六客點心、一客蒸飯,沒有加一、只收茗茶,最後以$175買單。總結而言,這回的點心沒令我失望,很欣賞店子堅持即叫即蒸,所花的心機及時間比「一大籠」預先蒸起之貨色來得有誠意,且能保持食物的味道及質素,「食物要趁熱食才好食嘛!!」

後記:科技發達、互聯網(internal)普及,令一眾如我等凡人能自由於網上發表個人意見,又或是抒發工作上的鬱悶情緒(我個人的大前提是在不影響現實生活及他人利益之下)。

走在街上的陌路人、你身邊的他或她,也可能是youtuber、blogger,甚至是著名討論區的紅人也說不定。

(雖知道網絡很危險,我卻是不會放棄的,這份堅持,已維持了十年。)

點心店,soho區食點心!?成件事好fusion喎反正一行4人行到有啲餓即刻撲入去試下虛實!店入雖然唔算大但唔會令人有焗促感覺,而且可以透過玻璃見到師傅整點心,只要對自己店舖衛生程度高先敢做!一行4人人均消費都只係幾十蚊,價錢抵到叫之餘食物質素亦相當高,由於每款點心都係一碟3件,4個人就唔可以平分,所以下次必試比較高價既蟹粉/黑松露小籠包!

Other Info. : 整體感覺很好,味道一流,價錢也合理,以中環來說甚至是抵食,如果每檯有自己的茶㝞更好,那就不需 waitress 頻頻加茶了,畢竟中式茶杯較細,一口就飲完。。。 值得再去! 特別是有時候只想食少少東西加杯茶,不想大魚大肉,這是一個好選擇。

we ordered dimsum for the team. i work in cheungkong center and we ordered for lunch so didn't really expect the food to be hot and fresh.. just hope they will not be too cold and soggy! but to our surprise, dimsums came as HOT and FRESH  also tasted so good!! it was better than take-away from tim ho wan after waiting in such a looooooooong queue dominated by tourists.. we ordered around 30-40 plates of dimsums and delivery time was ok given it was during lunch and in central. very satisfied and

Tried this new dim sum restaurant on Elgin road opposite Vbest Tea House which used to be the only Chinese restaurant there.The prices between Vbest and Ding dim 1968 are very different.There is no 10% service charge but there is a $3 per person tea charge.Dim sums cost around $2x per basket which is cheap dining in Central.The restaurant was quite small but evidently successful because it was almost 99% full.Nice interior and the staff wear Tshirts printed with Ding Dim 1968.Cute model trolley.

I think they should have a teapot on each table so that diners can refill tea themselves as the staff were quite busy.

While I was eating, I found some hair (which looked like a piece of eyelash) embedded in the dumpling skin so I informed one of the waitresses.
You could hear the chef in the background making an issue that I should have found more hairs instead of one and he said I should have taken photographs which I regret not doing because he probably thought I was framing him.

Initially the chef wanted to replace that one dumpling but the manager said to give a full portion.

To be honest, their dim sums are not expensive if they thought I was trying to get more and it would not bother me to just get one or a full portion!!

This was interesting because it had CRINKLE CUT CHIPS beneath it.
According to Ding Dim 1968 traditionally chopped potatoes and lotus roots are used, French fries have been an alternative in HK in some restaurants, for below reason:
Chopped potatoes and蓮藕 are normally used to keep the chicken/pork ribs a-floated (from the oily but tasty sauce) but most of the time they are not eaten and go to waste... French fries, on the contrary, are consumed as observed (similar to poutine!)

鼎點焗叉燒飽:酥脆外皮,與飽底都好香口,餡料足而且叉燒淋,熱騰騰時吃尤其驚艷。蟹子燒賣皇:燒賣好大粒,大大隻蝦,唔會好似淨係食緊豬肉咁,而且食落無肥肉! 但一籠只有3粒!!鳳爪排骨飯:份量足,味道幾好,排骨幾淋,鳳爪入味。1個人食3樣食物都已經好飽,而且只係$67:)

朋友介紹下知道今個月開了一間新的點心店 - 鼎點,今日返工食午飯的時候決定和同事一起去「一盅兩件」。因為新開未算好多人知的關係,一去到就有位了,但坐位不多,我相信遲些出名的時候會更難等位。型式不像茶樓,好像"添好運"一樣,而裝修比較新派,可能近期天氣炎熱的關係,近窗那邊的坐位比較熱。食物方面大多數感覺上都是即叫即整,款式方面都有特色的食品,例如賽螃蟹春卷。食材很新鮮,味道上很不錯,賣相精緻,份量方面一般都係3件,如果4個人去就很難分,價錢一般一份二十多元,係中環來說非常大眾化,如果想食精緻點心又唔想太貴這間就非常合適。

我們今天中午來吃午餐,點了蟹粉小籠包,蟹子燒賣皇,豉汁排骨,賽螃蟹春卷和鳳爪排骨飯。每個點心都是新鮮製造, 所以等侍時間長一點。蟹粉小籠包有香濃的蟹黃味。蟹子燒賣皇味道鮮美可口,一點都不油膩。豉汁排骨肉質鮮嫩和入味。賽螃蟹春卷外脆內嫩。鳳爪排骨飯, 鳳爪鮮嫩, 味美飯香,好吃。直得去試一下!!
