心情唔好,食個漢堡。來了這裡,外賣小店。午市時間,人都無個。要個午餐,牛堡是也。即叫即煎,等等等等。十多分鐘,終於上枱。熱辣漢堡,夠哂大個。牛肉多汁,煎得剛好。伴有薯條,厚身熱氣。跟餐飲品,罐裝汽水。如是奶昔,定必加分。五十八蚊,一個漢堡。

Cul-De-Sac during normal hours is just another Burger & Chips joint which no one takes seriously as a viable food source, much like its sibling outley in Lan Kwai Fong. But as it gradually enters into the late hours the more it shall become alive, rising to its own prominence amidst other busy bars and clubs within Wanchai district. It doesn't close until 6:00am for obvious explanations and no doubt its planted here only to cater for us drunken dudes and girls in need of a late night or early

It doesn't close until 6:00am for obvious explanations and no doubt its planted here only to cater for us drunken dudes and girls in need of a late night or early morning feast. The more grease the better for soaking up that alcohol right ~ who cares about food quality.


But the Beef and Lamb Burgers here are indeed done acceptably well. Made from imported Grade A quality New Zealand meats, during the morning-after you might not recall fully that the patties were overcooked and pungently peppery/mustardy, nor that the buns were under toasted.... But even if you weren't in your best state of mind and having trouble distinguishing between your close friends from unknown strangers you'd barely met 10 minutes ago, you'll still recognise a pretty detectable meatiness taste in your lamb or beef burger.

The Fried then Baked Cheese Fries with Mayo dip is perenially under-salted, with the cheese tasting more like a watered down bechame saucel, but cheese with fries is a beer's best friend. It can be still prove to be that exact oasis you're looking for as supper, as most bars would have shut their kitchen around 10:30pm ~ many shops such as Delaney's owner wouldn't mind you bringing in some take out food from Cul-De-Sac to go down with their beers. Remembering that ~ It'll just sell them more beers in the end. Ask the various shops' staff to confirm if its ok first, just to be safe!

Although it is quite expensive, their food is decent, the chips, subs are good.Chips not too burnt, lots of condiments, such as salts, malt vinegar, white vinegar, ketchup, mayonnaise etc.The portions are slightly smaller than before.The Steak sub is an aromatic medly of onions, green peppars, cheese and beef.

Although it is quite expensive, their food is decent, the chips, subs are good.
Chips not too burnt, lots of condiments, such as salts, malt vinegar, white vinegar, ketchup, mayonnaise etc.

The portions are slightly smaller than before.

The Steak sub is an aromatic medly of onions, green peppars, cheese and beef.

去演藝睇野之前,拿拿林食野先,咁就去呢間就腳鬼佬野啦。呢到三間舖仔已經食左kebab,真係好好味,之前經過隔離呢間舖,已經有個鬼佬話好味,叫我地入去,今次就真係要試埋啦。我地兩個人叫左一份fish and chips。佢新鮮炸幾熱辣辣,d魚都幾嫩,又有陣香草味,好味過英國d魚,可惜唔夠厚囉。d薯條都好新鮮,可惜唔夠英國個d大條同有薯味,始終香港d薯條冇咁好味。呢間舖係由兩個好似賓賓的人主理,我地趕時間睇野,個阿姐炸野真係炸得太"摩"!d他他汁唔夠多,俾多少少都唔怕喇! 但個舖面細細間,周圍又多鬼佬,又令我想起歐洲!

Whenever I can't think of where to get my lunch, I always ended up in this place. I especially love their chicken burger and poutine. I have had cheese fries in the US before and luuurve it but can't find it in HK. So this place is heaven to me. Fries with cheese and hot gravy, what more can you ask for?

