自九龍東發展成另一個商業中心開始,lahris好多朋友都由中環/銅鑼灣遷移至觀塘,今日lahris就去探班!(其實只為到工廈尋寶)去工廈開餐有一個問題,等車立的時間特別長,始終不是太配合香港人的生活節奏。食完lunch,趕住返公司的office lady看到這個notice定必會心微笑,「你若撞我 我會壞」,so cute不槐為Kowloon east kitchen,都算有點人氣,好彩朋友K醒目預先book枱,否則閒閒地等半小時先看一下set lunch menu,5個選擇,lahris今次點了最最最普通的燴豬肉濃意粉麵包並不是硬法包,而是軟軟的,感覺就好似吃方包一樣這個甘荀薑湯才是重點,值得一試,店員一放低碗湯,那濃薑味就飄過來,lahris又食唔到好明顯的薑蓉,(可能係煲底掛)隱約食到些少薑絲,忌廉湯唔算辣,cream打得好滑,甘荀甜甜的燴豬肉濃意粉也就一般啦,意粉比正常的粗,但lahris未能分辨粗度,是n7嗎? 咀嚼感比n5多少少! 蕃茄和肉醬都好吃,肉香汁濃 朋友K的香濃蕃茄醬燴海鮮烚薯,烚薯好健康,完全唔稔,而且海鮮的量挺多,大蝦肉好厚,這個我沒有拍照,真可惜另外加5元要

這個甘荀薑湯才是重點,值得一試,店員一放低碗湯,那濃薑味就飄過來,lahris又食唔到好明顯的薑蓉,(可能係煲底掛)隱約食到些少薑絲,忌廉湯唔算辣,cream打得好滑,甘荀甜甜的

came into the kowloon east kitchen today with lunch set over hundred, with a slice of bread, an appentizer, main and drink.

i got the home made spagetti today with pancetta. when it came i was surprised - it didn't look like the creamy one that i expected nor the dry pan fried spagetti. it's a little wet than that. and it tasted like a bit thai. the mince was marinated with (i think) thyme and herbs, then stir with the spagetti with garlic and olive oil. the spagetti was a bit thicker than the usual one. it came a very large protion. i questionned should it be called "italian" as on the menu? anyway it tasted not bad, i should say bit funny tho.

towards 1pm there're lots of OL coming and it's full house. like the other industrial buildings, it's quite hard to talk since the sounds are all trapped and the place became so noisy.

the staff are friendly and talkative. water is filled frequently.

overall i like the funny mix of taste and the texture of the spagetti. would like to come again later when i feel like to spend over a hundred on a lunch.

成日聽人講觀塘多工廈食店,於是星期六下晝一行四人出動搵美食。網上評語話呢間食店好味,所以就去試。午餐有套餐抵食d,晚餐只有廚師推介,但無套餐。最好打定電話訂檯,免得到時無位……我去當晚七點後既位無晒,只好提前晚餐。

一味簡單的美食。意大利菜一向追求材料簡單,只要有蕃茄欖油和麵粉基本上已經做到大部分意大利菜。這餐廳在這簡單菜式上選擇在闊條麵上動功夫,這裡的闊條麵是自家製自家切,彈性和新鮮度都非常高。而蕃茄醬亦調較合適,加上甜美既車厘茄和腌咸的腩肉,很出色。

A nice clean and friendly restaurant with a decent lunch menu. There is also an open area for dining if you prefer the open air, also suitable for smokers.I had the sirloin steak which was nicely cooked and juicy within.The capachino and banana walnut cake was also great to finish off the meal.Would recommend to anyone around the area.Thinking about trying the evening menu on Valentine's Day.

總結,呢個質素呢個價錢喺呢個地方既話唔係咁抵,應該有唔少更好既選擇。可能晚餐會好d。裝潢唔係好標緻但總算有心思。只係lunch hour 始終人多waiter 忙,唔會食得出悠閒輕鬆。侍應都係好似普通餐廳咁唔會有西餐廳既笑容貼心。去食lunch既話不妨打去問下做緊咩set 先,多人最好book 位。

1. 環境:

型格,當晚半場滿,中間位置兩張長桌給訂了位的10-12人,都空間充足,又可以週圍行來傾談。wall & window sides 有小桌,供2-4人。基本上很舒服,可惜有點嘈吵,因有house music,客人又大聲談話。

聽他們說店址以前響中環,宜家搬左去觀塘工廈,APM後面:

2. 酒水:

4. 服務:

但最重要是服務超好!會按客人需要而 tailor made each dish,例如見有老人家就主動提議將佢碟意粉煮淋d;又難得明白咩係 gluten-free,訂位時同佢講定,佢地就預早買定 gluten-free pasta特地煮比我個妹。問左好幾間餐廳,得佢地 & Jamie's Italian 識整 gluten-free,呢間價錢平過 Jamie's,另香港好難得有餐廳肯咁樣就客人來咁花功夫煮野。正!

