城中飲食界盛事 Restaurant Week Dining City是本人熱衷的活動之一以優惠的價格享受餐廳的signature cuisine是性價比甚高之選。自2021年尾開張至今一直高居熱門餐廳之列的La Favorita在我的Wish List之中佔一席位。作為黑松露愛好者的我,最喜歡的食物當然是Beef tartar with black truffle和Pasta tossed in cheese wheel topped with black truffle濃郁的黑松露味道令人不能自拔。在牛肉他他上加上生蛋黃確為畫龍點睛之舉。最令我驚喜的是短短的管形意粉非常al dente: 爽口彈牙有嚼勁有韌度,盡顯大廚功架。So authentic 另外的主菜選了多寶魚、和牛和芝士茄子。乏味的多寶魚令我十分失望,而和牛亦偏硬不夠肉味;反而平日不太常見的芝士茄子味道不錯,不會太油膩,感覺清新。結尾的Tiramisu一上桌令我們嘩然,因為分量甚巨除了量勝,它亦貫徹PIRATA Group的作風,質素高賣相佳。四人你一匙我一啖,瞬間已將它消滅

作為黑松露愛好者的我,最喜歡的食物當然是Beef tartar with black truffle和Pasta tossed in cheese wheel topped with black truffle
濃郁的黑松露味道令人不能自拔。在牛肉他他上加上生蛋黃確為畫龍點睛之舉。最令我驚喜的是短短的管形意粉非常al dente: 爽口彈牙有嚼勁有韌度,盡顯大廚功架。So authentic 

另外的主菜選了多寶魚、和牛和芝士茄子。乏味的多寶魚令我十分失望,而和牛亦偏硬不夠肉味;反而平日不太常見的芝士茄子味道不錯,不會太油膩,感覺清新。

Today I found a gem.

To celebrate my wife’s birthday, I looked on the Internet for good restaurants. I came across one called “La Favorita”, and I was immediately attracted by its photos of Italian grandeur and fine decorations, so I booked there to eat tonight.

When my wife and I got there, we were impressed by the drapes, ornamented ledges, and luxurious sofas. We ordered the Vitello Tonnato antipasti, followed by 2 main dishes: The Codfish alla Mugnaia and Tagliata di Manzo. The Vitello, which is roasted veal with tuna mayo and Sicilian capers is a refreshing surprise. The combined flavour of the veal and the sauce is Oh My Super Delicious! It certainly got me anticipating on what the main dishes taste like.

The Codfish is very juicy. Normally I would expect thin pieces, but presented in front of me are thick and chewy pieces, in which both of us liked a lot. The Tagliata, which is the Wagyu beef striploin, is a different flavour of deliciousness. We ordered Medium, but when it got here, it’s almost equivalent to Medium well, which was exactly what us both preferred actually. Combined with the small mushrooms, it provides a good taste alternative that pairs up well with the codfish.

The most memorable part was the last part. When I made the booking on OpenRice, I specified that this is a birthday occasion. The waiters and waitresses came with to our table with a lemon sorbet, and jointly sang “Happy Birthday” to my wife… in Italian! This was definitely not in my plans and exceeded my expectations. I’m very impressed with their surprise, and after the meal, my wife told me that she felt so sweet that they put their full effort in making the birthday girl happy. It was the most memorable moment for her in the entire night.

Good food, good scenery, and good staff spirit. That’s why I said I found a gem, as this is a great restaurant and I would recommend my friends to try this place too.

焦糖個層好薄,燉蛋雖然得淺淺一層,但密度好高,所以口感都滿足到,而且開心果味好濃,估唔到可以咁高質(因為集團最岀名係個tiramisu😂)

一上枱見到個份量就嘩一聲,真係好大,用Pancetta 捲起再焗然後切片,肉油味好香,伴碟嘅配菜有好多款式😋

份量真係可以2個朋友share😆 整體奶香味都幾濃,口感順滑,杯底有細細粒朱古力碎,食到底有朱古力既咬口,雙重口感幾得意,美中不足既係酒香較少,lady finger浸既咖啡酒味唔太特出☕️

不得不提餐廳的服務態度真係非常殷勤,間唔中會有問滿唔滿意食物,換碟同補充餐具都做得好足🍽 同場真係好多人慶祝生日🎂 待應們都行左好多枱唱意大利文生日歌😆🎤

整體黎講呢間食物質素不過不失,未算太驚喜,可以去一次欣賞下裝修環境,慶祝下生日打下卡都唔錯,不過再訪就要考慮下🙈🙈

Clams, mussels, prawns, calamari stew with rich tomato sauce and country bread!呢個好食到要比10分!入邊有好多海鮮,有蜆肉,蝦仁,青口,魷魚,同埋兩塊麵包,個醬汁係超香濃蕃茄味再加埋海鮮嘅鮮味,有啲似龍蝦汁!個麵包吸左汁之後真係超好食,仲吸引過啲海鮮😆海鮮都新鮮,蝦肉爽口,蜆肉青口都冇腥味,帶微微嘅鹹香!好食道一啲醬汁都冇剩🤤

Parmigiano and black truffle fondue, foie gras, hand-chopped striploin. fresh shaved truff.生牛肉上面有雞蛋,芝士再加埋松露忌廉醬汁,生牛肉好細滑,一啲腥味都冇,加埋芝士松露醬汁同埋雞蛋口感係好Creamy好滑,好濃嘅松露味,口感好豐富,真心係好好食!

