又會咁岩得咁橋朋友同我係同一條街返工, 所以就相約左黎呢間新開既西餐食意粉! 聽聞呢間鋪係香港咩咖啡王子開既, 所以一定要試下佢既咖啡啦!! lunch hour黎到無人等位, 咁兩個人就坐低先再自己去cashier order啦~呢度都幾自助, 餐具等等都係要自己拎。無諗過佢個lunch special只有3個餐, 一個沙律兩個意粉only...食沙律我一定唔飽, 所以order了煙三文魚波菜長通粉($65)。個長通粉賣相好靚, 望落你會以為好波菜好入味!! 但當你試左第一啖...完全係出乎意料, 個通粉好硬, 一啲波菜味都無又唔夠咸, 最後只可以black pepper黎吊味! 但個煙三文魚又唔知點解整到勁咸份量亦唔多,  唯一值得提既係佢既配菜都幾多: 有茄子, 三色椒,洋蔥同波菜, 食落都有口感。呢個係朋友order既辣泡菜意粉($58?), 忘了是配咩肉類。同樣既問題, 佢個意粉硬到好似未煮熟咁, 完成懷疑個廚師無睇火... 我試左一啖都幾辣, 如果唔食得辣既最好不要order呢個了...最出名既咖啡-我無諗過係咁既味...我order左Iced Latte MaMacchi

無諗過佢個lunch special只有3個餐, 一個沙律兩個意粉only...食沙律我一定唔飽, 所以order了煙三文魚波菜長通粉($65)。個長通粉賣相好靚, 望落你會以為好波菜好入味!! 但當你試左第一啖...完全係出乎意料, 個通粉好硬, 一啲波菜味都無又唔夠咸, 最後只可以black pepper黎吊味! 但個煙三文魚又唔知點解整到勁咸份量亦唔多,  唯一值得提既係佢既配菜都幾多: 有茄子, 三色椒,洋蔥同波菜, 食落都有口感。

最出名既咖啡-我無諗過係咁既味...我order左Iced Latte MaMacchiato(跟餐半價$15), order既時候聽到另一個staff講:姐係latte! 已經心知不妙... 杯咖啡完全無焦糖都算, 好似係連糖都無, 成杯咖啡係苦既, 而且好奶無咖啡味...

試過就算了, 不會再試。

今日提早放工,試左呢間咖啡店。藍莓芝士餅是普通的味道,但勝在有心思,其實距離佢地收工只有一小時,但都係碟上畫花。再叫了杯精品咖啡,Hand drip。沖出黎手法唔錯,有花香fruity,同最後有watery口感。可惜既係明明沖左一壺,但只倒半杯俾我。比較其他精品咖啡份量略為少,但價錢$40做到呢個質素,份量又唔可以太要求既😅

很喜歡Cafe Corridor,聽說這店的老闆還在觀塘開了另一咖啡店,便來試試。原來在觀塘工業區中有這個簡約明淨的咖啡小角落,很是喜歡。這咖啡店就在商業大廈的大堂一角,樓底很高,還有一排落地玻璃窗,加上週末早上人很少,非常寧靜舒適。就簡單的點了一杯Latte(HK$24),請咖啡師替我先把糖加到杯中,然後才傾注咖啡。很nice的咖啡師還跟我笑說他加糖後就不拉花了 :)可是最後他給我製作了如此漂亮精緻的拉花,真窩心﹗ 喝下去不但奶泡非常順滑綿密,咖啡本身的味道亦非常合我心意,不會太酸,不會苦,卻又不減咖啡香氣。跟咖啡師聊了一會,才知道原來有些咖啡太酸澀是因為咖啡師萃取不當,或是鮮奶溫度太高,令奶的甜味失去了……我又上了一課﹗慶幸今早特地前來,享受了如此優質的咖啡時光 : )

就簡單的點了一杯Latte(HK$24),請咖啡師替我先把糖加到杯中,然後才傾注咖啡。很nice的咖啡師還跟我笑說他加糖後就不拉花了 :)可是最後他給我製作了如此漂亮精緻的拉花,真窩心﹗ 喝下去不但奶泡非常順滑綿密,咖啡本身的味道亦非常合我心意,不會太酸,不會苦,卻又不減咖啡香氣。

跟咖啡師聊了一會,才知道原來有些咖啡太酸澀是因為咖啡師萃取不當,或是鮮奶溫度太高,令奶的甜味失去了……我又上了一課﹗

慶幸今早特地前來,享受了如此優質的咖啡時光 : )

The contemporary, stylish cafe is located at the right of building entrance so you can never miss it. It has an open space between the long rectangular counter and sitting area. There are around 5 tables, each with two red designer chairs.

