There are also lots of food in the menu and we have more choice of food. The Korean Restaurant we had lunch is Cafe Seoul.

The good thing about about the restaurant is that the food is quite nice because it is spicy and that the food come fast. There are also lots of food in the menu and we have more choice of food. I liked the korean boneless fried chicken was the best, it was crispy and the sause was also very good, it was not to spicy and it was just right for me.
The place is quite squishy and I don’t even have much space to move my legs. The food there are Korean but if the people are also Korean and the tables and decoration are also Korean it will be so cool and it will be like we were at Korea.
I recommend this restaurant to people who likes Korean food and people who like spicy stuff. I would rate this restaurant 4 out of 5.

晚上約了舊公司的同事吃晚飯，到了大家都好想食的韓國餐廳--Cafe Seoul.原來由太和站走路過去只是10分鐘內，好近。未點餐已經送上一小碟芽菜和泡菜先讓我們享用，泡菜不辣但酸了點，可以再辣一些。之後，由於我倆都喜歡吃飯，我們點了石頭窩飯配雞肉和牛肉湯配飯，以及芝士辣醬炒年糕。石頭窩飯($55)加雞肉(+$7)的用料很充足，有好多菜，一隻蛋由於我上次在第二間餐廳沒有拌勻石頭飯，弄得下面的飯很硬，我立即就拌勻它及加上辣醬，飯都很軟熟，每一口都有材料在裏面，而且也很夠辣，好好味這個飯也配有牛肉湯，牛肉湯有少許胡椒和牛肉碎，味道清甜，牛肉很冧。而牛肉湯配飯($55)，則沒有石頭飯那麼好吃，因為我喜歡有菜的食物，但牛肉湯內有很多牛肉，可是被我的同事吃掉了很多吃到一半時，芝士炒年糕($55)到了，有很多芝士在面頭，很香濃。年糕很彈牙，而醬汁很正，因為辣度剛剛好，不會太辣，很好味。而且有幾塊魚片，魚片不像平常的魚片，是韓國魚片，薄薄的一塊，卻比我們平常吃更有魚味，好吃。到最後，因為份量太多，我們2人吃淨了半碗飯和少許炒年糕下次我們會再試其他食品呢

 由於我上次在第二間餐廳沒有拌勻石頭飯，弄得下面的飯很硬，我立即就拌勻它及加上辣醬，飯都很軟熟，每一口都有材料在裏面，而且也很夠辣，好好味

My group and I entered the restaurant, as we were ordering I noticed a problem with the service. However the waitress did not speak English. Luckily we had some Chinese in my group so we managed. If your whole group did not speak Chinese, you could still be able to communicate because the menu had pictures and though the waitress did not speak English she was still able to communicate with us. The waitresses was quite shy and nervous making us as customers concerned if we got the right meal. The food came and we enjoyed our meal.
The menu had a variety of many different meals. For example, the boneless fried chicken, Korean fried vegetables with egg, Korean sushi and something else we couldn't remember but it tasted great. The boneless fried chicken tasted really juicy, as I took a bite out of the fried chicken I can remember the juice dribbling down my mouth. My friend and I had the boneless fried chicken, it tasted delightful. Our only negatives were the amount of calories we were consuming and the price of our meal. As I slowly nibbled at the flesh the juices ran down my chin. Heavenly! Make sure you write your own.
The atmosphere is really the main reason for my overall rating. My expectations were that there would be plain walls with nothing on them and fine Korean cutlery. Instead I felt I was in an American style environment. For example, the whole restaurant tables were very dark and there was no table mats.
In my opinion I wouldn't go to this restaurant as a group but by myself, primarily because my favorite meal was served quickly and to my great joy and satisfaction, not because it was Korean. My overall rating would be 3/5.

The atmosphere was fun and friendly though, there was traditional Korean music. The people who worked there were friendly and they often asked how the food was going. But I did feel that the atmosphere had one thing missing and I could not quite grasp that.
The service could have gone a little better. They used symbols on the menu you that they did not have to use so it became a bit of a jumble. I felt that the menu could have had a little more spirit to it. But the service was really quick and easy when they started delivering the food.
The food was amazing. The food really felt like you were in S.K. (South Korea) because they had rock pot and other traditional food. The food melted in my mouth and it even had traditional Korean vegetables. Though some of the food I stayed away from because it looked like octopus.
I would rate this 4/5 stars.

