need to book table 1 night before. also someone will call to confirm that morning. book 3 adult 12 pm today 8/1/2009 thursday working day. but nearly full. food are good. service are good. but renovation sea view. not so good. washroom are very clean. we just order normal food, not expensive food. but need 740 dollars for 3 adults. but anyway. if we go to ifc shopping. we will choose this restaurant for sure. we wont choose lee garden or 4 season hotel.

1st time go there with my mom and uncle on 11/10/2008 satursday 11 30am. coz we want to walk ifc. we spend more then 100 dollars taxi from our home fo tan to there. when we arrive only 1 table is full. when we left around 12 45pm. only around 2/3 full. we order bbq pork , rice, some dim sum. total cost around 400 dollars. not cheap. but i think that worth with so many waiter, waitress serve u. the washroom very clean. only the sea view decoration is a bit worse as there is some construation goin

服務當然周到,不過也有掛萬漏一的地方,如不記得給我們小吃,又不理客人是否在進食,不停的換碟,很煩。

吃了一大堆點心,埋單每人二百三,不便宜,有需要才再來。

First, the main room of the restaurant is like a dining hall so it was very noisy and has no atmosphere.

Second, the service is not great. After ordering a martini from their bar, the waiter actually spilled some of the martini on his tray but still gave it to me. I was more unhappy about having a sticky glass than drinking less martini. The service is all over the place, there are lots of waiters with different levels: high, medium and low (only collect dishes) and they spend their time scuttering around but not really doing much. I hate seeing waiters stand around and chat.

Third, food. It's not great, you might try it once and that's about it. It doesn't make you want to go back again.

I suppose if you want to take someone to have some Chinese food and want a view, this is an impressive place.

避風塘鱈魚粒 - now here is a very tasty dish involving cubes of fried cod covered under a bed of deep-fried shredded cod and garlic. Highly recommended.

The restaurant was trying to be creative with蜜汁玉子魚柳卷, but I was not very impressed with the effort. The蒜香頭油脆皮雞was very good with crispy garlic flavored skins and tender meat.

The 桂花脆鱔球 was interestingly presented on the plate, but taste was only OK. We also had a plate of kai lan (芥蘭) which was pretty decent. To round out the selection, we were recommended to take the 咖喱牛坑腩煎米粉,another creative dish that actually worked for me. Josa the eager waitress set us up with complimentary desserts and fruit to finish off the evening.

Real caseI ordered 3 cokes, 1 orange juice and 1 ice water today.For the first time, the waiter responded with "um" and went out of our room. I thought he would give me the drinks but then I found that he was serving other tables with drinks and kept asking them : "who ordered the drinks". Certainly, no one responded him but the customers on that table were willing to take the drinks. I raised up my hand without any notice and failed to catch his eyes and of coz failed to have the drinks.OK fine

Real case

I ordered 3 cokes, 1 orange juice and 1 ice water today.

For the first time, the waiter responded with "um" and went out of our room. I thought he would give me the drinks but then I found that he was serving other tables with drinks and kept asking them : "who ordered the drinks".
Certainly, no one responded him but the customers on that table were willing to take the drinks. I raised up my hand without any notice and failed to catch his eyes and of coz failed to have the drinks.

OK fine!
For the second time, I made an order to another waiter. He also responded with a nod and got out of the room. But once again, he was holding other dishes and to puting the dishes on other table. Meanwhile, I saw another waiter served the customers on other tables with the same drinks I ordered. =.=

OK fine! Third try
This time, I talked to the lady who was serving our table supposingly. I asked for 4 drinks with draws. Her respond was ok becoz she told us there was no more draws provided. The she went out for about 3 minutes, and came back with nothing but clearing the dishes of other tables.

So HORRIBLE!!!!! FINE. FORTH Try
Raised my hands up to get notice from a waitress who had nothing to do but stood behind me. I made the same order with the forth try but got the same result.

I CANNOT TELORATE THIS HAPPENING ONCE AGAIN AND AGAIN!!!!!!
But then I saw a waiter holding with the drinks which I ordered, and he kept asking the customers on another table : "who needs it".
At that moment, I really went mad!!!! I finally noticed to him with my pointing finger and said "it's my drinks". He then came to me and nearly put the drinks in front of me. But when I asked, "may I have a draw pls". He took back the drinks, and said "we dun have it anymore coz it's already used up". My friend, sitting next to me, said " although there is no draws, you can still give us the drinks". And we finally could "enjoy"the drinks we ordered.

