1st Course:
- Buffalo bresaola from Campania
- Burrata from Andria, seasonal tomatoes, basil
- Marinated anchovies, lemon, mint and chillil
The burrata dish won my heart over the other two dishes
From the presentation to its' taste, no complaints.

2nd Course:
- Yellowtail carpaccio, eggplant, anchovies colatura, lemon balm
The yellowtail's fish oil was lit and its' umami taste was unleashed in my mouth. Went so well with eggplants, and the lemon balm did a good job to dim the greasiness.

3rd Course:
- Spaghetti, Atlantic lobster, piennolo tomato, basil
The lobster was so soft and tender yet bouncy.
Spaghetti was in a perfect al dente state.

4th Course:
- Roasted pork tenderloin, apple purée, Swiss chard, red wine reduction
It's so soft and tender that I don't think I need to chew. Felt like I was having a marshmellow!

5th Course:
- TIRAMISU ALL'AMARETTO Espresso coffee, ladyfinger biscuit, mascarpone, amareto

The waiter came to us and scooped the tiramisu on our plates. Love that home-made feel. Overall, it's rich, thick and concentrated. Never had this quality before. Perfect ending!

Since this is a celebration dinner, we had a complimentary chocolate cake, and it was so rich so chocolatey! Perfect ending times two!

The restaurant allowed him to keep the birthday cake in the fridge at 2sth before they closed at 3pm after lunch. All the food was served looking beautiful, with a still hot temperature. We ordered the 5-course seasonal menu, and two cocktails (~$2400). The famous grissini breadstick was freshly baked, smoking hot, crispy and soft inside. Spaghetti was al Dante, and the wagyu beef was cooked to perfection as requested medium rare.

Our server was extremely pleasant and helpful. And took beautiful pictures for us. The cake was served at a perfect time, and turns out it was only an additional $35 to have the cake inside! They also gave me a birthday card with a picture. Thank you for all you do. You made my birthday memorable this year.

Began with welcoming smiles, the staffs were passionate and sincere to bring me into the lovely place and sit near the front of window seats where can spot in skyscrapers of Victoria Harbor. Comes with renaissance décor, it inspired me to immerse in the Mediterranean city, cultivating fresh ingredients and culinary arts. For the courses, antipasto and dolce were remarkable for their food combination and completion of flavors. The presentation of dishes remained the balance between tradition and creativity. Along with pursuit of simplicity, it is the charming point of Italian cuisine to appreciate the tastiness of fresh ingredients. Impressed by the phenomenal food, Grissini was successful to reach the essential standard on quality of fine-dining experience. 

On the other hand, I would like to praise what Grissini did on their atmosphere to keep the image of restaurant. Teams are active to approach with the guests and share the believes of southern Italian cuisines as well. As the personable service they made, it is the reason why I will choose Grissini again for breadsticks and its ambient. (i.e. Scoop of Tiramisu highlights the special experience in the way of hospitality)

All in all, I was thrilled to have unforgettable moment in Grissini, grazie di cuore!

Beef tartare 是Grissini的招牌頭盤之一。牛肉滑順而仍帶粒粒的口感,調味較輕手,也沒有紫洋蔥、酸瓜碎等,因此能食出牛肉的本味。牛肉本身的食材很優質,肉味濃而鮮甜,牛脂香腴。魚子醬帶鮮味,雖然不至於令人眼前一亮,不過份量慷慨,不能要求太多。如白色醬汁般的buffalo milk yogurt偏酸,另配上方塊狀的雞湯啫喱。這道頭盤值得加錢一試,不過比起來,我更喜歡burrata和番茄的那個組合,只因這盤牛他他的各種素材味道未算非常融和,yogurt和雞湯啫喱都和牛肉有些格格不入(不過這當然視乎個人口味)。

