價錢貴,食物質素尚可,但服務真的不敢恭維。我兩點後入座,餐廳還有不少空位,但服務員堅持要給我位子狹窄,與鄰枱相隔較近的位置,在我一再反對之下,才很悔氣的讓我轉一個較寬闊的位置,之後連餐牌都不給我們,這是一間要求每位minimum charge 200元的餐廳,這樣的服務質素,對得起這個價錢嗎?

經常路過這間開業不到一年的餐廳,今天是我第一次來。進入餐廳時已聞到了燒烤的香氣,讓我的食慾大增。餐廳Charcoal Bar顧名思義,是主打燒烤為主的。選擇了靠窗的一張桌子,雖然可以望到街景,但有點悶熱,因為外面的天氣實在太熱,冷氣並未能有效降低靠窗座位的溫度。這也讓身穿外套的侍應們頗為辛苦。點了炭燒鱈魚套餐,鱈魚烤得剛剛好,配上少量辣椒,外脆內軟,做得相當好。套餐還附送了一份小沙律和粟米湯。隨後我再點了 Apple Crumble,剛從焗爐熱辣辣地上枱,上面的 Crumble 脆卜卜,配一小球vanilla雪糕,兩個人分享剛剛好。順便提一句,餐廳的waitress 笑容滿面,樂意介紹不同的菜式,實在是難得。

而牛排沒有沒有任何炭香味,亦沒有牛肉的鮮味,吃起來像是1塊灼熟了的牛排,必須加上黑椒醬才有咸味,但所講的五重黑椒醬十分普通,跟街邊茶餐廳的牛扒黑椒汁沒有分別,反而茶餐廳的鐵板餐比起這餐廳的牛扒更有焦香味。雖然以尖沙咀海旁的餐廳來說$488/400g的牛排並不貴,但出品只能說能果腹,遠遠不能稱之合格。

甜品方面,本人點的點品為炭燒菠蘿。此甜品以一層棉花糖包裹着椰子雪糕,並淋上點燃了的冧酒。入口時棉花果及雪糕帶有冧酒的香氣,整體上不錯。但以菠蘿乾代替新鮮菠蘿肉令整道點品只有死甜而沒有refresh 的感覺。

整餐晚飯大約為$700/人,但無論食材、味道方面都只能用廉價作為評價,相信街邊餐廳的食物味道必定更出色。環境方面裝潢華麗、配合夜景令人賞心悅目,但現場十分嘈吵,像在茶餐廳用餐一樣。總結而言只是一間華而不實的打卡餐廳!
