To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. I was surprised at the value of the dinner sets at this restaurant, for the price and the ingredients used. We got a two people dinner set and added a 生煎包 and a 烤麩 as we were 3. The dinner set contained 7 courses. My favourite were the fried 小王魚, the duck itself and the abalone with goose feet. Each course was served piping hot, so it was nice to know that despite being a chain, they’re not exactly cooking everything in advance and just taking it to serve to their customers. I like the abalone quite a bit since the sauce wasn’t too overwhelming, yet I could still taste the seafood. The duck itself was very generous, I like how they tried their best to remove the layers of fat from the skin! The only slight disappointment was the wrapping used as it wasn’t as soft as I would’ve liked it to be. Also, the fish maw soup was served literally 15 minutes after we were done with all the courses. If we didn’t remind them, they would’ve probably forgotten about it and not served to us. Whilst food quality is pretty good, the service is slow, and especially slow during their peak hours. continue reading

落咗颱風之後嗰晚黎咗呢到食晚餐,叫咗個滙豐信用卡嘅set再加兩個餸。其中個蝦完全係冇味嘅,之後其他餸全部都上晒就差過海參,追咗好多次成半個鐘都未上,隔籬枱遲過我哋半個鐘入嚟都早過我哋上嗰海參,等咗半個鐘之後又再上錯俾隔籬枱,之後仲想將俾比錯隔籬枱嗰海參俾我哋,我都話要cancel又話唔得。最後過咗5分鐘之後終於上咗,佢話個菜係重新煮過,但個菜唔熱淨係海參係熱嘅嘅,都唔知係唔係之前上錯個盤🙄最後就送咗個唔好食嘅甜品當係補償 continue reading

這樣的質素,這樣的價錢,這樣的性價比,真的會破壞香港美食太太的名譽,直接影響香港未來。點心的水準非常一般,但價格根本不值得這個價錢。炒飯還可以。炒麵就非常差,上海粗炒根本不應該這個味道,甜到不應該。當然點完餐後就完全莫名其妙地把所有甜品都先上了,而把湯在過了一個小時後所有東西吃完才到,就已經完全沒法明白。然後再回想到剛剛吃過的東西,後悔莫及。 continue reading
