We made our order once we seated because we already had what we wanted in mind before even coming.

Brunch club sandwich was massive. Focaccia was airy and herbed sandwiching the smoky seasoned chicken. Chicken was alright. Neither moist nor Love the gooey mozzarella for a light of creaminess. Whole sandwich was filling and not as heavy as it looks. It was served with a perfectly deep fried hash brown and a side salad.

Shashuka was served in a piping hot baking dish with a toasted sourdough (which doesn't look like sourdough but a bun). Anyway, love the combo of adding feta and avocado slices for some lightness and savouriness. Perfect to scoop the shashuka with the bread. Two eggs were cooked just right with runny yolk. A dish tasted tangy with so much flavour. Filling and hearty. Not bad.

Coming in once in a while definitely satisfying. The variety of comfort food always surprises you.

The appetiser, a seemingly simple affair, was marred by an unwelcome guest—a fly. While I understand that dining al fresco can occasionally attract these nuisances, the presence of an insect on my plate was unacceptable. It overshadowed any positive aspects of the dish and left me feeling uneasy about the restaurant’s hygiene standards.

Moving on to the dessert, I opted for the dragon fruit muse, intrigued by its vibrant color and exotic promise. Sadly, the experience soured quickly. The texture was gritty, and the flavor was reminiscent of fruit that had long since passed its prime. It tasted dusty, as if it had been sitting on a shelf for far too long, losing both its freshness and essence. Instead of a sweet finale to the meal, it felt like a chore to finish.

In summary, my dining experience was fraught with disappointments. From the dry lobster to the fly on the appetiser and the off-putting dessert, each course failed to meet basic expectations. I left the restaurant feeling unsatisfied and hesitant to return. With so many excellent dining options available, it’s hard to recommend this place when the culinary execution was so lacking. I hope they can address these issues, but for now, I cannot endorse this establishment.

They do remember their customers, and take heed of their requests and needs, and will proactively act on them, even if they can't provide help immediately! I will always remember this, and remain impressed at their team's longest customer memory!