For the time I made and order, and got the drinks, it took about 20 minutes. How come a restaurant like this can provide such unsatisfactory services!!!

I do highly not recommend this restaurant to you and it's not worthy and not derserve such a expensive price.!!!!!!

I will not go to here anymore!!!!!!!

擒晚再到國金軒出席朋友婚宴, 曾經因為亮明居差勁, 所以blacklist左依間酒樓, 但今次冇辦法, 因為係好朋友關係, 所以一定要出席!一如所料, 深水酒樓扮五星級酒樓, 服務差得緊要, 好似所有侍應都唔識做咁, 踢一腳就郁一郁, 部長仲差, 佢只係企埋一邊扮"部長", 完全唔識分配工作同指令下屬做好! 我真係懷疑當初這間酒樓去IFC選址時, 係咪唔知自己去左中環, 以為自己搵o岩地方, 深水開酒樓呀! 服務真係差得緊要!食物方面, 國金軒明顯比亮明居好幾陪, 但還是可接受階段, 仍有進步空間!

黃沙芝麻球就又值得一讚了, 黃沙即流沙, 做得很好, 流而不油, 又起沙, 甜度適中, 很好味, 我食了兩個, 一路食一路讚。
總括來說, 食物不錯, 座位亦算舒適, 但令我留下深刻印象的仍是waitress JOSA的熱誠服務態度, 就像”見城”一樣, 令我會再去是因為服務而不只是食物。

比較起另一邊的利苑,總喜歡來這邊吃飯多一點。又來跟一眾食友吃午膳,本來去樓下吃「混合」泰菜,一位難求,立即轉陣,上來飲茶。6個人坐10人檯,當然是十分舒適寬敞。只是隨便的要了幾個點心,滋味雞及生炒糯米飯。這裡的點心,廿幾蚊到幾十蚊左右,質數普遍不錯。帶子燒賣大大粒,帶子爽口彈牙,燒賣都美味;菠菜餃的皮做得煙韌不硬,肉餡幾鬆,也不錯;山竹牛肉做得幾鬆,不過吃這味,還是喜歡大大舊的老式做法;春卷幼身,皮多餡少,還是傳統的「一開二」好一點;滋味雞用煲仔上,上面放一串青胡椒,「混合」之至。用上質數不錯的材料,雞件嫩滑,用上蜜糖去焗,帶點甜,也不錯;生炒糯米飯做成蛋包飯的樣子,吃落味道也不差,淡淡也充滿臘味的香味。唯飯身相當腍,徒具「生炒」之名。侍應人手足夠,招呼不錯。埋單每位一百六十,不便宜,但在國金二期,坐得舒舒服服飲茶,有景睇,食物還不差,都要番差不多價錢。

Food was okay but service wasn't too good. some looked annoyed when asked questions! if they charge this much they should hire people with better attitude. I will defintely go somewhere else.

30/05老闆同一同事為我慶祝生日,我的好同事花了很多腦汁,給了我多個選擇...法國菜的XX餐廳,美國菜XX餐廳,日本菜XX餐廳,最後我選了這店!一座下...美麗的維港景色清晰可見,有時空氣不大好,不遠的景物也看不到!懶懶的,點了商務午餐3位.食物水準也不錯(叉燒包可做得更好).味味真材實料,尤其有一個蟹黃豆腐...啖啖蟹黃同蟹肉,絕無稀場.老火湯係青紅蘿白煲豬展,味美香濃.香煎銀雪魚無煎過火,香口又唔會乾.魚湯魚腐浸娃娃菜,清清淡淡.又用魚湯浸住,不錯呢!但那個乾炒海鮮河粉就唔夠料勒(得幾粒蝦同魷魚)!仲用土魷炒...韌得老闆也吃不了.點品係楊枝金露布甸,這個味道很好,滑滑的,西柚肉很多.另一個是麻蓉糯米糍,一般般吧!這裡最吸引的地方是無敵維港景色,安排到座位在窗邊更好!

