猶記得上次在名都飲茶,經已有整整十個年頭的光景,這次是應一位朋友之邀,再來品茗茶樓美點。現在式飲茶都是剔紙仔上點心的;其實飲茶文化始自一些由阿姐捧著托盤叫賣的點心,後來有推車點心的出現,當時已經叫做先進了不少。目下仍保留著有點心車的茶樓實屬罕見,故此小人到場後未食點心前,先行拍了不少現場實景,樂趣無窮。除了點心車為其特色之外,甜品之多亦令人嘆為觀止。三層的凍柜擺放著各類型甜點,琳瑯滿目;當中最令人懷念的乃是七彩啫喱糖,老實說,因為偏甜,是甚麼什果味不太分得出,但總夠色彩繽紛、夠啫喱夠膠口,懷舊的味道。鹹點有燒賣、排骨、鳳爪、蝦腸以及鮮竹卷。不能期望太精緻,些微偏鹹了少許,不過絕對夠熱,呷口熱茶吃件點心,還有別忘了蘸點豆瓣醬,直接提升食味,就是令人享受的一刻。茶樓屹立多載,今回光臨,仍可緬懷普日風光。

沙翁亦是稀有的,不需去西灣河百利茶餐,現在吃到了。不太甜,有濃濃雞蛋香味。

糖水車仔最笨重,食客一般最後才飲糖水,故大部份時間停泊在一角。綠豆馬蹄爽較特別。

最懷念地是西式蛋糕車仔,有燈光,糕上有彩傘仔,可惜已被淘汰。取代的是新潮甜品檔,有玻璃鏡櫃展示。好像把甜品台店搬到酒樓內。當年酒樓是美食大拼盤,租金,西化風氣等因素,才令酒樓愈來愈細。

我坐上菜位,

1。怨我玩電話令佢收碟慢,

Food was delicious, but the atmosphere was not great. Very busy and bustling, fast paced, efficient operation. Might be better if you go with a larger group. I was there with only 2, which is not really enough for dim sum. Meat dishes were notable because they were very soft and nicely done, nothing too chewy, not even the tripe. I would recommend for a big group looking to eat a lot of food. Prices were a bit more than we expected, but not terrible.

今日午餐無乜時間,唯有外出買飯盒!想起名都的义燒好似唔錯,於是趕快去買!回到公司打開飯盒看見义燒件數都唔少,但食第一啖就發覺肉質粗糙,無辦法把肉咬開,試第二舊又係咁,跟本全部肉都咬唔開,而且肉味感覺到唔新鮮,騷騷的!啲白飯又有小小硬,最後無奈地唯有用盒內幾條菜心送飯,而啲肉就食唔到啦!估唔到名都會比大家樂大快活差咁多,下次不會再來!

同事們午餐話去飲茶,揀左呢間名都酒樓。五個人上到去,帶位小姐話要等一陣,大約五分鐘就有得入去喇。行入去見到竟然係好耐冇見過既推車仔,心諗一定好食喇! 點知就中招了,我地叫左。。叉燒飽-飽入面既叉燒唔新鮮牛肉球-同事一食落口就大叫好難食,我唔食牛所以我唔知點形容比大家知鮮蝦韮菜餃-呢個正常少少,不過都係唔新鮮叉燒腸-差蒸排骨-同事食到唔熟既。。。鳳爪-算係正常春卷-係架車仔度擺得太耐了,皮都唔脆雞絲粉卷-冇味既一條野粉卷滑蛋鮮蝦帶子炒河-大家都頂唔順d點心,唯有炒碟野黎食下,呢碟炒河算係好食架喇係咁既對比之下。。最後再叫多兩碗糖水紅豆沙同杏仁茶,講真呢兩碗糖水應該係呢餐最好食既野。。。。

Also, they're big, so chances are that you will get a table. This time, we had a little office gathering for a colleague's birthday and I think I speak for all of us when I say that the food was delicious, the service good and we all had a fabulous time. Must haves include the BBQ Pork and the Steamed Beef Balls, but with the exception of the Xiao Long Bao (which sadly arrived deflated and dry), the food was all very enjoyable. This is not the "haute cuisine" of a Tim Ho Wan or Shang Palace, but nitty gritty wholesome dim sum for the casual munchies. If you want unpretentious authentic dim sum at affordable prices, you cannot go wrong with this one. It is not crowded with tourists like Maxim's and while you need to be quite proactive to get any food, this is a quintessential Hong Kong dining experience and I always love to take my visitors here.

名都酒楼不算特别老牌的粤菜馆(1992),但其母公司聘珍楼则历史悠久。聘珍楼是日本开过来的中菜馆,这也是一种神奇的存在。据说聘珍楼1887年便在日本横滨的唐人街开业了。至于在日本是个什么样的餐厅我就不知道了。总之1987年入驻本港,开始了高级中餐的生意。名都是它的副牌,自然也不显得十分高级。名都的装修是传统的广式酒楼,面积大、空间宽阔、可容纳众多人就餐。自然日头吃点心的多,早茶这个东西,时常是午饭时候才来喝的。晚上便是吃点菜的。在这里吃了晚饭,点心没吃,不知如何。黄金虎虾印象深刻,然后咸蛋黄焗的东西如果都做不好吃,那真是可以叫做“暴殄天物”了。其他的菜印象并不深刻,似乎吃吃君并没有获得再去这家酒楼的动力诶.......至于为何会去吃,那也是个事过境迁,物是人非的故事。当时吃吃君才刚来香港工作,一起入职的几个小伙伴一开始说轮流请饭吃,这在穷人里面是非常常见的社交游戏。这家店看人均也不是很高,离公司又近(是的,吃吃君是金融民工),于是便去了。现如今,请我吃名都酒楼的同事已经跳槽。吃吃君在香港也已经一年半了.......(苍老了很多呢TAT)
