Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. 外國回來的鄰居世伯約飲茶啊。現在住在太子道的他,永遠都是喜歡到新世紀廣場的酒樓,飲茶食點心。所以,這一次的聚會,也約了在該商場食肆層的《翠園》,飲茶,食午飯。那天,是星期日,先攞位的我們發現原來不用排太耐隊。咁我們兩家人,一行七人,開心地聚舊,開比地飲茶。當然,睇住我大的伯伯見我帶著兩個小朋友來,更是高興。那天,朋友仍在教會趕來,先到而且帶有小朋友的我們就先行點餐。然而,最啱小朋友食的,就是蝦餃燒賣。而《翠園》,是大集團的酒樓,而且是該集團的一個比較商端既品牌。所以,他們做出來的點心,質素上應該有保證。筍尖鮮蝦餃,皮算是夠晶瑩,但不夠剔透。不過,不會黏著彼此已經是質素好的表現。吃入口,是香筍同鮮蝦共同帶出的香味,絕對是鮮甜香口。蟹籽滑燒賣。電子餐牌把這燒賣形容為滑。吃入口的一刻,就立即感覺到,這燒賣用上了半肥瘦的豬肉,再加上鮮蝦碎粒來製作,入口軟軟的,口感也果然是滑滑的。朋友來到了,我們開始正式落單叫點心。其中的一個北菇棉花雞,是老少咸宜之選。魚肚是份外的 "棉" ,而且汁晒所有的雞味同湯汁。腍腍的,香香的,老人家的牙不好,也很容易食。說真,這美妙的東西,是內外都充滿味道的啊。香麻叉燒酥,如其名,充滿了芝麻香,也十分之酥香。輕輕一咬,層層皮的感覺很明顯。而叉燒酥的內心,絕對是充滿了一粒粒的叉燒,配合餡內的香甜叉燒醬,也是美妙得很的一個點心。豉汁煎釀三寶,有釀茄子,釀尖椒,同釀豆腐。這是外國伯伯的最愛。當年同他們一家在英國飲茶時,都會叫上這一個點心。是日的出品,似乎是油膩了少少,但勝在煎得夠香。食食下,令我懷念小時候,推車仔時代,即叫即煎的更美妙出品。香煎蘿蔔糕,也是一個老少咸宜的美味點心。這蘿蔔糕很好味,好味在於糕點用上了很多蘿蔔,而不是食到成口粉的一般版。夠香,夠蘿蔔味,點一點辣醬,更是惹味。懷舊馬拉糕,是一個人見人愛的甜味點心。加上了松籽,感覺又矜貴了不少。顏色深厚,似乎是用了黑糖來製作。因此,吃起來是份外香口的。口感同樣是軟軟綿綿,味道亦是香甜甜的,不錯。香茜牛肉腸粉,也是一個大人小朋友的喜歡的酒樓美點。酒樓的腸粉,好多時都可以用皮薄餡靚來形容。牛肉香,豉油香,腸粉亦夠薄夠煙韌。不錯。然後,就是炒飯粉麵了。飯,是煙三文魚帶子炒飯,因為用上了三文魚,令到炒出來的飯份外的香。有三文魚油的加持,令這飯份外的可口。粉麵類,就是乾炒牛河。很入味而且不油膩的乾炒牛河是最好食的。加上河粉煙韌而有味,令整碟炒粉都充滿豉香,也是 very good。地方大,也感覺寧靜。而且,寧靜得黎又不失飲茶既熱鬧感覺。以前都來過《翠園》好幾次。可以說,係一個飲茶傾計既好地方。 continue reading

難得與老朋友聚會,朋友說翠園最近有一個 $728片皮鴨海斑套餐幾吸引,所以就來這裡開餐,我們除了點咗那個片皮鴨套餐外還加咗一份是日例湯,佢哋啲例湯係分一份、半份咁叫的,因為有一位朋友未到,所以我們就先落單,然後跟服務員說待朋友到齊後才通知叫起菜,但服務員當時的態度表演出十分不滿意,還說等齊人才落單,我們說不用等,請幫忙先落單,因為怕朋友到咗嘅時候是日例湯就售完了,因為佢每日都有限定是日例湯的數目,所以就叫服務員先落單預留,待朋友到齊後便通知服務員可以上菜,第一道菜……..片皮鴨,超級唔掂,隻鴨不但凍冰冰,啲肥油完全凝固在鴨上,然之後鴨肉又乾,皮又唔脆,好似放咗成日先至拿出來,跟住等咗差唔多半小時之後才再出第二道菜 …… 涼瓜炆鴨件,又係凍冰冰,一啲都唔熱,我們就即時找了一位服務員處理,不但沒有處理還一個推一個,最後都沒有解決,在此期間有一個服務員走來跟我們說是日例湯已售罄,我們就更加火起,為什麼我在一個多小時前已落單預留的例湯,到現在才跟我說沒有,服務員還說最後一份被隔迫枱叫埋,我們當場就叫那位服務員找一個能話事的主管過嚟理論,在激烈的爭論後,那位主管唔知道從何調咗半份嘅湯來完場,老實講現在巿道已經不景氣,呢啲咁老牌嘅酒樓,不但沒有好好保持食物質素之外,就連服務員呢啲附帶條件上都咁差,還有就是餐具🫖☕️又污糟,杯碟上全是茶漬,好像沒有清洗乾淨,這樣下去,還怎樣可以令人留港消費呢 ?😪😪😪 continue reading
