雞肉沙嗲串燒: 熱辣辣的雞串只有一串, 不過幾新鮮, 配上個人很喜歡的泰式花生醬, 絕配~

泰式青咖喱雞: 雞很入味, 青咖喱也很濃香, 是我喜歡的味道(應該是椰汁), 不過沒有配白飯, 咖喱就顯得很失色了

泰式鮮蝦炒金邊粉: 像極了夏門炒米, 酸酸甜甜的炒蛋芽菜金邊粉, 個人比較喜歡一般在其他店吃的辛辣版本...

椰汁糕: 味道很好, 不過我一般吃的裡面都有芋頭碎或粟米

以價錢來說, 我覺得物超所值,

不過可以更好

我點的晚餐Set B包括:
1. 雞肉沙嗲串燒: 串燒完全冷的,好硬,好糟糕,只有沙嗲醬相對好吃,不過那個醬也很油
2. 雜菜春卷: 也是凍的,不過這個味道冷了也比較能接受,皮也還是脆的,這個算不錯

,如果是不吃豬肉的人怎麼辦

Other Info. : 關於這家間的管理,可說是非常有問題,不知是不是用團購券的問題,我們訂座時發生過很多麻煩事,店方也很不負責任: 11月初我打去預定11月23日六位使用團購券的,過程順利 11月9日,另外兩位朋友自己再預約使用團購券,店方卻說他們不再接受進餐廳的人使用團購券,同日我們打去了解,他說已預訂了也也不給使用,有什麼問題要我們直接問團購公司,他們經理不在不清楚!總之不能用!:o(但沒有通知已預訂了座位的我們:mad:) 11月12日,NANA BANANA的人打給我說之前訂的座取消團購卷無效,但什麼原因也沒說,只說團購公司有問題叫我們自己連絡團購公司:huffy:,同天團購公司說可以退款 11月13日,團購公司又說和NANA協議好了,可以繼續使用,我又打去NANA重新BOOK了六位在同一天同一時間 11月15日,之前另外預訂的兩位朋友也加進來一起吃,打了過去NANA改成訂八位 11月23日用餐當天,當我們出示到第五張COUPON時,女侍應竟然說我們訂時只說會用四張COUPON,所以四位以後的不能使用COUPON進餐:o,我完全莫名其妙這個"4張coupon"是怎樣出現的,就跟他們吵起上來說訂座時已說明了全部人都是用coupon,就算分開了兩次訂,也不可能出現使用"4張coupon"的情況,那個沒禮貌的女侍應硬說她聽到的是四張,吵到我發火:huffy:她們才再接受我們使用coupon,又嘴邊唸唸說經理不在她什麼也不能做主,會被人鬧,廚房每天只可以出十份coupon餐之類的,總之就是很糟糕的應對和管理!:huffy:

至於這晚的泰式 6 道菜晚餐,其實當女侍端上來時,確實嚇了一跳,原來並非如一般晚餐那樣,一道一道菜奉上,而是以一個托盆一次過把所有食物呈上,既快捷又放便,差點還以為自己去了連鎖快餐店用膳添,幸好吃過後,發現幾款食物原來水準也不錯。

至於小食雜菜春卷,內裡放滿了冬菇絲、粉絲、甘筍絲等,餡料十足,而且炸得金黃亮澤,只是略嫌外皮吃起來唔夠脆身,不過配上泰式酸甜醬同吃,味道還算不過不失。另外旁邊的青木瓜沙律,咬落口感清涼爽脆,本來都算開胃醒神,只可惜入口帶著一份頗濃烈的辣與酸,向來怕辣的老公,只吃了幾口,已經耍手擰頭,大呼吃不消。

至於泰式青咖喱牛肉,據說個醬汁是以泰國香料及香草煮成,入口充滿椰汁香味,只是稍嫌個質感較稀,唔夠濃稠,因筆者個人比較偏好杰身一點的醬汁,幸而味道甜而不辣,配上份量勁足的牛肉,入口啖啖肉之餘,更有香茅提香,口感豐富,用來伴飯吃,相信味道更好,不過由於這晚團購餐已包咗一份金邊粉,所以亦沒有另點白飯伴吃。

粉絲肉碎豆腐湯又是另一道非常足料的菜式,單看賣相,肉碎、粉絲、豆腐、草菇、蔬菜等放得滿滿的,而且喝起來鮮香可口,既簡單又有營養。至於跟餐的泰式甜品椰汁西米露,除了入口有很香的椰汁味外,內裡更有一條條的椰子肉,而且甜度調校得十分適中,為這頓晚飯帶來一個完美的結局。

午飯時間這間餐廳人不算多, 可能是因為價錢較一般茶餐廳貴的關係, 所以基本上不用等位, 和空間也不會很擠逼。午餐劃一價$68, 湯是青紅蘿蔔老火湯, 主食, 飲品, 甜品 (綠豆沙)他們的小炒不錯, 我點的泰式炒金邊粉和朋友點的泰式鮮蝦炒飯味道很好! 我的金邊粉還附有自製辣椒粉, 要多辣任君選擇, 而且不用加一服務費, 所以$68可以吃得飽飽, 坐得舒適, 不錯不錯!

