被認為是平民地區的深水埗,西九龍中心內有一些歷史悠久的親民餐廳。紅蔥頭 cafe MED 在我的印象中就是港式西餐廳。現在重臨舊地有一種親切感,更發現這間餐廳原來在各個角落都有熊熊的蹤影。近門口位置還看到有熊熊公仔售賣和兒童書籍可借閱。食物選擇都頗多,而且有不少套餐,像是休閒下午茶、假日套餐之類。餐飲配咖啡或茶,也可加錢轉成特飲。玫瑰花茶柚子 (+HKD 16) & 黑熊 (+HKD 18)黑熊那杯很開心,除了雪糕外,還有熊熊造型的冰,連匙羹也是熊熊,很可愛。鐵板餐本身有跟餐湯和牛油法包,另外點的餐則加了 HKD 6 來加配。是比較濃稠的忌廉湯,法包亦幾脆身。鐵板薄西冷牛扒拼雞扒 (HKD 120)上桌時聽到鐵板滋滋聲在響頗有懷念感,幸好不是配我不喜歡的三色豆 (笑)兩塊扒的都是很大的一塊,再加上豐富的薯條,吃落很飽肚。選了洋蔥汁,惹味之餘是真的有洋蔥的喱。西冷牛扒有嚼勁,牛味幾濃。但說到肉質的嫩滑度會是雞扒稍勝。烤美國安格斯煎蛋漢堡伴炸薯條 (HKD 85)麵包有稍微烤焗過,所以吃落外脆內軟都幾香,而且薯條都很脆口。安格斯牛肉肉味十分濃郁多汁,加上芝士、煎蛋等配料,是很有水準的喔。

紅蔥頭係西九龍中心已經好多年,同扒王之王一樣,充滿懷舊回憶既港式扒房~而價錢都好平民,套餐最平唔使$100,包湯、餐包飲品😽✨鐵板西冷牛扒($153)牛扒大大塊,肉質嫩滑容易咀嚼,係快餐店既質素~黑椒味道,唔會太濃太辣,配菜仲有薯條、西蘭花✨四色青口($58)四種口味青口:芝士鲜茄蓉、香草忌廉、芝士白汁、千島醬色香味俱全,青口幾大隻,而且好juicy✨心太軟(+$29)外層有脆,蛋糕軟熟,朱古力醬不太甜帶少少苦味,確實做得幾出色👍🏻👍🏻好味✨芝士肉醬千層麵($78)超多芝士鋪面,仲可以拉絲!千層麵之中夾雜大量肉醬,芝士奶味較重👍🏻

I used to wander around Dragon Centre often as I lived in the neighborhood. Today I revisited this place and a lot of new shops and restaurants have opened. Café MED is one of few old restaurants, a cozy HK style steak house with nostalgic vibes. The restaurant wasn't too packed as it wasn't dinner time yet.As a starter, we ordered escargot to share. Soft escargot, served with mashed potatoes which formed a layer of delightful crust on the sizzling plate.Gotta try their signature steaks and we picked sirloin and rib eye with black pepper sauce. The steak menu came with borscht, garlic toast and a drink. Large portions. Thick cuts. The steaks weren't over-tenderized like most local steak houses and still maintained a meaty texture. Fries were served on the side of the plate so they wouldn't become softened by soaking up the sauce and meat juice.

今日特登黎寫一寫佢個羅宋湯同蒜蓉汁,用餐時間係十月20日當晚,當晚同仔仔行完黃金電腦商場,晚上6:00就去西九搵食。仔仔想食牛扒,就咁啱係1樓電梯見到6樓的紅蔥頭餐廳的水牌。電梯到6樓就好容易見到餐廳在冒險樂園旁邊。可能時間還早,餐廳冇乜人唔洗等位。入到去分別叫左個當日晚餐牌上的鐵板西冷 同 鐵板肉眼,兩個都有跟餐湯同飲品但奇怪是配薯菜不能轉白飯或意粉所以花費$10點了一個白飯。當日餐湯是羅宋湯,入口即刻覺得好鹹,配上佢個餐飽來飲都覺得鹹。飲了兩啖後侍應姐姐收走都奇怪點解冇乜飲過,我如實答佢。牛扒汁我同仔仔都選擇了蒜蓉汁,個蒜蓉汁都係好鹹好鹹,建議因為牛扒係鐵板上,蒜蓉汁會因為燒熱的鐵板不斷蒸發,所以希望日後師傅可以造返淡口少少。
