Friday night at FINI'S! This is our second time visiting this place, but I would say the food didn't really meet our expectations like last time. We booked at 8 pm but we arrived at the restaurant half an hour earlier than expected. The staff was nice enough to let us in and we were seated at the bar table. The environment was great and the bar seatings are also comfortable. I would recommend sitting there as well if you ever visit since you could directly get your drinks from the bar counter. I

It was also a pleasure watching the bartender make drinks by the bar.
To begin with, we ordered a drink for each of us first. I ordered a glass of Prosecco ($80) and my boyfriend ordered a cocktail - Aperol Spritz ($80) (Aperol, Prosecco, Soda, Orange Wedge). The drinks were fine and we don't have to finish the drink before the food was served.
The first dish that was served was FINI's Caesar Salad ($120). The salad had a generous amount of dressing and we added smoked salmon on the side. Both were great together and the salad was a good starter. Also, the salad was topped with a generous amount of toasted garlic, which made the salad very tasty.
We only ordered two dishes, and the next one is an 18' pizza. Honestly, we regretted ordering an 18' because it was too big for us and we could barely finish it. Anyways, just a warm reminder that even if you don't order other things like pasta, 12' is way more than enough for a party of 2.
We ordered the Buffalo Chicken Deluxe ($345). When my boyfriend tried it in the Wan Chai branch, they had more shredded cheese and green onions on top. However, the one we tried at the SOHO branch wasn't anything like the one from Wan Chai Branch. There was way too much sauce and not a lot of cheese. We have to ask ourselves for extra green onion as well. Overall, the pizza was quite salty and it didn't taste as good as before.
We didn't order any dessert as we were quite full already, but I would really love to try their skillet cookie next time if I have the chance.