5. 總結:

整晚基本上係平食fine-dining煮法,非常西式(即不是港式西餐)。

咁好服務卻唔收加一,因此我難得第一次大手比tips。

P.S. 我不是餐廳既打手。因為每次為家人的超多種要求(地點,平,靚,正,gluten-free)而搵餐廳搵到我次次發脾氣。難得有間大家食完開心滿足又就腳。有如執到寶!因此極力推介,尤其是需要 gluten-free menu 的人。香港堅難搵,我個妹回港後已經食左成個月白切雞 & congee。

原本這道菜該是叫做香蒜薯蓉的,但剛巧這道菜轉了做青芥辣薯蓉,沒所謂啦,我們就直接點這道菜啦~
作為薯蓉,它的份量剛剛好,尤其是這是兩個人一起分享的時候,這個份量就不會讓胃的負荷過重啦。另外啦,這個口味的薯蓉Wing還是第一次品嚐得到,也蠻可愛的啦,青芥辣的味道淡淡的,一點也不刺激,不抗拒這味道的人就會愛上它啦~薯蓉的質感幼滑,滑得就像在雪糕一樣。吃完這個薯蓉,滯胃的感覺就沒有了,是有點開胃的啦~XD

認識Wing的朋友都知道Wing是不吃雞皮的,但這個Roast Chicken的雞皮烤得剛好,脆脆的,沒有多餘的肥膏,這個感覺就好像在鼓勵Wing吃下它一樣。最後Wing都乖乖就範啦!這個又脆又夠味的雞皮夾雜著嫩滑的雞肉,味蕾上的感覺很豐富,叫人按不住要一口一口的把所有的雞皮跟雞肉都吃下去呢~

最後我們點了這個甜品喔,是因為....要給自己一點甜來鼓勵自己一星期的努力喔~!!!
這個Brownie的朱古力味很濃郁,甜而不漏的感覺很好,也沒有讓Wing有怕胖的罪惡感。濃郁的朱古力味入口時帶點苦澀,就好像在說當天的心情一樣,但咀嚼的時候卻感受到那種香甜的感覺,這就是Wing對Brownie的感覺啦~
至於雪糕嘛,就是雲呢拿雪糕啦,幼滑、細膩。一口入面有Brownie跟雪糕,兩者互相融合的感覺就是那甜會over了苦澀的味道,這種感覺很不錯~

一出升降機就看見一塊以紅色背底襯托黑色菱形及白色店名字的招牌, 設計型格, 搶眼奪目。果然是勇衝廚房, 只站在店舖門口已見一個開放式的廚房, 廚師們正投入地準備。

店子以白色和黑色為主調, 設計平實簡約, 牆上掛了數個大相片框, 相片以觀塘角落為主題, 有觀塘碼頭、觀塘街巿、貼滿招紙的閘門等, 自從觀塘重建, 部份街頭角落已不再, 這些相片可讓食客回味一番, 特別對觀塘居民來說, 相信看見這些相片會分外感觸。

這裏地方寬敞, 有多張二人和四人枱, 亦有高枱高櫈、吧枱位, 還有兩張沙發讓食客舒舒服服坐在閒聊。最討我喜歡是露台雅座, 設有七八張木枱連木椅, 一邊看着遼闊的天空, 一邊吹着微風進餐, 多享受啊! 但現在還未完全入秋, 還是留待稍遲一點再來感受一下!

得知是日餐湯為甘荀薑湯Carrot and Ginger ($30), 以薑配甘荀頗為特別, 故不用考慮, 必定一試。一碗暖笠笠鮮橙色的甘荀薑湯並非打至幼滑無渣, 內裏存有綿綿的甘荀蓉, 亦能吃出啖啖幼細的薑絲蓉, 口感豐富, 反而討我喜歡, 只是略嫌薑味過於濃烈, 完全蓋過甘荀的鮮甜味, 而且越喝越辣, 相當刺激。幸兒勝在所加入的忌廉份量不多, 不會令人飽滯, 感覺清新輕盈。

平時吃蟶子多是蒜蓉清蒸或豆豉爆炒, 是一款中菜, 而這款Razor Clams in tomato sauce with Pancetta ($150)以西式的烹調方法製作, 想不到竟帶來驚喜的味道!
蟶子隻隻大小相若, 大至差不多有4-5吋, 一碟還有十多隻, 份量十足, 其肉厚而肥美, 啖啖爽甜嫩滑, 相當滋味! 用來爆炒蟶子的醬汁用料有爽口的洋蔥粒乾蔥、酸咪咪的鮮蕃茄粒、微辣的辣椒, 還選用厚身大粒的意大利煙肉Pancetta, 鹹香而不油膩, 亦有咬口, 再加數片九層叠提味, 酸、辣、鹹、甜交雜, 以此獨特的醬汁烹調蟶子, 配搭驚喜, 若嫌不夠喉, 再用焗至香脆的法包蘸它來拌吃, 同樣滋味, 結果……我們吃至碟子可照鏡, 正!