一座下...美麗的維港景色清晰可見,有時空氣不大好,不遠的景物也看不到!
懶懶的,點了商務午餐3位.食物水準也不錯(叉燒包可做得更好).味味真材實料,尤其有一個蟹黃豆腐...啖啖蟹黃同蟹肉,絕無稀場.老火湯係青紅蘿白煲豬展,味美香濃.香煎銀雪魚無煎過火,香口又唔會乾.魚湯魚腐浸娃娃菜,清清淡淡.又用魚湯浸住,不錯呢!但那個乾炒海鮮河粉就唔夠料勒(得幾粒蝦同魷魚)!仲用土魷炒...韌得老闆也吃不了.點品係楊枝金露布甸,這個味道很好,滑滑的,西柚肉很多.另一個是麻蓉糯米糍,一般般吧!

這裡最吸引的地方是無敵維港景色,安排到座位在窗邊更好!

一行十人﹐在國金軒飲茶-- 原來我已經很久沒有飲茶了!!

剛坐下﹐點的菜就來了--

出名的蜜汁叉燒﹐肉稔﹐好味:

不知什麼金錢雞-- 入面有芋頭蓉(代雞)和鵝肝﹐我不覺得特別好味。

接著有一連串點心--

好好味叉燒包﹐皮薄餡靚!!

什麼什麼餃﹐入面有蠶豆和不知什麼﹐幾好味。

黑狗(蝦餃) -- 沒有吃﹐不能吃﹐應該是酸的(吃不到的葡萄。。。)。

素餃-- 以為是潮州粉果﹐但又沒有花生﹐幾好味﹐推介之作。

本來想叫腸粉﹐但原來weekdays沒有的﹐只有周末才有(失望)。

接著有特式小菜--

甜酸龍脷柳-- 底是炸龍脷來的﹐非常好味(我們都搶那個底的)。

露筍鴨丸-- 特別﹐但不是我的口味。

什麼什麼豆腐-- 每件入面都有一些豆腐加蟹肉釀的東東﹐汁是全蟹肉+蟹膏。沒有吃﹐不能吃﹐酸的。

五穀炒飯-- 十級推介﹐很香﹐很好味。

So far so good﹐還是最傳統的點心和小菜好味-- 炒飯真是極力推介!!!

好﹐率之吃完鹹點﹐我們叫了很多甜點-- 國金軒的甜品突出之處是不會太甜(與金葉庭剛剛相反。。。金的甜得濃縮)﹐可以吃多幾款。

一名不好甜的朋友叫了這個芒果什麼什麼撈-- 他說以為會很甜﹐但入口才知不甜﹐他喜歡(難得!)。

然後兩位叫了薰衣草銀杏蛋花湯丸-- 端出來時很香薰衣草味﹐但銀杏太稔﹐雖然有特別的配料(如畺薯)﹐但還是不夠突出﹐湯丸亦一般(不會再叫)。

木瓜燕窩燉鮮奶-- 六個叫﹐六個也說好味﹐奶很滑﹐其它配料也OK。

除了每人一甜品外﹐我們還叫了一些甜點試--

桂花杞(妃)子糕-- 清香﹐推介之作。

燕窩蛋撻-- 酥皮做得好﹐但可能端出來的時間久了﹐不夠熱。

菠蘿包-- 很的式﹐沒有試。

芒果芭夫-- 聽說很"酸"﹐裡面的餡是芒果雪糕("為什麼不是Haagan Dazs?" 我聽見吃的朋友嚷著-- 其實她是想別人都不跟她爭其餘的一件)﹐媽媽說很好味(雖然她吃時雪糕都溶了)﹐尤其是托底的脆皮!!

紅豆布甸﹐好食(我老爸以為個瓦碗是可以食的﹐不明白為什麼我們都把它放會碟上﹐笑死我!!)。

到我們都已經拿出唇膏準備畫嘴之際﹐原來還有這一碟煎炸馬蹄糕。。。大家免為其難(真的很飽了) 吃了-- 絕對不會後悔﹐因為這個剛弄起的甜點的糕造得很好﹐有桂花香﹐也有馬蹄的"趙"口。推介!!


好了﹐終於吃完﹐埋單連加一不過$3000﹐十個人在中環高級地段﹑落地海景﹑中高級食物水準的餐廳吃過了。
