The linguini with tomato sauce was very tasty and the portion size was okay. We were offered a soup and didn’t know it wasn’t included with the set and when the soup arrived it was small and good - cream of mushroom soup, but they charged us $28 for it which is overpriced!! The service was a bit slow as we had to remind him several times to being the pepper. continue reading

去年約10月,在灣仔克街開業的西餐廳 Carlo Riva,跟好姊妹食友在銅鑼灣晚飯後,經過見到,當時她也感興趣找天幫襯!怎料,最近有另一位新朋友約我來這裡跟她的朋友一起食飯! 所以,她一講克街的新西餐廳,我即時想起這間餐廳!她早前在10月來過這裡,當時任食M9澳洲和牛牛扒無限添加自助餐後,對這餐廳出品充滿信心,便向我推薦!她還記得當時,為嚐到這次自助餐,晚上9:00,餐廳門外仍有人排隊,可見相當受歡迎! 她間中來幫襯,才得知最近老闆有新 Idea,把最受食客歡迎的美食重新配搭來個新口味的新菜式!為食客帶出新鮮感!餐廳佔地兩層,地方舒適優雅! 老闆讓樓上班食客離開,才帶我們到上層參觀,樓上雅座別有洞天,可包場!亦有卡拉 OK!自成一角!開放式廚房,見到廚房班底好 young,大致上是 90後,他們殷勤有禮!80後大廚用心鑽研菜式及味道!此外,衛生程度高!老闆熱情好客,經常招呼食客,好讓食客有賓至如歸的感覺!Daily Soup~Carrot Ginger soup 甘筍薑湯 $68打得細膩幼滑,加入薑,其辛辣味不搶喉!帶出一點辛的感覺,甘筍本身的甜美,正好起了中和作用;甘筍與薑的配搭,可擦出不俗的火花呢! French No. 1 Oyster 法國1號焗生蠔 (時價)配上師傅秘製的紅酒汁,略帶醋酸清新開胃!Baked French No. 1 Oyster 焗法國1號生蠔 (推廣價$198半打)以炸蒜焗法國1號新鮮生蠔,坊間有餐廳會用冷雪藏生蠔來焗,這裡選用新鮮生蠔,size 不算好大,勝在烤焗後,生蠔仍然鮮滑多汁,質感與別不同,更勝一籌!炸蒜香口到不得了, 亦可提鮮,鮮甜帶鹹,令人一試愛上!Baked Avocado 芝士蟹肉焗牛油果 $98把蟹肉釀入牛油果內,面層加芝士焗, 店方選用的牛油果是新鮮貨色,依然保持翠綠,算熟的牛油果入口軟滑而香卻不失挺身,否則難以處理! 滿載鮮甜的蟹肉,份量已經交足貨,食得滿足又滋味! 原來蟹肉與牛油果的配搭也不錯!Spanish Spring Chicken 西班牙風味烤春雞 $118春雞先以新鮮檸檬、洋蔥、大蒜、芫茜及西班牙秘製香料醃足24小時,烤焗15至20分鐘,烤雞跟炸雞同樣美味,個人較喜歡烤雞;啖啖肉惹味香口,又能鎖住水份,食起來肉嫩多肉汁!Mussel with White Wine 白酒煮藍青口 $148簡單以白酒、大蒜、羅勒,足以帶出青口的鮮美,入口富彈性邊位帶有嚼感!不忘一嚐白酒汁精華啊!Scallop Linguine, Thyme & Tomato sauce 意式帶子扁意粉 $168朋友覺得意猶未盡,點了一碟意粉,賣相吸引, 巧妙地加入獨特清香的羅勒及大蒜片,即時令整體口味生色不少!扁意粉入口煙韌富彈性又掛汁入味!帶子幾大隻,烹調火候剛好,不會太熟透,才可保持鮮嫩甜美!USA Prime (Grain fed) OP Rib  美國頂級穀飼牛扒 $1,288店方的牛扒是招牌貨,老闆向我們推介美國頂級牛扒!份量驚人!我們三人恐怕吃不消!有機會才點吧!美食配紅酒!我一於陪朋友淺嚐吧! 個人不慬飲酒,恐怕不能品評!請見諒!這裡地方舒適,意想不到佔地兩層, 食物選料質素高又有水準,有機會約其他朋友來幫襯! continue reading

點了一客chicken masala rice及一客mushroom penne.mushroom penne有點洗潔精味 及 chicken masala十分之乾 完全沒有咖哩汁拌飯應該改名為dry chicken masala先不說一個lunch set $78 + 10% service charge 已經算貴食物味道十分普遍, 完全沒有"好食!" 的感覺其中一女侍應服務態度更十分惡劣, 我仲食緊一碟mushroom penne, 她突然走過來在我的mushroom penne上扔下她手上的垃圾再問我: 呢碟收得啦呵?真係唔該晒你喎, 你都扔左D垃圾落我碟意粉到啦, 你食俾我睇呀?同行朋友為外國人, 她向一男侍應說英語, 男侍應不明白朋友說的英語卻回答說OK結果我需要再向該男侍應用中文解釋多一次如果聽不明白英語請問你OK些什麼? 基於一個基本成年人行為來說 已十分有問題你可以叫其他懂英語的侍應過來幫你而不是草草了事說OK若我跟你說 Can we have this lobster for free? 你也會說OK 是吧?一餐午飯遇上2個問題侍應, 我對此餐廳的未來真是充滿擔心如此"意大利"餐廳卻提供茶餐廳式服務 (其實有些茶餐廳的服務態度比你們還要好), 真是大開眼界。 continue reading

一班朋友聚會,想食西餐,飲下酒。今天訂了這間Carlo Riva。環境舒適,很舒服,可以慢慢傾計,沙律頭盤配搭很好,沙律醬味道剛剛好,頭盤已有驚喜,白菌湯很濃郁,但不膩,連面包也是很軟熟,主菜牛扒烹調得剛剛好,雞胸亦很軟,很好味,最後的豬扒也很好味。服務亦很好,天氣凍,每隻新換給食客的碟都已加熱,令食物溫度有所保持。另外有老闆很健談,加上可以很輕鬆在此環境下與朋友談天說地,星期五晚的這一晚餐真的很滿足。 continue reading

呢排成日打邊爐打到有一點膩,今日就約一樣愛食扒的朋友嚟到呢間試試佢餐廳環境幾大,感覺幾開揚舒服,原來樓上仲有一層先來了一杯白酒配海鮮,仲會跟埋餐包,餐包好軟綿熱辣辣白酒幾清甜好易入口,配來白酒煮青口好夾,青口好新鮮,加上用蒜片跟香草煮好惹味到主菜係肥美鮮甜龍蝦,用咗燒焗去做,多一份薰香,龍蝦啖啖肉又夠爽口彈牙,仲帶出香草味另一主菜係牛扒,上檯時已有點驚喜,最愛牛扒煎得兩邊微焦但中間仲好粉嫩,入口果然沒失望,沒筋又夠嫩腍,牛味仲好出,配埋紅酒真美味甜品是朱古力心太軟,一切開啲朱古力醬就湧出嚟好流心,另外仲配了一球雲呢嗱雪糕,好滿足!! continue reading
