Terrible service from staff of N.O.T(sell drinks), big contrast with NUTMAD (sells food) which is great! Today we came with our friends for lunch who has two little kids of 3 years old, so we ordered a drink and a meal each for the adults and a hot chocolate from NOT for the 2 kids to share since they are so young and a whole cup would be too much caffeine and sugar level for the day. We asked the staff if we can have a cup for them, the staff refused with really bad attitude. After our continuous ask, they finally said they will give us a cup of tap water. I asked if I can not get the water but just the cup, they refused because according to company policy, a cup of water needs to have water in it. Then suddenly the other staff mr. Cheung came over and said, “if you don’t like it, you don’t need to come” and he also said, each person need to order a drink so the two kids should each order a drink. Today I also have my 6 months old infant with me, so I asked if I also need to buy a drink for my baby also. He said “yes, because your baby is also a human right? So your baby counts as one also.” After this encounter, we then sat down at our table, mr. Cheung then came over to challenge us again about this, and his colleague had to tell him to go away but at the same time she told us to be quiet and not to talk to him. I don’t quite understand, her colleague is the one who came to our table to challenge and argue with us, so why tell us to be quiet. Also my wife was only speaking in English as she does not speak Chinese, so not sure why the staff continuously speak to her in Chinese. The thing is, we ordered a drink and a meal each for all three adults, so I don’t quite understand why we cannot get a spare cup for the two 3 years old kids to share a hot chocolate. At the end, the staff from NUTMAD came over and apologised instead on behalf of NOT (the two f&b partner together) since they share the same restaurant space and I must say NUTMAD’s food and service is great, which is why we are regulars here, until todays encounter. The coffee from NOT taste no difference to starbucks, so I would not recommend

This pop-up café has been on my list for a while now and we finally got to try out their beautiful plates! 🍝🌺🍞 Pic 1️⃣: 𝟏/𝟐 𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐡 𝐓𝐨𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐈𝐜𝐞 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐇𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐁𝐮𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 (𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐰𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐇𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐲) - $78 hkd 🍓🍯 🍞 — This was so pretty! The french toast was perfectly pan fried, and the edges were super crispy whilst the inside was still pillowy soft. The tanginess from the strawberries worked well with the sweetness of the honey. Thought their homemade basil butter was really interesting and really perked up the dessert with its savoury, peppery, pungent profile. The ice cream was a perfect accompaniment too!Pic 2️⃣: 𝐊𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐚𝐨 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐧 - $130 hkd 🐓🌶️ — Was really excited to try this answer this definitely did not disappoint! This was full of flavour and everything was really well seasoned. This definitely has a kick to it and the blend of chilis made this so aromatic and addictive. Loved the addition of peanuts to mimic the flavours of the original kung pao chicken as well as adding a nice crunch to the dish. The chicken was tender and very flavourful too. Pasta was well cooked too.Pic 3️⃣&4️⃣: 𝐏𝐢𝐠𝐠𝐲𝟑 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐛𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐚 - $120 hkd 🐷 🍝— They definitely know how to nail their pasta dishes! Compared to other carbonaras I’ve had, this isn’t as heavy, as it does not make use of cream and only egg yolks. The combination of guaniciale stagionato, pancetta and smoked bacon added an abundance of flavour to the dish and a delicious smoky aroma too. Loved that these were stir fried to a crispy finish too! The parmigiano-reggiano crisps were a great addition and so delicious too! The flavours of the aged cheese added a depth of flavour to the dish.
