和太太周末諗住食好啲,叫半隻海南雞(約$109),一個蕃茄牛腩煲(約$70)同豬頸肉炒飯。想不到上菜時,海南雞半隻得例牌5件雞胸肉1隻雞翼,而蕃茄牛腩煲得幾粒牛腩碎粒(少過一碗牛腩麵)。咁我諗可能好好食,就試蕃茄牛腩,一試就知茄膏汁加芡開水。咁就叫侍應講蕃茄煲無蕃茄,半隻雞變例牌幾件雞,係咪攪錯咗,佢話係咁無錯。我於是直接找老闆,佢就同我講唔好意思,廚房姐姐新黎。唔緊要,肯改番俾我就算。換過碟之後,我見到店方從原本6件雞加咗多一半肉,看上去係半隻雞。食落發覺加番幾件肉,包括雞肶肉。這6件雞肶肉同出面食任何一間海南雞差唔多。但其餘的雞肉就係有一半咬到有渣的雞胸,有雪味同埋係隔夜唔新鮮的。從未食過咁難食!而再煮的蕃茄牛腩有改進,加咗兩粒車厘茄!成餐兩餸一飯無飲嘢,盛惠305!

今天下午來到花墟附近辦事,要先吃飽才有氣力,經過一列的餐廳,最後選了這間泰國菜。點了 $35的 "湯粉套餐",可以轉撈檬,雙拼再加$6,配凍飲再加$5。今天真的很餓,於是點了豬頸肉和牛仔骨撈檬。這店午市客人都不少,出菜有點慢,看到另一檯一對情侶在催單,還好我不是太趕時間。凍檸茶先到,味道有點怪怪,茶底跟一般港式凍檸茶有點不同,有點 "薄荷"的感覺,不太合我口味。而且很少冰,不夠凍。等了一陣子,撈檬終於到了。看上去賣相很好,鋪滿了肉和配菜,而且有很多我至愛的炸紅蔥。撈檬的檬粉做得很好,很彈牙,份量亦多。蔬菜也多,蘿蔔絲,青瓜絲,生菜絲,撈起來份外豐富。最好的事他們給予很多的魚露,令整碗粉充滿魚露香味,很好吃!乾身的豬頸肉,配上嫩滑厚肉的牛仔骨,的確是一個非常美味又豐富的午餐!午市的價錢亦不算貴,看到鄰桌點的炒金邊粉好像也很好吃,立即在想甚麼時候可以再來一次呢!

今天真的很餓,於是點了豬頸肉和牛仔骨撈檬。

這店午市客人都不少,出菜有點慢,看到另一檯一對情侶在催單,還好我不是太趕時間。

凍檸茶先到,味道有點怪怪,茶底跟一般港式凍檸茶有點不同,有點 "薄荷"的感覺,不太合我口味。

而且很少冰,不夠凍。

等了一陣子,撈檬終於到了。

看上去賣相很好,鋪滿了肉和配菜,而且有很多我至愛的炸紅蔥。

撈檬的檬粉做得很好,很彈牙,份量亦多。

蔬菜也多,蘿蔔絲,青瓜絲,生菜絲,撈起來份外豐富。

最好的事他們給予很多的魚露,令整碗粉充滿魚露香味,很好吃!

乾身的豬頸肉,配上嫩滑厚肉的牛仔骨,的確是一個非常美味又豐富的午餐!

午市的價錢亦不算貴,看到鄰桌點的炒金邊粉好像也很好吃,立即在想甚麼時候可以再來一次呢!

香葉肉碎炒飯,不是每間泰國菜館都能吃到,能吃到又不一定讓人叫好。.吃過最差的不辣不香,吃過微辣偏甜的,今天能在金滿象正宗泰國菜吃到香辣有鑊氣的炒飯,在這個不太冷微涼的冬季,心仍是感動得溫暖。.以一位女性來說,這碟飯根本over正常食用量,實在好吃得驚訝自能夠吃罷一碟足以跟男仕體齊的飯量,那種無法抗拒獨特的泰式香味,沒有多餘的蝦乾蛋散,就是最基本香葉豆角肉碎,把炒飯發揮得淋漓盡致,每一粒飯都裹着泰式香氣,讓人一口接一口把整碟飯吃完!.這就是我最鐘愛的味道!每次路經一定幫陳的香葉肉碎炒飯。

