This restaurant has been here for ages but I have never tried it until today because there are too many temptations in Central and Sheungwan.Finally tried it on a sunday when lots of other places were closed.Although it was pricey, the roast pork was amazing, you get to choose which cut to have and the menu clearly says that in English too.The pork was soft and tender and the fat didn't annoy me with a great taste.There have been lots of negative reviews so I was either lucky or it was sunday so

又是外賣日,好耐未嚐燒味了,很久都沒來金華了,記得最喜愛這裡的六安茶,但這次是外賣,沒有得飲呢。點了個叉燒拼切雞胸(少) 飯,白灼芥蘭。雖然是少飯, 但都有頗多, 足夠2個小胃口的女生, 餸都不少,雞胸有5件,叉燒有6件, 就算是雞胸都唔"un", 有d 雞味, 叉燒就算是瘦都不硬,就是飯比較爛一點。白灼芥蘭軟硬度剛好,最怕就是淋晒又變黃的菜,看得出亦不是菜頭菜尾,清洗得亦ok, 起碼沒有白色發泡膠粒,$15 算抵食, 而且好食。雖然係貴dd, 都是值得的。

白灼芥蘭軟硬度剛好,最怕就是淋晒又變黃的菜,看得出亦不是菜頭菜尾,清洗得亦ok, 起碼沒有白色發泡膠粒

今日係呢度叫左個叉燒飯,食左少少,見到飯入面有曱甴。我叫侍應過來睇下,佢一見到就快快手收左碗曱甴飯。問左我幾次要食咩其他野,我答佢話唔想食之後,佢十分不情願咁係張單刪除叉燒飯個價錢,但所有其他食物同飲品都要照比錢。食物有曱甴,一句唔好意思都無,張單照比錢。好似無事發生咁,咁樣做生意,仲會有下次幫襯嗎?

平時少出去中環,所以今日到中環做嘢都唔識去邊穩食,特別系中午,又要趕住盡快食完去繼續做嘢,唯有兩個人入巷去周圍穩,打算食個快餐解決就算喇,飯點時候基本好多店都排隊,見到金華燒臘大王人唔算多,就呢間喇。店內環境都幾干凈,係門口見到D燒臘唔錯,就點個燒臘飯。燒鵝飯都幾多燒鵝肉,表麵睇燒得唔錯,先食燒鵝皮試下先,皮燒得好脆,再咬開D皮仲有汁流出嚟,開始以為人唔多,仲以為唔好食,原嚟燒鵝咁唔錯,皮脆肉嫩,味道好夠。我試左件同事嘅叉燒飯,唔同其他一般店嘅叉燒有D硬,呢度嘅比較軟,口感比其他嘅要好一D,但個醬汁有少少咸,敗筆。

可以響中環多年迄立不倒,呢間燒味老店確實有令人欣賞既地方。半肥瘦叉燒肥膏同瘦肉分布清晰,入口即化,甘香可口,而且配上秘制既蜜糖燒味豉油,完全可以送多幾碗飯。最令人驚喜既係老火湯係全冇味精,一星期日日唔同款式,呢個係花生雞腳湯,有益又好味,單售10蚊。呢間好店裝修特別,而且好多人生感言掛響牆身,好有舊香港特色,見證香港歷史新舊交替既一面。

一碗肥叉少飯,但奇怪淋在叉燒上的不是豉油,是茨汁,個人認為淋上茨汁的叉燒頓時會失色不少,叉燒飯應該是灑上豉油的,至於那嚿肥叉,就吃不到香囗焦燶肥美感,只覺像吃燒汁豬肉,幸好叫了肥叉(曾猶豫叫半肥瘦), 嚿肉咬落都算夠軟身易入口,我只嫌它不太像叉燒!

是日的叉燒偏瘦身,表面油光亮澤,色澤亮麗,肉紋清晰可見,看上來沒有丁點兒邪惡感。叉燒四邊燒得焦黑而香脆非常,咬下,肉質軟腍具彈力且充滿肉香和鮮味,吃罷毫不膩口,加上適量的糖味兒,香甜中帶微微焦香的迷人魅力,倍添滋味,不愧是招牌菜也﹗後來,據其他食友食文,方知叉燒可要求瘦叉,肥叉或半肥瘦的。

相對而言,油潤有光澤、油脂滿佈的燒鵝入口充滿肉香和脂香,皮與肉之間有一層脂肪層,故入口較為油膩。肥厚而嫩滑的鵝肉入味帶嚼勁又不韌,咬下啖啖肉,甚是滿足。吃時,蘸上特製冰梅醬同吃,酸甜清新之餘,又可減油膩感!若燒鵝皮可香脆點兒,口感會更正斗。
