We really wanted to try the restaurant and I get it we did not have a reservation on a Friday night but we just asked the manager if we could make a reservation and he literally just showed us the way out and was very rude. It was so shocking to me. Never going back there. I felt discriminated against because of my race.

I go to this place very often, one of the best Japanese Izakaya  in Central, small, casual, very authentic.I mostly come for lunch as I work nearby but also had a few dinners there.Food is very fresh, delicious, good varieties.  Portion sizes are generous and enough for lunch sets. My favorite is Minced tuna don.I like it and will be going again and again.

As with most restaurants in SOHO, it is likely customers will tend to sit, chat and a good time. Instead, the manager came about and asked us if we wanted to order more food, as they have other customers. We willingly ordered as we were waiting for another friend to come by. By the time our friend arrived, we asked for the bill, the manager told us that we spent below the minimum spending, and also he has to charge us more because our friend sat on the chair (for like 1 minute). In the end, we were forced to order an additional dish just because of that.  Furthermore, the manager was extremely rude when he spoke to us. 

Had the staff informed us of the cutoff dining time and a minimum charge, I would not have been so furious. The manager stated that he would have put us at the bar initially since there were only three of us instead of four despite the fact that the staff was informed from the onset we had only three people. While I understand that restaurants need to make money, I really did not expect such horrendous service from a restaurant in SOHO. There is total disregard for customers' dining experience, and all they care about is to keep churning the volume. If the manager behaved in such manner, one can surely expect to have distasteful experience here.

I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone, nor would I ever be a returning customer as the service sure left a bad taste.

第一次品嚐沖繩菜居洒居,味道超班,但感覺不太特別,只是䐁肉和苦瓜來自沖繩,不過餐廳也有很多日本人光顧呢!是夜點了魚仔豆腐佐洒,不過豆腐沒有想像中滑溜。再點了最後一客的沖繩珍寶生蠔(下次要打電話預定呢)。點了5式刺身,包括有牡丹蝦、池魚、油甘魚、大拖羅、中拖羅。刺身鮮甜高質,拖羅肥美無筋,3 百多元有10 件刺身,性價比高。特別推薦海膽燒飯團,燒得非常到位,外脆內暖,海膽份量不少,而且很鮮甜,60 多元,很抵吃呢!另外,沖繩苦瓜抄蛋也要極力推薦,非常甘香暖胃。而燒物方面:雞翼燒得很好;免治雞肉串配蛋汁,口感很好,味道非常特別;而沖繩䐁肉串,吃得出肉質高班,但味道有點淡,可能為了保存其沖繩䐁的原汁原味吧!

Nice Izakaya in Soho with good wine and sake collection. Highly recommend "Okinawa Pork Delicacies", which comes with egg yolk as sauce... I kept savoring it even a couple days after the visit. Grilled veggies and seafood are fresh and succulent. Whole menu is also reasonably priced. Great value!

食物有日本沖繩特色,好好食,大部分客人是日本人居多,店長金城先生是沖繩人,個人好親切友善,服務員對客人好熱誠,叫我們留下深刻印象,店內好有日本氣氛,感覺置身日本居酒屋👍

朋友介紹嚟咗呢度食丼飯,雖然有多款唔同嘅選擇,但喺推介之下,就試咗是日廚師精選:油甘魚丼。係丼飯未上枱之前,聽朋友講係由日本師傅主理,所以期望又升高咗一級。前菜先有沙律及味增湯。沙律菜算新鮮,配上和風油醋汁;而味增湯配上大量幼切日本蔥白,兩樣都係傳統日式味道,唔錯,但沒有太大驚喜。丼飯上埸了!飯面鋪滿了厚切油甘魚,中間放上一片紫蘇葉和蛋黃,面頭再灑上紫菜碎條,賣相幾靚!但奇怪在唔見配上豉油及wasabi,細問之下,才得知油甘魚是未味噌漬的,所以說味道已足夠;但目測所見魚身仍然很白淨,唔似是味噌漬的。食一啖,魚味鮮甜,但就絲毫吃不到味精的味道,結果,還是要求待應添加醬油及wasabi。另外,我始終認為加咗蛋黃嘅飯,定須配上醬油才可以產生神奇嘅化學作用,令味道提升一個層次!再者,唔喜歡魚生切得太大塊,一大嚿魚生喺口裏面咀嚼嘅感覺其實好差勁。試諗一下,咀嚼一片片薄切魚生嘅口感,同成條生嘅魚肉咬落去嘅口感,完全係兩回事!所以,我從來反對厚切魚生!並唔係抵食與否嘅分別,最緊要係口𥚃咀嚼嘅感覺!同一個份量下,厚切與薄切,都係同一個份量。況且,食到最後一嚿,咬到有條好粗好韌嘅筋,心裏即刻大打折扣!結

結論:只喜歡薄切的魚生丼飯,如果加入蛋黃,必須配上適當嘅醬油,才可以令味道提升!

同事推介這間大約一百元有交易的高質日式居酒屋餐廳。餐廳面積不大,我們二人被安排坐吧台。午市定食$98起,除了一般的豬、牛、雞,還有是日定食。詢問了店員有關今天的定食,當知道是吞拿魚蓉飯後,便二話不說地決定了。定食有沙律、面豉湯和漬物前菜。我點的吞拿魚蓉飯勁好味,份量也多,$98!很抵食!同事說年尾收爐前要食豪點,點了$198的北海道海膽特級丼。偷吃了她的海膽和三文魚子!超好味,新鮮,一點也不腥。份量也屬大堆頭的級數。見到日藉老闆兼廚師與同是坐在吧枱的日藉顧客談話,有很正宗的感覺。雖然全店只得老闆和店員共二人,但也被誠意招呼,推薦給在中區用膳的朋友。
