食神叉燒,單看店名已經有立即想幫襯的衝動餐廳主打港式燒味,也有一些即叫即炒例如乾炒牛河之類的菜式但今次幫襯最主要是為了試他的暗然銷魂飯這個飯有叉燒,煎蛋、例湯及飲品附送,以$79來說尚算合理整個餐是用托盤上枱的特別設計,有新潮感但說到底最重要的叉燒就談不上有驚喜,雖然是半肥瘦,也有一些燶邊位,但鹹甜的味道好像拿捏得不太適中,可以多鹹一點點,也可以多甜一點點,就是在中間不溫不火😟而煎蛋是用圓形模具煎出來的,反而沒有燶邊,這樣有點失望,有點扣分😓反而例湯較想像中濃郁,足料,而且夠熱,十分好飲😄而這間餐廳所有餐具都是用完即棄的,十分不環保,不喜歡👎

這個飯有叉燒,煎蛋、例湯及飲品附送,以$79來說尚算合理
整個餐是用托盤上枱的特別設計,有新潮感
但說到底最重要的叉燒就談不上有驚喜,雖然是半肥瘦,也有一些燶邊位,但鹹甜的味道好像拿捏得不太適中,可以多鹹一點點,也可以多甜一點點,就是在中間不溫不火😟
而煎蛋是用圓形模具煎出來的,反而沒有燶邊,這樣有點失望,有點扣分😓

Recommended reasons: Being the namesake of the shop, the Char Siu Rice (i.e. Chinese BBQ Rice) is indeed quiet recommended compared to other shops'. Crispy on the edge and with just the relatively small amount of fat, the char siu almost melts in your mouth for my first bite. Taking off the fat in other pieces, the char siu is still quite good albeit losing a bit of its color in. Scenario: Retro 1970s HK decor. Conclusion: Recommend to try once.

Also they have excellent service ! Last time I came at around 2ish on a weekend, this special BBQ pork belly rice (食神暗然銷魂飯) was sold out ! This time I came early to try this special char siu. HKD 80 dollars for this special char siu rice, which also include a homemade soup of the day and a hot drink of your choice. Not too bad, but definitely more expensive

Last time I came at around 2ish on a weekend, this special BBQ pork belly rice (食神暗然銷魂飯) was sold out ! This time I came early to try this special char siu. HKD 80 dollars for this special char siu rice, which also include a homemade soup of the day and a hot drink of your choice. Not too bad, but definitely more expensive compared to the standard local stores.

The homemade soup of the day was really good, you can feel that its really a long boiled soup and not filled with MSG. For the char siu rice, the rice was a little cold today, or maybe the air conditioning is a little too high at the restaurant. If the rice was super hot I think it will be much better with the soya sauce.

Yes this is the pork belly version, you can see the fat distribution and the glossiness of the BBQ glaze. the fat section was soft and it was not too oily. But when it comes to the meaty part, the meat was a little dry. Also the pork was not hot enough...... even the egg was a little cold. I think if overall the entire plate was much hotter it will be better.

Lunch 叫個叉燒飯,跟個湯。叉燒飯個底都幾油,叉燒上面成pat 糖漿,啲叉燒除咗係比較淋身,我淨係食到個甜字。個湯真係同個飯一絕,好咸,如果就咁飲,我諗要杯水至得,而家同個甜飯真係襯絕,咸到乜咁,中和返晒!食完餐飯個口淨係想搵杯水溝溝佢,勁口渴!題外話,啲位比較迫,個男店員又好大份,經常行出行入,但佢完全話之你感受,當你透明,我一餐飯俾佢撞到7次,佢完全當無事發生,唔好意思都無句!非常趕客!一定唔會返轉頭!無下次!