Tubetti pasta. truffle sauce. fresh shaved truffle,睇住佢將啲意粉喺個芝士度兜咗幾個圈先出嚟,仲要喺你面前加芝士同埋松露,真係打卡一流又好吸引!意粉係圓形扁身,質感係比較偏硬,有口感嘅,每一粒意粉都充滿咗醬汁,食落係比較鹹香,好香濃嘅芝士味,調味比較簡單,只係用嘅芝士鹽同埋松露醬,新鮮嘅松露,味道唔算好濃,成個意粉都係比較鹹香嘅芝士味,芝士控表示好正,但層次冇想像中咁豐富比較單一,食到最後有啲膩,不過係好食嘅!

🍴BEEF TENDERLOIN ALLA BOSCAIOLA (+$98) (8/10)
Wagyu beef 200gr, brown mushrooms, thyme and mustard jus牛扒用炭燒香過,有炭嘅焦香味,香濃牛味,肉質比較瘦,但都好嫩滑,唔會鞋到,個汁係鹹鹹地有酒有蒜味,比較偏鹹,加埋啲蘑菇真係好濃味,不過蘑菇份量都好多。個人就唔係特別鍾意個汁有啲偏鹹,如果係用頭盤嗰個松露醬汁嘅話會仲好食,可能係意式風情唔太識欣賞🫢全部菜式入面,呢個真係比較冇咁突出,如果唔係太鍾意食牛嘅話可以唔使加錢叫。

🍴TIRAMISU (7.5/10)
Mascarpone, lady fingers, Italian coffee, chocolate praline ,忌廉同蛋糕嘅比例一比一,蛋糕吸晒酒味好香,唔會太出,口感濕潤,忌廉都好Creamy好滑,咖啡同味比較香濃,都幾唔錯,但略嫌忌廉唔夠香濃芝士同埋奶香味,酒味都唔夠濃同出,有食過比佢更好食嘅Tiramisu🤣

真心環境係好靚好舒服,服務都非常之好有禮貌,侍應主動幫手影相同埋加水,會問你好唔好食好關心客人,食物方面前菜好食過主菜,基本上好高質每一樣嘢都好食,起碼呢個價錢份量足有返咁上下嘅質素,同埋一餐飯已經聽到N次嘅生日歌,嚟慶祝真係好有氣氛!大大推薦比鍾意食意大利野嘅人🫶🏻

Food was tasteless and not very freshAte the menu offered by restaurant week. Calamari was dry and batter was tasteless. King crab chitarra pasta was stringy and sauce had no taste whatsoever. The pork knuckle was just salty although the presentation was good. Tiramisu was just sweet - couldn’t taste the coffee liqueur or the coca powder. The iced lemon tea tasted like water with lemon slices.All in all - didn’t live up to expectations as it’s neighbouring Japanese Honjokko restaurant is very go

Couldn’t imagine how big it’s😱 Mascarpone, ladyfingers, Italian coffee, and chocolate praline mixed and matched with each other to offer different layers in one bite✨ while it’s pretty heavy for me🥹 I would say it’s not a must-try item👀

🍰 Grand Dessert Platter; lemon sorbet was pretty refreshing and maybe what I preferred out of this selection and the crème brûlée wasn’t too bad!

今次試左兩款意粉都唔錯,第一個係truffle tagliolini,其實真係同pici 個個差唔多haha,印象中個人覺得pirata 個個比較好食,濃味d 同埋creamy d🙈 (雖然我覺得pirata旗下嘅黑松露意粉recipe 可能根本都係一樣嘅🤣🙈)黎個味道比較清淡但係勝在佢個tagliolini 好彈牙👌🏻 另外一款係seafood cavatelli,黎款相對濃味d,仲有好多唔同種類嘅海鮮添🦐 個人超鍾意cavatelli 煙韌嘅口感👌🏻

甜品方面有lemon sorbet 同埋pistachio crème brûlée🥰 lemon sorbet 超酸🤣但係都幾解膩👌🏻 pistachio crème brûlée 味道幾濃郁,上面個raspberry sorbet 都好好食☺️
