meal with a sweet finish. A bowl of crumble goodness prepared with a mixed of fruits including green apple, peaches, bing cherries with vanilla essence, topped with a layer of oat based crumble crust, served with some fresh sweet pouring cream on the side. The tartness from the cherries complimented nicely with the sweet finish from the soft peaches, not too sweet but you may still find the slightly burnt caramelised flavour from the sugar.

Double espresso

Nothing beats a good cup of espresso after a very satisfying meal. The aromatic cup was served with a cute little piece of chocolate biscotti, just a beautiful finish to a fancy dining experience.

喺London食過burger & Lobster之後, 一直想喺香港搵間類似嘅餐廳回味下, 所以就嚟咗呢度。不過其實佢似一間bar 多過餐廳, 所有枱全部都好細張, 我地四個人坐得好迫,如果淨係飲嘢就冇問題, 但食晚飯嘅話, 舒適度就一般喇。一坐底朋友就喺drink list揀咗支西班牙出產嘅白酒, 個樽係青綠色有d花紋 (唔記得影相), 聞落去好香果味, 飲一啖, 味道淡淡地好易入口, 好多白酒都好酸, 但呢支唔會, 襯生蠔就啱哂。我地叫咗半打raspberry point 加三隻pickled point生蠔, 知道佢地主打唔係生蠔, 所以都冇咩期望, 果然不出我所料, 食落覺得唔係好新鮮, 所以食完兩隻當試咗就算喇!因為有朋友唔食生蠔, 所以另外叫咗三隻baked raspberry point, 我食咗一隻, 又估唔到加咗D TOPPINGS再焗一焗幾好味噃~~之後我地每人叫咗一碗龍蝦湯, 每碗都有一支竹簽吉住一舊龍蝦肉, 肉質好鮮甜, 個湯又熱辣辣。試過喺其他地方飲過好咸同好腥嘅龍蝦湯, 呢個真係好唔同, 一D腥味都冇, 味道仲啱啱好添!!飲完個湯, 支酒都飲得7788,

We started with a Classic Lobster Bisque , AUTHENTIC ! I have always been a lobster bisque lover, but I have never tried anything like this before! I savoured every mouthful. To taste the luscious , creamy , lobster goodness! I should have order a Bowl instead of a Cup! Couldn’t get enough of it.
We have a party of 4 and ordered 2 mains for sharing which were Whole Fresh New Brunswick Lobster and Seared Line Caught Skiplack Tuna Fillet. For the Brunswick Lobster we opt for Classic steamed with melted butter dip. The portions were huge. The Whole Fresh New Brunswick Lobster are highly recommended! We decided to enjoy the original taste of the Lobster and since it is fresh , we figured that classic steamed will allow us to savour the original taste of it. And we were right! Since the lobsters are so fresh , in the end we totally skipped the butter dip.
We are almost full by the time we finished the mains but we heard their desserts are home made . Hence we ordered a few for sharing ! The deserts are not in the menu. Thus we asked the very experience restaurant manager to advise us on what are available. Their service is excellent ! As the restaurant has about 4-5 tables , you will always have your waitress there by your side serving you. Not like the usual restaurant which is too crowded and noisy. A great place for intimate party and small gathering. We ended up with HOMEMADE Coconut Ice Cream, Chocolate Ice Cream, Apple crumble & Banana pancake. There is always space for desserts!
Definitely a must go place for seafood lovers! Oh next time , I am definitely going to order a BOWL OF CLASSIC LOBSTER BISQUE instead of a cup! haha

The next step I gonna decide what to eat. Friends told me that here the most famouse dish is the lobster. Great, I am a lobster lover. But before that, I still like to check out their full menu and see what else on. Actaully lots of food looks nice and I really don't know what to choose. Fresh lobster always give you a extra sweet taste, comes with creamy cheese, I think there are nothing can beat it. And you know what is the most surprise me, it is the price , pretty reasonal for having a 5 star hotel taste lobster in Hong Kong.

After bored of regular Italian food and you also look for some new taste and excitment for your stomach, this place really worth come and try....    This is definately a 5 thumb expereince...  Next time I gonna ask all my girlfriends come back and try more dishes lol...

