有個為食兼嘴刁嘅朋友話一講羊腩煲其中一間別是嘅就係呢一間位於油麻地內街嘅潮州打冷店,今日終於有機會試到。因為得三個人所以原本諗住要個細嘅羊腩煲,點知夥計哥哥話我哋三個都咁大隻,叫個大羊腩煲啦,其實細羊腩煲$398大羊腩煲只係貴$100,見夥計哥哥咁有誠意而且都係有高人推介,我哋三個決定要個大羊腩煲。個羊腩煲好快已經到咗,應該係預先整好然後雪住佢有客叫就即刻攞出嚟雖然滾翻起要一段時間,不過比起平時食到嘅羊腩,呢個似乎入味啲,個鍋好大,可惜幅相顯示唔到佢嘅震撼度,入面亦都係好多羊腩,我哋三個夾極都有,夥計哥哥仲話呢個係潮州食羊腩煲,入面基本上都係羊腩,冇其他配料,所以好足料,羊腩多到爆,真係好食。

可能太高期望所以對於食物有些少失望

如果加水就會沖淡左,加湯就會愈食愈咸,啤酒唔影響濃淡仲會多左陣麥味,講到好有道理咁,於是我地又試下,感覺都ok喎😂

第一次嚟呢間位於油麻地嘅潮州打冷。喺油麻地地鐵站C出口附近。今次試咗好多菜式。大部份都好好味👍。椒鹽九肚魚、炸生蠔、煎蠔餅,全部都好香口好好味。滷水鵝、小炒王都好好味😋同一大班朋友,去食潮州打冷,就最好不過。可以叫好多野食。又可以飲下啤酒傾吓偈。甜品我哋叫咗焦糖反沙芋。反沙芋我就食得多,但係呢一隻焦糖反沙芋我就真係第一次試。好特別!同平時食嗰隻反沙芋一樣咁好味。我個人就好鍾意一大班人去打冷食飯。餸菜好味之餘,又夠經濟實惠。不過地方環境就唔會太舒服。

味道沒有特別好吃,聲稱打冷/潮洲的店最基本必要的滷水,做得不好,食材本來不入味,只靠外面的滷水醬油,失望!整體上所有餸菜還好,但服務態度足以令人卻步。每人桌上均有一個杯子,但是我們已經用咗喝熱茶,隨後點餐叫啤酒,問店員取杯子喝啤酒,那個年輕曲髮男店員一句「你哋飲晒佢囉~(指在喝茶的杯)」真莫名其妙!!!即是我們把茶喝完,但杯子是熱的,用來喝啤酒感覺好嗎?隨後,我們問另一位女店員,她爽快就給了。然後,安排到最入的走廊,非常擠逼,所以店員會叫客人把袋子放在石壆上。偶爾牆身有小強🪳走過,進吃的過程,常常觀察會否有小強入到我袋。一間餐廳即使更好吃,但存在一位態度輕浮無禮的店員,簡直是老鼠屎。

煎蠔餅:一上枱有啲嚇親,有成兩大塊,新鮮熱辣炸起。感覺上蠔仔飽滿,炸粉薄,唔會食到成口粉,唔會好油膩,食幾多都得。

My cousin's girlfriend is visiting HK for the first time so we decided to bring her to a local authentic dai pai dong for dinner. Knew that this place is famous for its chiu chow cuisine and has over 50 years history, we quickly reserved a table.

It was a thursday night and we arrived at 1900, restaurant was already packed with diners. There're 2 storey and we were assigned to a table upstairs. Be careful when you walk cuz the floor is very sticky and slippery!

Staff here are quick and efficient, they brought us a big bowl and a pot of hot tea for utensils washing once we get seated. Menu was long so we read it for awhile. The staff then came and recommended us some of its signature dishes. We finally ordered stir-fried morning glory in fermented bean curd sauce, roasted pigeon, stir-fried clams in black bean sauce, yeung chau fried rice, deep fried tofu and gau tou yu with pepper salt.

Dishes were served hot and could tell they had enough wok hay just from the visuals. Morning glory was garlicky, umami, aromatic with rich fermented bean curd flavour! Stems retained the crunchy texture, good job! Tofu and gau tou yu were deep-fried to perfection, both had crispy crust and pillowy soft center. Not greasy at all, I gave them a big thumb up🤤

Stir-fried clams in black bean sauce was a bit too spicy and salty for me, not my cup of tea. Yeungchau fried rice was a surprise, there were chopped char siu, shrimps, kai lan, egg and scallion in it. Rice was stir fried to dry, individual grains were nicely separated and didn't stick together! Yum!

Overall, it's a good spot for gatherings if you don't mind the noisy environment.
