What a delicious surprise! Shepherd’s pie, roasted halibut cooked to perfection and melt in my mouth. The beetroot salmon flat bread crust texture is well balanced. A simple focaccia bread with homemade spread is unbelievable. Save the best for last with sticky toffee pudding and vanilla ice cream - sipping black coffee with this caramelised pudding is heavenly.We hiked up The Peak in muggy foggy rain on a Sunday early afternoon! All worth it!

餐廳有點英式酒館的風味,天花上吊上一些可愛的特色吊燈,開放式廚房可以看到廚師們預備食物。餐廳近門處設有酒吧,也有戶外座位,天氣好的時候會把門全部打開,感覺更有歐洲風情。

這個超!好!食!

我強烈推薦!這裡的 Flat Bread 其實是類似中東包的變奏,不過將它攤平做得很薄,變得像薄餅一樣,原意是更適合幾個人共享。餅皮上面啡色看起來有點像肉的,其實是焦糖洋蔥,亦即是這個薄餅的靈魂,我和肉肉子都吃到停不下來!我可以吃一整盤這個洋蔥 XD。除了洋蔥上面也有三種芝士,最適合我這種芝士怪。

高溫爐薄批底,一般只需3分鐘就可以焗好,出爐之後大廚再加了一點青醬在上面,更添風味。

這個完全沒有使用動物製品,所以也是純素啊。大廚說素食者較容易吃不夠蛋白質,所以他特別用了鷹咀豆煮咖喱,這個汁吃起來就是英式的印度咖喱,不會很刺激很辣。白飯入面有加一些榖麥,上面也放了名貴香料番紅花。

大廚一定很喜歡鷹咀豆,這個漢堡也是用鷹咀豆打碎做的。餐廳特別從印度進口鷹咀豆,要先加鹽風乾過夜,才可以加其他香料製作成漢堡扒。漢堡包也很簡單,還夾了生菜和一些沙律醬汁。這個扒吃起來不會像現在流行的未來肉那麼 juicy ,質地比較乾身和實在,但吃完一定很飽。

這個餐牌上寫二人份,但應該四個人也夠吃。超香脆的餅皮當然是餐廳自己做,入面是很慷慨的蘋果,沒有切薄片是一件一件的啊,加了肉桂煮過但吃起來還帶微酸。旁邊的是店家自製的吉士醬,還有一球超香濃的雲呢拿雪糕,是個非常幸福的甜點。更有趣的是,餐廳預計客人吃不完可以帶一件回家,第二天可以繼續享受美味,好貼心啊。

We had a causal lunch at the place. We didn’t order a lot, but the waitress is still very attentive and try to help with the kids’ need (messy group!)It happens to be our dad’s bday as well, and when I ask the waitress if the happy birthday can be in Chinese, I’m not hopeful. She told me all the chefs are non-Chinese, but when she presents the brownie it’s like this! I can’t ask for more so thank you very much - you guys made our day!

100分,店員們十分友善,期間因為威靈頓牛份量太大,我地cancel甜品,店員都樂意做,而當日是朋友生日飯,餐廳最後竟然驚喜送上生日小蛋糕,十分窩心!

食物:
必定推介威靈頓牛,雖然好貴,要$888,但用料十足,牛扒被一層厚厚的黑松露包圍,超級香,外層酥皮好脆口,而最鍾意佢有個牛骨髓油令牛扒更加濃味。可惜係兩個人食真係太飽,建議3-4人食!

不過食左1件已經好飽, 第2件基本係食唔落
重要配個薯蓉