主菜點了上次也有點的羊里脊。之前的burrata前菜在點菜後等了40分鐘才上,另因侍應落錯其中一個朋友的前菜,牛他他更多等了20分鐘,到全枱人上齊頭盤時,都差不多一小時過去了。侍應在上菜時也連聲道歉。可能餐廳想追回進度,減少主菜的等候時間,這次的羊里脊只是微暖,好像已經煮好一段時間,除了面頭那塊是剛好的medium之外,其餘的都偏熟(可能是在等我們吃完前菜時,一直放在爐上保溫?),所以肉質變硬了些,肉汁也較少,有點可惜。不過羊肉本身品質好,所以雖然口感稍硬,味道還是和上次一樣,帶濃郁的羊肉味和完全無渣。最好吃的是肉和皮之間那層薄薄的脂肪,入口即融,羊脂味非常香。

Tiramisu 絕對是再訪的其中一個原因!吃過主菜後,侍應細心清乾淨枱面的麵包碎,放好甜品用的碟和餐具,便一直滿心期待甜品登場。Mascarpone cream打得如雲朵般輕盈,綿密又順滑,一啖一啖吃完全不覺膩。加上lady fingers 浸滿了expresso和杏仁酒,加添了濕潤的口感之餘,咖啡香、酒香配上mascarpone的奶香,組合成超乎想像的美味;再配上一口熱茶,非常滿足。

在香港高級西餐廳未進入百花齊放的年代,當年其中一間既好食又不嚴重Formal的餐廳,一定要數到在君悅酒店的Grissini。想當年,我認為這是香港數一數二的意大利餐廳。雖然是位於5星級酒店,但能夠多年來保持餐廳質素,面對種種不同的因素,可能是換廚師、換管理者、換方向等等,加上外在因素面對更多後起的對手,實在非常不簡單。最近再次踏足Grissini,這地方獨有的輕奢氣派不減當年,更多了一做親和力,比以前更加welcoming。餐廳名字是Grissini,當然其Grissini Bread是最負責盛名的。一別多年,我真心覺得他們現在的Grissini Bread比以前更好味!雖然我不吃牛肉,都要推介他們的頭盤薄切牛仔肉,一定回味!這裡一向出名墨汁意粉,但就不是我慣常的選擇,因為唔想食到成口黑晒。不同的意大利麵出品都有好水準,而我最鍾情是他們的Tiramisu,他們不是一杯一杯上,而是Tiramisu用一大個容器裝滿,到枱前才𢳂一大份給你。若然你夠大胃口,對著服務員說聲 "May I get more?" 他們一定會滿足你的要求!

Warm and Fluffy Breadsticks: The star of the show is undoubtedly the homemade breadsticks. Served warm, they are incredibly soft and fluffy. Dipping them in the accompanying olive oil and vinegar is a classic and satisfying start to the meal.

Prosciutto Perfection: The 24-month aged Prosciutto di Parma is a must-try. Its saltiness is perfectly balanced, and the thin slices practically melt in your mouth. Wrapping it around the breadsticks, as suggested by the restaurant, is a delightful combination.

Pasta and Risotto: The homemade saffron pappardelle with wild boar ragout and rapini leaf is a flavorful and satisfying dish. The Carnaroli rice with Jerusalem artichoke, sea asparagus, and hazelnut offers a unique twist. While hazelnut in risotto might not be for everyone, it adds an interesting texture and subtle nutty flavor.

Tiramisu Triumph: The tiramisu is a showstopper, both visually and in taste. Scooping into it with a large spoon is a satisfying experience. The mascarpone cheese is incredibly smooth and airy, like melted marshmallow. The cake is also generously soaked in liqueur, making it a truly decadent dessert. It's no wonder it's considered one of the best in Hong Kong!

A Special Celebration: We were celebrating a friend's special occasion, and the staff at Grissini went above and beyond to make it memorable. They kindly prepared a cake for us, adding a personal touch to our evening.

Overall: Grissini delivers a fantastic Italian dining experience. From the warm breadsticks to the exquisite tiramisu, every dish is crafted with care and high-quality ingredients. The staff's attentiveness and kindness further elevated our experience. It's definitely a place worth visiting for a special occasion or a delicious Italian meal.