The first thing to know about Bisque is that it's very small in size. Booking is a must otherwise you're likely to be disappointed. My girlfriend and I were very lucky to get squeezed in on a Friday but we had to book the earliest slot available (6:30) as it gets very busy after that. There are only three tables but they are all very comfortable and spacious. The seating consists of a stylish curved sofa for each table that easily fits 5 or 6 people. 

From my perspective, the art style and lighting was fantastic. It really made me feel relaxed and at ease despite spending most of my day rushing around in the heat of Hong Kong. All the colors and decorations felt cohesive and well designed, it gave a luxurious feeling which I think is what one wants from a high class Lobster and Champagne bar. The music volume was perfect, providing atmosphere but not being too distracting. At times some of the music could feel a little out of place but it seemed a very minor issue to me.

Bisque boasts a number of high quality wines and champagne. As there were just two of us we did not want to order a full bottle of champagne making the Hendrik Camphus the only option. We had a glass each and found it to be excellent so I can't wait to bring more people to try the others.

To begin with, we ordered two starters to share: The mini lobster sliders and the lobster bisque. The lobster sliders came recommended as Bisque's signature dish and it's easy to see why. They were incredible. Each slider was packed with lobster meat and the sauce that came with it was delightful. It had a tiny amount of spiciness which I personally loved and went really well with the lobster. The salad at the bottom of the buns was also very fresh. The salad can often get overlooked when put in a burger or slider and I am happy to say that this is not the case at Bisque. Honestly, the sliders are so good that I would come back to Bisque for them alone.

Next up was the lobster bisque. I was pleasantly surprised by how much lobster meat there was in it. I've had quite a few lobster bisque over the years and have come to expect just a few small pieces at the bottom. Bisque's adaptation blew me away. It came with two large chunks of lobster including a sizable part of the tail. The soup itself was delicious, very creamy and savory. In my opinion another standout dish from Bisque.

For our main course we ordered the Whole Fresh New Brunswick lobster. We had the classic steamed with melted butter variant and this was another excellent dish. The lobster came on a huge platter with everything sliced up and presented artfully. There was also a wide assortment of potatoes and vegetables that came with the dish. I can be a little lazy at times so I really appreciated the way that the lobster was prepared as all the meat was very accessible. Getting the meat out of a lobster can sometimes take a lot of effort and there was the full set of tools for dealing with a lobster including the cracker and special forks but to be honest they were barely needed. The butter sauce that came with the dish was also quite nice as it gave a hint of flavor to the lobster but not too much as to be overpowering or detract from its natural taste.

What I liked most about this dish was just how fresh the lobster was. I spent several years in the Boston and Maine area where lobsters get caught and served on the same day and I have to say that Bisque is the first restaurant in Hong Kong that has impressed me with the freshness of their lobster. I'm not sure about their sourcing or how they manage to keep the lobster so fresh but its something you can really feel as you pick it off the shell. I wholeheartedly recommend this dish.

Unfortunately at this point we were so incredibly full that my girlfriend and I did not have any more room for the desert. The miniature cocktail cupcakes sound incredibly nice however and I look forward to trying them when I come back.

All in all I had a wonderful experience at Bisque and this is now my go to place anytime I want lobster. Whilst Bisque isn't each cheap, the price for what you get is very reasonable especially in comparison to other restaurants in the Central/Soho area. The main thing to bear in mind is that seating is limited and it fills up quickly. 

Other Info. : I don't know if this issue has been fixed in the week since I was last there but the restaurant location on the openrice map is a little off and actually points to Wing Wah Lane instead of 1 Lan Kwai Fong. I mentioned this to the owner and he is aware of it and waiting for Openrice to update it.

For the main course, Whole Fresh New Brunswick Lobster in Hong Kong ‘Typhoon Shelter’ Style. And omg! The lobsters were so juicy and the taste is a pleasure to my taste bud. I am convinced that it was the best lobster I have ever had. I wasn't a big fan of lobster, but this dish has made me fell in love. The serving size is quite big too, it filling enought for two people. This is, for me, an absolute must-try!

For the drinks, we ordered two glasses of Hendrik Camphus Champagne. For bottled, there are more to choose from, but Hendrik Camphus is the only option for glass. I'm not an expert in Champagne, yet I could still tell it's quite a smooth and sweety Champagne, which is easy for a girl like me.