I waited a very long time and I was the last one to get my food. We ordered fried chicken and we shared together. The sushi was good. The chicken was outstanding because it was a bit spicy and a bit sweet.
I think the service was good but it was so slow that I needed to wait a really long time to have my sushi. When we went in the woman was very welcoming because she opened the door and she told us where to sit in a polite way.
As a result, this restaurant was not really good. Although the food was good, the service was not really good.

我哋一行得兩人，所以嗌得唔多嘢食，只嗌咗：韓式牛肉湯麵、牛肋骨湯(+白飯)同蔬菜煎餅。
牛肉麵好好好好味！！！湯好味麵好爽好滑！由於我係唔食得辣嘅人，所以個湯對我而言已經好辣，但佢會令人想繼續飲落去 結果捱住辣食完+飲完 好正啊
蔬菜煎餅都不得了！好脆好香勁多料！點少少汁仲好味👍 呢個時候飲牛肋骨湯，覺得有點兒失色了。唔知係佢本身偏淡 定係因為之前食嘅牛肉麵太重口味 所以顯得佢無乜味，或者我哋應該食咗佢先！(不過佢係最遲上台)，不過值得一贊係牛肋骨相當多。最後我哋兩個女仔都清晒所有嘢啊！因為其實真係好好味。
食完八點左右，見到門口好多人等位啦，我哋都快手埋單走人啦！呢餐一個字: 大滿足！

8月1號去食嘅，第二日已經開始掛住個麵。。。 所以 點都會再反離食嘅！

Awesome authentic Korean food!

As a Korean who's lived in Hong Kong for over 10 years I have frequented lots of Korean restaurants all around Hong Kong, whether on the island or New Territories. I have gone to expensive buffet restaurants that did not taste remotely Korean but also delicious cheap stalls such as the ones in Sham Shui Po. When I visited Cafe Seoul I was really impressed by the taste as it really reminded me of home without an expensive price tag.  The taste rivals that of School Food without being as expensive

I have been there many, many times and my favourite dishes have so far been:
1) Korean fried chicken (韓式炸雞, 양념치킨) 
2) yukgaejang (육개장, spicy beef soup) 
3) tteokbokki (芝士炒年糕, 떡볶이, spicy rice cakes)
4) kimbab (紫菜飯卷, 김밥, Korean rice sushi) 

Can you tell I love spicy food? 
 But if they aren't your favourite, you can request to the waitresses that they make it less spicy. 

For its small size, the decor of the restaurant is very pretty in the old-fashioned way. The lighting of the cafe, however, is pretty dark and the tinted window storefront makes it look like it's closed.
 BUT! One really cute thing about this place is that there's a bookshelf in the restaurant that allows customers to trade or take books home for free, which is great for all the book lovers out there! 


All in all, this place is one of my favourite Korean places and I recommend everyone to go ahead and try it if they live in the New Territories area!

    表面佈滿濃濃的芝士，食炒年糕…一定要加芝士是常識吧！

    年糕本身煙韌又有咬口，配上年糕汁辣中帶甜非常開胃

    身旁的朋友不太能吃辣的，所以吃了不夠一半就停手了

    明明草莓才不太會吃辣嘛～怎麼會有人比我更不能吃辣（笑）

    老實說，炒年糕當下午茶的確有點滯…哈哈！

    不要看它樣子平平，但其實蠻好吃的說

    雖然和我想像中煎得脆口有點出入（好像泡菜煎餅都不是非常脆口～對不對？）

    雖然泡菜未見突出，但也有魷魚搭救　總算合格

    因為上一道炒年糕會滯吃得不多，反而這個泡菜煎餅吃得更多～

     總結這家還是值得多的，如果你是千里迢迢跑來大埔的話

    那不要抱超大的期望可以吃到超越你想像的美食

    但如果住在附近，吃厭了一般茶記又想吃韓國料理的話，這家算是值得一試的

    是日消費HKD88，100蚊有找

    雖然這次吃的是下午茶，其實下次還想來吃午餐、晚餐