條條闊度相若的麵條, 口感的確有別於一般的意粉, 稍稍硬身中帶有煙韌感, 頗有嚼勁, 很討我喜歡。所拌煮的芝士忌廉汁緊緊掛着每條意粉, 杰度較高, 略為乾身, 幸兒多款的什菌既爽口, 亦菇味濃郁, 相當美味。其實整碟意粉和什菌都份量不少, 加上杰身的芝士忌廉汁, 讓人吃得有點飽滯。

還挑選了兩款是日主菜, 先來U.S.D.A Pork Chop with Truffle Aioli ($170), 一件極厚而大的美國穀自豬扒煎至外層金黃, 以粒粒薯仔 松露蒜泥蛋黃醬作配料, 賣相簡單而不花巧, 但很吸引。
將八成熟的豬扒切開, 內肉白中帶微微粉紅,肉質結實且頗有咬口, 雖不算腍嫩, 但以此厚度的豬扒煮至八成熟, 而一點都不鞋口, 已經相當不錯, 而只有豬扒邊位連帶甘香油脂, 故整體不感油膩, 吃時蘸上奶黃色的蛋黃醬汁, 更添美味。雖未能嚐出蛋黃醬的松露香, 但其帶點芥末的辣味, 味道獨特, 再用它來配外脆內粉綿的薯粒, 挺美味!

另一款主菜是Roasted Chicken (half, $125), 半隻黃油雞烤焗至外皮金黃, 充滿着迷迭香的香味。內肉連帶甘香的黃油, 肉質嫩滑, 但烤焗得略為生, 內存血紅。吃時蘸上所配備的香草油醬汁, 香草味進一步提升, 味道不錯! 旁邊所配的沙律亦挺不錯, 用料新鮮清爽, 再拌上份量剛好的酸醋, 有助減郤焗烤雞的油膩。

家中常吃菠菜, 皆因其鐵質豐富, 但要弄的好吃也不容易, 通常會鞋口和帶渣, 不太討好, 但這款忌廉菠菜Creamy Spinach ($30)郤弄很不錯。翠綠色的菠菜幼嫩, 加入適量的忌廉拌煮, 令其更滑身, 有忌廉香之餘, 亦存菠菜的獨有味道, 是一款挺不錯的配菜。

甜品當然不可缺少, 還忍不住揀選了三款, 我們另一個胃子, 甜品胃真的厲害。先來一客香蕉合桃蛋糕Banana and Walnut Cake ($39)。兩件厚度適中的長形蛋糕上加了一球自家打製的忌廉, 再唧上香甜的朱古力醬作點綴。香蕉核桃蛋糕質地柔軟, 帶點濕潤, 啖啖香蕉味, 內裏混入少許合桃碎粒, 吃時拌上幼滑而微甜的忌廉, 雖是一款略為普通的甜品, 但勝在甜度剛好, 不會令人感到甜膩。

接着是一款帶有仲夏感的檸檬芝士凍餅Cheese Cake with Lemon ($45), 圓柱體的芝士凍餅上加了藍莓薄荷葉作裝飾。以忌廉芝士製成的凍餅, 質感相當軟滑, 但芝士味並不濃郁, 內裏混入不少檸檬絲, 啖啖檸檬味, 酸咪咪有助中和芝士的飽滯感, 感覺清新。而餅底焗至稍稍香脆, 帶淡淡的牛油香, 特別在內存一些糖粒, 吃時有點硬口, 感覺奇怪。
自家製黑朱古力布朗尼

最後是三款當中較出色的一款, 就是自家製黑朱古力布朗尼Homemade Dark Chocolate Brownie ($45)。一件深啡色的布朗尼蛋糕是以高濃度的朱古力製作而成, 難怪朱古力味極之濃郁, 啖啖香濃朱古力味, 非常吸引, 可惜蛋糕焗得略為乾身, 質地偏硬, 亦沒有混入合桃或果醬作配搭, 略為單調。至於雲尼拿雪糕球是採用Milk Top北海道自家製雪糕牌子, 內存粒粒雲尼拿籽, 淡淡雲尼拿的香甜, 與香濃的朱古力布朗尼同食, 相當配襯。

臨走時慣性回望店子一眼, 看見一班廚師仍在這個九龍廚房埋頭苦幹地製作, 滿有熱誠, 果然樓上舖總給我驚喜和滿足, 喜歡或不喜歡, 因人而異, 但見眾員工為小店打拼, 我可肯定日後如再發現什麼廚房、客房、書房, 不論勇衝什麼房, 都會食完再講!