星期六早上到花墟走走,直至中午十二時行過呢間泰國食店,當時大約12時40分入座,店內還有抬未滿客,坐下已經立即點了一個午餐套餐,食物五分鐘到達,當然食物已一早準備好只是由廚房送到,所以好快上菜及份量唔多,不夠10分鐘已經差不多食完,但當我食緊嘅時間有好多客人入黎,當時有一個肥女人(相信係老闆娘)就要我換位比其他人,我當時食緊嘢無理佢,其實跟本就唔使搞咁多嘢,我只係取回我放對面位張空椅嘅背襄我就冇理佢,但當我放下餐具去接背包時我嘅午餐已經比人搬走左,個肥女人已經問我重有無其他嘢要,即是提我要走,但我重有一杯沙冰未飲完我又唔理佢,再過5分鐘肥女人又黎問我語氣直情話無嘢就走啦,當時真🔥都黎,我只係坐低10幾分鐘唔係個幾鐘,即使我只叫一個午餐(其他人都係一樣叫午餐)都唔使趕人走,咁嘅服務態度就算好食到飛起都唔會唔會再去😡😡况且味道一般,環境擠迫,12時55分已離開,不用再睇人面色,這次係我出街食飯最難受的一次。

今晚約了朋友們聚舊,想吃一下泰國菜,朋友就建議了這間餐館。餐館裝修也頗光猛,而且細心留意一下會發覺有很多大象做裝飾,也頗為特別。點了幾個菜後,上菜速度也比預期中快,幸好我們四個人侍應也給了我們六人枱,如不,也不夠位置放食物呢!各款菜式味道適中,不會太辣,適合大眾化的口味,今次是太子分店,下次有機會可去旺角分店再試試看~

牛骨湯豬頸肉蒙粉湯底值得一讚,清甜可口,牛味好濃但冇味精味,一路食個蒙粉都停唔到口飲個湯。豬頸肉就不過不失,有d韌。冬陰公豬排金邊粉賣相唔錯,但冬陰公湯底酸度同辣度都唔夠,反而豬排就炸得幾通透,有保留到少少香茅味青檸梳打夠晒清新,可以去除油膩感

去花墟買完花,喺附近行吓睇吓有咩食,友人選擇咗呢間,意外地原來之前都食過廣華街嗰間,份量偏少價錢少貴。我哋坐收錢旁邊個位,老闆娘今日在場,一入去已細心叫我哋放好盤花。我哋叫嘅菜唔多又要求多多,但老闆娘都無「炸形」。分量比想像中大,而且價錢同其他平均70蚊小食比較特別平。兩隻大大隻雞全翼雞追部份切開上,方便食。極多炸蒜,賣相吸引。雞肉嫩滑多汁。炸蒜單食有啲苦,但夾埋雞翼就好好味。大件夾抵食兼好食推介。呢度所有菜式都賣相精美,美中不足係上菜次序有少少問題,上咗主菜主食先上小食。呢個係特別order,原本素菜只配黃咖哩,但老闆娘幫我哋改青咖哩。青咖哩顏色吸引,像牛油果嘅迷人青綠色,唔辣。蔬菜份量多,有泰國茄子、豆角、蕃茄仔、粟米仔、椰菜同金不換,送飯一流。喺老闆娘用泰文指導下,泰籍員工們表現落力,仔細地擺餐具,有效率地收碟,加水,像高級餐廳嘅質素。老闆娘親切地親自同我哋加水,談笑風生天南地北,偷快的一餐。

呢度所有菜式都賣相精美,美中不足係上菜次序有少少問題,上咗主菜主食先上小食。
呢個係特別order,原本素菜只配黃咖哩,但老闆娘幫我哋改青咖哩。青咖哩顏色吸引,像牛油果嘅迷人青綠色,唔辣。蔬菜份量多,有泰國茄子、豆角、蕃茄仔、粟米仔、椰菜同金不換,送飯一流。

喺老闆娘用泰文指導下,泰籍員工們表現落力,仔細地擺餐具,有效率地收碟,加水,像高級餐廳嘅質素。老闆娘親切地親自同我哋加水,談笑風生天南地北,偷快的一餐。

坦白講如果餐廳唔會幫客人點蠟燭係OK 的, 但應該先同我講聲, 等我攪掂好自己拎個蛋糕出黎。

湯中有烏頭魚 頗好吃的
食緊條魚既同時 就可以用湯煮金邊粉同生菜
但吃不得辣的 較難入口

整體來說 這個象塔 味道不錯

My friends and I had a mini reunion and decided to go to Icon Thai - never tried it but glad that I have now. Their staff were very nice and polite, first thing they asked was whether we were comfortable in the table we chose coz we were sweating like pigs (darn HK weather) and suggested we move some place cooler. Can't remember all of their names but I'll try to describe them as much as I can, so we ordered these...

- Tom Yum soup
- Pomelo Shrimp salad
- Cabbage sprouts
- Shrimp cakes
- Pumpkin fried rice
- Fried grouper fish (sliced into pieces) ← OMG, this is to die for.
- Thai milk tea (awesome!)

The restaurant's environment was very relaxing, very clean and organized.

We booked for 6pm, got there around 6:15pm and ate til 8:30pm... altho it was supposedly only for 2 hrs, the staff weren't rushing to get rid of us and were even kind enough to answer our questions about their food... which was nice coz we got some ingredients that hopefully we can adapt to our own homecooking.

All in all, I'd give it 10/10 and will definitely come back for more. Love love love it!