午餐到灣仔駱克道, 此處一帶有密集的泰國菜館, 聽聞NANA BANANA有許多罕有威士忌, 是日午餐未能一嘗, 因為已訂位, 所以不用等很快有位, 餐廳的格局雖小但全綠色很舒服, 過了不久就坐滿人了, 都有一些洋人幫襯, 話晒都係駱克道麻!我們試了是日午餐, 有一個冬瓜滾湯, 主食連飲品, 約60大洋, 叫了海鮮冬陰公湯粉和青咖哩雞飯, 泰國菜來說, 沒有十分驚喜, 味道不夠濃, 海鮮冬陰公湯粉, 湯底有香茅的清新氣味和辣椒的刺激感, 但缺乏了椰汁的濃厚味道, 如騷不到癢處, 敗筆但作為一個普通的午餐, 有蝦有粉有菜亦不過不失! 至於青咖哩雞飯, 有茄子雞柳, 個青咖哩汁一般,可以接受, 再加飲品香茅茶, 都加多幾分啦!

Came here randomly because there were not many people dining there that day.Usually it is packed with people.As it wasnt planned I forgot to bring my camera.The service here is extremely efficient, when I entered, there was'nt a table but I was allowed to sit on a big table and browse the lunch menu whilst the smaller table was being cleared.Then I was allocated the smaller table, and within minutes there was a bowl of soup placed on my table.The soup was wintermelon soup, there were generous pi

The service here is extremely efficient, when I entered, there was'nt a table but I was allowed to sit on a big table and browse the lunch menu whilst the smaller table was being cleared.
Then I was allocated the smaller table, and within minutes there was a bowl of soup placed on my table.
The soup was wintermelon soup, there were generous pieces of wintermelon and lots of spring onions, it was quite peppery and slightly too salty.

For $65 there are about ten choices of dishes, the ones that I could remember were:
sliced chicken hainan style with rice
sweet and sour pork
stir fried beef in black pepper and rice
satay chicken with fried rice
thai fried noodles in sauce
thai fried cambodian noodles with chicken
green curry with rice

I chose the green curry and thai fried cambodian noodles with chicken.
The food came very fast, but because some of the dishes came really quickly it made the other dishes appear slower, but in any rate the slow ones were still faster than the usual places.

The green curry was served on a big piece of lettuce draped on the plate with a side of rice, in the curry was green aubergines.
The green curry was lightly drizzled with some coconut sauce.
As for the noodles, it was thoughtfully served because the crushed peanuts and chili were put on the side of the plate which saves the trouble for people who request it without peanuts or chili.
The noodles were slightly too greasy for me, but it tasted Ok, a mixture of sweet, sour and spicyness, but I found it too sweet.

There was a drink included so I chose tea, and lemon tea.
The tea was not the HK type served with condensed milk, but both the tea and lemon tea tasted interesting, it was not the normal tea.
The colour of the lemon tea was reddish brown, but it tasted like black tea, it tasted like strong Assam tea and Darjeeling.
The tea with milk was also the same but with fresh milk added.
Both were very appropriate after having really spicy food because they had a natrual sweetness to it.

When the food was nearly been finished, the desserts were placed on the table.
The dessert looked like birds nest , but it was congee, except that the grains of rice were glutinous rice which were translucent.
It had longan berries in it too (dragon eye/lung ngan) which were quite nice because they were not that sweet.
Overall the dessert was brilliant because it wasnt that sweet and it was very light in taste. I could also taste some pandan essense in it as well.

For $65, it was quite a good deal because it came with soup, drink and a dessert.
The menu states that only a drink comes with a meal, so maybe it was a bonus for a limited time.
There were also two menus outside, one excluding 10% charge with sets priced around $62, and the other is $65 per lunch set without service charge, both prices work out to be roughly the same.

米紙蝦春卷 ($58): 我覺得好好味, 清清地, 但材料好足, 蝦都好大隻, 點佢地個醬料好好味...

沙爹豬肉串燒 ($70): 我自己本身真係唔好豬肉, 但朋友仔又唔食雞, 我地又叫左好多牛肉, 所以決定試下豬肉...味道都幾好, 不過我覺得有d肥..但朋友仔好喜歡, 所以各人喜好, 佢事實上唔多肥肉, 只係我完全接受唔到肥肉...但佢地個醬汁就真係好唔錯....

柚子沙律 ($70):好好味, 酸酸地, 辣辣地, 真係好開胃,極度推薦main course前食呢個.... 而且柚子排毒, 非常好..哈哈...