When I asked which coffee does not have an acidic taste, the two baristas behind counter replied their coffee blends would not create any (really??), so I ordered a cup of cappuccino that was served in 5 minutes with brown sugar.

There was a 'pattern' on top of the milk froth, I wondered if they were practicing latte art.
Also the brown sugar started caking, but these did not bother me as I seldom put sugar in my coffee and I appreciated the barista's effort.

The milk was steamed into microfoam so the milk froth had a very smooth texture, not airy froth like those in coffee chains. The taste was creamy and intense. Coffee body was rather light for me despite of dark roasted fuoco blend was used, though still contributed an aromatic scent. Bitterness was kept at desirable level.
Nice coffee


The barista lady was informative and explained to me the characteristics of coffee from different regions with patience.


Guess here will be another relaxing place for me to chill out and unwind myself in this busy area.

其實兩個月之前已經由啡友口中得知 Felix 響觀塘開了間主打外賣的咖啡店,Barista 是HKGBC 的 2nd runner-up (雖然我對這個比賽沒有好感..),但因為早前店子有點問題休息了一個月,我在那個月就摸了兩次門釘 店子重開之後我也沒有時間再去,直到今天…一去到就跟 Barista 打了招呼,先要了杯 Espresso,回過神後再要杯 Ristretto,他們用的(當然)是 Coffee Assembly 的Fuoco BlendEspresso, Ristretto (Fuoco)如 Babedolphin 兄所言,同樣係 Fuoco,這裡的 Espresso 同 Ristretto are less sweet than Soulmate, 但我今日那兩杯的 Body 比較薄 (Barista 說今日用的豆太新鮮了) ,除此以外和 Soulmate Nigel 拉的分別不明顯。Sorry I gave a 4 to taste because I had an amazing shot in Danes the other day. Looks like the blossom of quality coffee shop is happening in Hong Kong. Remeber a time there was only Zamrba (Sorry but I never get the rave of "My Coffee") now there re also Crema, Coco, Soulmate, Essenza, Coffee Golden serving great coffee and Danes is coming to the scene. Although the coffee scene seems a lot better than a year or two ago (thanks to Moses Chan btw), the mind set of mass coffee population is still very much in the mid of 2nd wave, they order drinks in starbucks' way like tall latte extra shot extra hot more foam blah blah blah.... IMHO Baristas should play a part in educating ppl. in one way, refuse this starbuck way of ordering drinks, like what soulmate does; in another way, tell ppl what's good what's bad and why, possibly encouraging ppl try other great coffee shops.

"CAFFE LATTE -"
先說 Caffe Latte.
因現時未裝好檯櫈, 於是逼住買了外賣. 本應是冚上了蓋的, 但拿到出去臨飲之前我又想八下揭開睇睇, 竟給我發現到有些拉花在內. 這已証明了咖啡師不會因這是外賣而偷懶或求期冲的! 朋友話今次他那杯嘅香味同咖啡味無上次他在這裡買的咁夠出, 但我那杯弱得嚟算是好味. 溫度也超水準.

"SINGLE ESPRESSO -"
我估計, 這一定要叫堂食的. 比起 Soulmate, 這杯同樣是用上同一品牌的咖啡豆竟然膿很多. 很香的香味, 有點它那 signature的 Peppery, 類似 Cilantro-stalk+Nutmeg 的香辛料味同帶少少泥土味, 又有 Earthiness 又有 Power. 但飲落反而同 Soulmate 很不同, 這裡少咗那容易接受的甜甜味同果核重, 但兩邊都帶應有的原始味道同野性. 但這裡比較重黑朱古力味, 很thick bodied, 帶了點苦同微燶的回甘! 其實這種咖啡 style, 我遇過很多次的.

我對本地的咖啡文化同比賽或組織其實不太留意過的, 因可能曾 miss 咗最佳機會, 但無意中搵這裡地址的時侯, 竟搵到關於這裡 Barista 的網上咖啡製作或少少拉花 Demo... 原來香港都有辦很多唔同的 event 的, 好有意思. 嗝日再想完成這編食評之時, 竟再一發現這裡的咖啡師 King 好像就是剛剛奪得全香港比賽的第三名者? 希望無認錯人! Surprised!! 這時亦才發現原來Quarry Bay's Epoch, 即係上星期我不久前才寫過 Review 的, 原來也包辦了香港第一名同二名的 Barista Champions 的? 我喝過很多度地方很多次咖啡都乜都唔知, 消息也算很落後.
不過最緊要好飲就得!