在"迪蘭尼:酒吧旁邊的Cul-De-Sac,似足外國的take away店,所以在這一帶,吸引不少酒客光顧.這處的漢堡,薯條,價錢比酒吧便宜,有好些人先來此打定底,才上酒館飲兩杯.這一次小弟就在此吃些東西,後飲兩杯.炸魚薯條即叫即炸,薯條很厚,但未算是真正的Chips,炸魚脆漿不厚,即炸起當然香脆,魚肉夠嫩滑.想吃得豐富一點,可再加些醬汁.個人覺得,白醋才是Fish & Chips最佳配搭.其他如HP saurce,茄汁,對我而言是多餘.自奧卑利街的S&M關門之後,在香港已很難找到英倫風味的炸魚薯條了.吃過很多地方,也找不到近乎S&M的味道.未來一兩年期間也未必再渡英倫,唯有在繼續在香港街頭穿梭,尋找英倫味,果然崇英崇到底.

有時會覺得漢堡店很可愛,尤其是喝得滿肚啤酒的時候。充滿酒精的胃部,可以無限容納澱粉質,加上燒烤紅肉,無以上之。是日與波友在隔離舖睇住人地輸波,開心不已,喝多了啤酒,溜出來這邊抖抖,兼吃個漢堡包。包是即叫即製,芝麻包加上剷平了的漢堡牛肉,燒得還有點焦香。配上生菜、青瓜、洋蔥、蕃茄,加上最普通的茄汁及芥辣,雖然簡單,但受用~~至少胃是舒適了不少,有時吃東西,也要看天時地利,是晚覺得這個漢堡,相當討好。雖然我比較喜歡這裡的牧羊人漢堡,但是晚吃牛肉也幾對胃口的。可能有船埋岸,成街都係水兵,吃完包也快快歸位,不宜久留。埋單45蚊,又去飲過。

Cul-De-Sac, 用一個親切一點的譯名, 死胡同最貼切. 說灣仔店, 位置在大街大巷, 絕對不是死胡同, 相反, 老蘭間, 的確是位於一條死胡同內.這裡Serve的, 是西式Fast food, Pizza, Salad. 不用想, 都是漢堡...it can't be wrong with a burger.即叫即做, 漢堡加足料 (生菜, 青爪, 洋蔥, 番茄), 芝士再加$8 塊扒不算靚, 不過都是新鮮扒. 一個Box仔俾你. 快食, 快走. 食過其他Burger專門店, Cul-De-Sec, 需要Improve.

一試過後,對她的魚柳包念念不忘,星期六放工後跟男友來回味一番。男友今次要了wellington burger(beef),我要了regular o既wharf burger(fish)。坦白說,今次失水準,塊魚用太多油來煎,而且dressing落得太重手,幸而包身烘得外脆內軟,男友也說beef 味只是ok,不及第一次有驚喜。可能是因為唔同o左人,所以先會咁,下次若再見到這兩位女士負責,也不敢再吃,希望上次那兩位後生又型o既鬼仔快點回來便好了!

超正,fish burger 塊魚柳唔係炸的,三大塊魚柳+ 蕃茄+洋蔥+生菜到山咁高,個包烘得又香又脆,超正!另外pizza實在太多餡,男友說食到一半已經覺得好滯。原來fries可以叫佢加curry sauce或satay sauce,完全免費,用慣茄汁蘸薯條,試o下其他sauce都唔錯。

I had been craving for thick cut fries for quite a while. There's something different between the ones you get as a side to your main course in a fancy restaurant and ones you get at a diner or a snack shop.I walked past Cul de Sac with my friend JUST as I was thinking about how much I missed those fries and we decided to get a box of thick cut fries to go. $25 for a HUGE box jammed FULL of fries!!! It was still piping hot. The fries were SO good. I really hadn't had fries that good for a LOOOO

I walked past Cul de Sac with my friend JUST as I was thinking about how much I missed those fries and we decided to get a box of thick cut fries to go. $25 for a HUGE box jammed FULL of fries!!! It was still piping hot. The fries were SO good. I really hadn't had fries that good for a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG long time. We were walking from Wan Chai to Pacific Place and even when we got there, we still had almost half a box left!!

I've been a fan of Cul-de-Sac ever since. The pizza (by the slice) is just as good - hot, cheesy...just like the pizza you get in Downtown New York. I also tried the fries in cheese and gravy...those were good but I gotta say - the plain thick cut fries were the BEST!!!