青咖哩牛肉 ($75): 呢個真係值得一試, 如果喜歡辣的, 一定很喜歡, 青咖哩煮得好好味, 佢真係我食過最好味的青咖哩...而且辣得恰到好處....
....但因為佢地唔跟飯的, 所以我同朋友仔叫左一個飯($16), 我就覺得有d貴, 一碗飯的份量, 所以如果唔介意無飯的, 可以唔好叫多個飯...

濕炒牛肉河粉 ($70): 佢地的河粉煮得唔錯, 河粉有一定的厚度, 而且朋友仔覺得好有鑊氣...都值得一試...

飲品方面, 佢地有好多飲品選擇, 特別係酒精飲品, 佢地可能同時間係一間BAR, 因為事實上成條街都係酒吧....我同朋友仔叫左Salty Dog同Bloody Mary...

Salty Dog ($58):我本身係極度喜歡飲呢款酒, 但香港真係無咩酒吧有呢款酒叫, 所以我見到佢地有, 我真係好開心, 即刻點Salty Dog...好有水準, 無偷工減料, 但又唔會太難入口....

朋友仔的Bloody Mary ($58), 佢話又酸又辣...但因為朋友仔唔係好飲酒, 所以佢飲左一半就已經話醉醉地, 所以比唔到意見..

至於waiterwaitress方面, 佢地應該全部都係泰國人, 所以可以的同佢地講英文, 但有d都識講中文, 佢地的態度都好好, 同埋當我地開始食的時候, 客人都不斷陸續有來, 幾乎坐滿, 而且大部分都係外國人, 可能大家食飯的時間都唔一樣.., 所以一開始無咩人....哈哈....

整體所有的東西都好好, 我地埋單$500... 雖然比同類型的餐廳貴d左, 但又真係好好味, 都值呢個價錢....我應該會再來...

First Impressions

I'm not sure where the name comes from but I do know that Nana is one of the areas in Bangkok - maybe? The signage is a little cheesy - I'm not sure where the monkey came from and it probably needs to go for the restaurant to be taken seriously.

There are two things that you notice straight off - first of alll there's the massive and incredibly impressive Scotch Whiskey collection down the side of one wall - There are hundreds and hundreds of bottles. I'm not a whiskey drinker but they do make an incredible impression. I looked at some of the prices and they seem to range form $80 a shot to $1,300 - Now, I might be wrong here but not sure who would spend $1000+ on whisky!

The second thing is the collection of black and white pictures of old Thailand - I rather enjoyed having a look at them - Maybe room for a few more?

As well as the two main points of interest, it seems that the bar is run/owned/visited by some HK horserace owners as there are a few nice pictures of horses on the wall.

The restaurant is decked out in a khakiish green which sounds strange but works quite well.

Staff were fin, showed me to a table at the front which allowed for plenty of street watching.

Menu

The menu seemed well-appointed with a few things I haven't seen in other Thai places before.

I went for:

*Deep Fried Spring Rolls - Por Pia Tord
*Pork neck - Kor Moo Yang
*A pork (or beef - not sure) fried rice dish - Pad Kaprao Moo (?)

It took about 5 minutes for the spring rolls to arrive with a sweet and spicy sauce. They were definitely bigger than other restaurants portions.

The Pork neck came next and was very very good
- especially the spicy sauce it comes with. I asked the lady what was in the sauce and she gave me a long list of ingredients none of which I can remember now!

The fried rice dish came a couple of minutes later and was excellent although I couldn't finish it - my eyes are definitely bigger than my belly.

Beer

I am not a whiskey drinker so couldn't sample any of their selection but special mention must be given to the beer selection here. It seems that all of the beers that they have are from Asia - from memory they have - Chang & Singha (of course), Beer Lao, Beer Lao Dark, Philipinne San Miguel, Tiger and a few others.

I went for the Beer Lao Dark - it's a very dark brown beer that I've tried before on my travels - it packs a punch and is well worth a try - this is the first time I've seen it in HK.

Staff

The staff were very nice - all spoke English - I believe they were all Thai - I also saw them speaking to Chinese customers in Chinese too.

I'll certainly go back to Nana's - of course it's close to my home - but thought it was good value for money, well-appointed, food was nice and girls were lovely

咳,,,,回正題, 因為我唔太喜歡食spicy的嘢, 所以選擇了'雞肉炒泰國金邊粉', 好好味lo~~, 其實話唔辣就假, 有d lo, 仲有呢個金邊粉有d 甜甜地, 又帶有d 酸味味, 開胃之餘, 令我對泰國嘢改觀, 原來金邊粉可以咁煑既~ 另外, 仲送飲品, 例湯,仲有甜品, d甜品唔係話係街邊買嫁, 自己煮嫁! 今次係反薯糖水, 都好好味, 夠甜又夠辣, 飲的時候我笑左出來, 因為好有阿媽的味道
