I was randomly passing by this little bakery and could not resist the bake goods smell and got in.I bought a fresh bake sesame bun. Something simple but not every bakery can master it. I was randomly passing by this little bakery and could not resist the bake goods smell and got in.
I bought a fresh bake sesame bun. Something simple but not every bakery can master it.
It was very fluffy and soft. Very delicious. Not too buttery but just tasted it's there.
They provide various amount of traditional bake goods that I think I will come again to try. This is why I open rice this bakery for their options. I wasn't planning to write a review but seeing few reviews regarding the bad attitude of staff, I would like to highlight my experience this time. Few disabled customers were buying bakeries with me and staff were being nice and friendly. Helping out patiently and showed support when pay. Personally, this bakery provides something to nibble on with nice welcoming staff.

之前有人介紹加利年餅屋,專登去試下,買左皮蛋酥、菠蘿油同埋花生包,勁推薦皮蛋酥啊,入邊有小小姜,而且真係有d流心,唔太甜,非常好味,菠蘿包好特別,三個小球癡埋一齊,花生包除左花生醬之外仲有d花生粒,非常唔錯。

I brought my foreign friends to try the Hong Kong famous egg tarts. The egg tart was 5 dollars each. Freshly baked and came directly from the kitchen. So nice and soft the custard-like egg yolk. THe crust was supper crunchy. 不過如果要挑剔嘅話, 就係個餅底有少少太過老, 雖然係脆, 不過嗰啲硬, 同埋個餅都有少少厚。 所以咬落去唔係話入口即溶嘅 鬆化。

今朝返工打算試下一直係公司附近既麵包店啦,點知就一肚氣。叫到有司華力腸包就買咗見條腸幾大條心諗正常都唔會難食。點個一咬落去有陣化學味,講唔出既怪味,似係大陸既合成腸。下次寧願行遠d買,起碼唔使受氣😪間野好細,排隊既人塞住夾包既位。排緊隊既時候已經聽到老板娘係到鬧人。收錢既位一大堆散紙放係到攤開,無帶眼鏡既我一開始以為有零錢找返,拎起啦,其實佢話無咁我放低啦。一直聽到佢碎碎念又黑面,唔使要你好客態度,但起碼都尊重下人啦。

想不到,有其他人都有我同樣經歷。有次,我放工去買包,唔小心夾跌左一個,因為我買硬包,一下子夾唔實,我已經話我俾返錢,只是$5-6,佢就連忙閙我,話佢唔駛做生意啦,一路鬧到我從俾錢至走既一刻,又有次我買包,我帶住耳機去俾錢既時候,我係銀包拿錢,之後放底錢,佢就起勢咁鬧,話未見過人,望人既眼神咁衰,小妹只是一個正常OL,唔明點樣望人眼神衰,之後我發誓永遠不再去,其實隔離百佳既包都唔差,我真係覺得老闆娘很不友善!

公司在附近所以經常有機會幫襯,但受氣指數上升1. 朝早8點幾,問問老闆娘請問有冇出爐包?老闆娘:「打開門做生意,個個都差不多啦,點知邊啲出爐!」好!我敗走,未試過咁受氣2.隔一段時間再去聽到老闆娘鬧員工:「你入返去啦,仲學人夾包,你未夠班呀,成日以為自己掂,你未夠班聽到未?」3. 今朝再去俾錢時,老闆娘:「拎開電話!拎開電話!(越講越大聲!)你再唔拎開我唔整㗎!」其實電話只係放喺枱角,又唔阻住佢,我要拎銀包先放低10秒,之後我就話咁我唔要啲包,真心食唔落第一次出post原來之前已經咁多人受佢氣講真包唔特別好食,勝在近公司,發誓以後唔再幫襯麵包舖啫,員工又鬧客人又鬧,不如唔好開門做生意啦

今日去了上環加利年餅屋買了糯米滋食,佢地的糯米滋又大粒又煙煙韌韌。黑芝麻糯米滋~~皮薄裡面的黑芝麻磨得好細滑,入口皮已立即融化,面上還有一些棷絲,食完記得清潔牙齒,因為黑芝麻會留在牙齒面上。芒果糯米滋~~加了些芒果汁做皮,裡內有幾粒新鮮的芒果肉,食時有芒果的香味。佢地都會每日生產,到下午多數已賣完。另外,買完要盡快食,因為放得太耐,糯米滋會融化,口感就不好食。

黑芝麻糯米滋~~皮薄裡面的黑芝麻磨得好細滑,入口皮已立即融化,面上還有一些棷絲,食完記得清潔牙齒,因為黑芝麻會留在牙齒面上。

I always prefer biscuit base for egg tarts. The biscuit base is crispy and hot in Catherine's. The filling is not too sweet, glad that it's not sugary.

The egg tarts are as good as those in Tai Chueng, and it's only $3 in Catherine's. My first choice for 3:15.