Overall, we had a great time dining there. It is unfortunate that I didn't take many photos due to the dim lighting of the place, but I'd definitely go again, and try different kinds of lobsters, and take more pictures!

These were surprisingly good because the lobster meat was springy and sweet paired with this sauce that was spicy and delicious.

For the mains we had new brunswick lobsters a la wenberg, lobster pieces in creamy brandy sauce on top of butter toasted brioche.

餐廳係美麗華集團旗下主打餐廳,難怪裝修咁高貴典雅,小妹真係非常鍾意依度.

咁講返食物方面,食左好多樣野都唔錯,但最有印象係我同另外女仔朋友一齊食左個Mini lobster sliders,個麵包係輕微烘過嫁,所以出黎暖暖地,幾好食.同行朋友雖然覺得唔夠食,但我又覺得岩岩好.三個漢堡仔,每舊一隻小龍蝦,龍蝦肉用牛油蒸過,好好味呀

近來大熱既呢樹。睇樓上勁多人黎食咁我都同幾個朋友黎試下。店面不太。一入門口一眼睇曬。只有幾張馬蹄梳化同一行吧枱位。閒日既晚上竟然剩最後近門既一張梳化。一行四人冇理由排排坐。咁就坐呢樹啦。四人剛好。每枱都有個冰櫃位真係設計過。方便客人開酒。諗野食之前梗係開枝香檳飲住先。Hendrik Camphus呢枝夠爽身。啱曬而家出面三十幾度既天氣。氣泡豐富。就算過左個幾鐘都仲keep到。除左龍蝦之外仲有生蠔。咁當然要叫黎試下。生蠔係Fine De Claire 係No. 3 。個子小小但係都算飽滿。裙邊同蠔身都爽身。帶子位咬落更係鮮甜。法國既海水同提子汁唔知係咪有特既化學作用嫁呢?令香檳既層次係更加豐富熟成既味道更加突出。熟蠔用上左coffin bay。面層係焗到香脆既芝士。加上芒果同蕃茄。酸甜味令海水咸度變得有趣多了。蠔身受熱收縮之後。更有爆炸性。一壓落去蠔汁爆滿成個口。龍蝦三步曲開始。先黎既係小漢堡。夠龍蝦肉夠大件。個包都蓋唔住就跌出黎咁。用上千島醬同蕃茄既酸配合包既微甜。令帶海水咸味既龍蝦肉味道更加立體。龍蝦用厚身。爽彈之餘每每係係咬下去既時候散出香甜之味。一個真係唔多夠喉。有龍蝦又點可以冇

有龍蝦又點可以冇龍蝦湯。店員話呢個龍蝦湯係只用上龍蝦同水制作。用上兩整天既時間將佢濃縮成湯。第一口飲落係海水般既咸。再而係帶粉既質感。分半再入口。在口水稀釋之後係咸味輕了。嚐到海洋既鮮味。用香檳洗刷一下味蕾。再一口係更形象化既味道。到咬下湯中既龍蝦肉。終於實體化到呢一種味道。而那粉粉既感覺。同你將烤透既龍蝦殻入口咬至粉碎無異。

如果用清水烚熟既龍蝦鮮味係一。用水蒸既味係二。用海水烚係五。咁呢碗湯係大約二至三十左右。重口味嗎?的確係既。但係絕對值得一試。好似我呢個分享版。足夠回味久已!

壓軸既當然要大堆頭。原隻近兩公斤既龍蝦。用上香草蒜蓉牛油去焗。未拎到埋枱香氣已經攻到黎。拎起隻鉗就知幾咁墜手。把開啲汁就滴出黎。水份保持得好。唔會焗到乾之餘。高溫令個殻既香氣充分咁散發係空氣入面。

到龍蝦尾。一叉就整條離殻拉出。新鮮得很。方候剛好。中間係有一點既糖心。鮮甜之美無語倫比。另外串茄亦唔好錯過。焗過之後水份蒸發了。香甜更濃郁了。微微既果酸更令龍蝦既鮮甜再次放大。OMG!!!

環境。食物。氣氛。俱有水準。此店必紅!
