這個 cheese platter 是比較 hea 啦吧😳。更有來自瑞士的芝士(右手邊如扇子一小片正是瑞士聞名遐邇的「和尚頭」(Tête de Moine) 呢 😨),是否有點不敬?小妹對用 Tête de Moine 於各國菜式上,絕對沒有問題,皆因每一種芝士氣味和口感獨特,可以用來配特定菜餚,錦上添花,如果餐後只吃芝士,除非很特別,小妹都會選擇地道的芝士,即是,吃義大利菜吃義大利芝士。而且 Tête de Moine 「一街都係」為何要在義大利餐廳吃?不如給小妹 Gorgonzola 吧 ☝🏽。

當然有例外的,譬如最近在東京 L’Osier,餐後的 cheese trolley 由 Cheese Master 精挑細選,除了法國芝士外,還有很多少見的日本芝士,那個情況,不但因為特別,而且那些日本芝士 imitate 法國芝士做法,相當襯托法蘭西氛圍,這個情況下,小妹會吃非法國芝士呢。

【 La Spinetta Bricco Quaglia Moscato d'Asti DOCG 2022 】好的 Moscato 小妹會當汽水飲的,前提不要過甜。La Spinetta 既 Quaglia 高質,甜度適中,很清新的梨子之香,有層次。

【 總結 】

今晚大部份菜式味道緊屬於「業餘」水準。Nicholini’s 如果是小酒館(trattoria),可以接受,但 Nicholini’s 是 ristorante ,小妹不會抱著吃一個 casual dinner 的期望的,尺度自然高得多,今晚食物的水準是不及格的。

整體服務一般,服務員都是按本子辦妥應有之事,沒有甚麼亮點,香港做餐飲業,尤其是高級餐廳,很多時餐廳定位與服務落差太大,餐飲業難處莫過於此。

小妹人生第一個情人節晚餐就在 Nicholini’s,感覺很好(可以心情關係 🤔),重來有所期望,今晚失望了。

在評價 Sabatini 的時候(賣賣廣告 😏 請參考小妹食評《白松露愛情三部曲之(二) 玫瑰之名》,2024 年 1 月 6 日),小妹引用引述意大利小說《玫瑰之名》(Il nome della rosa)  最終章主人公的話祝願 Sabatini IFC 新店能秉持舊店的食物水準,不要好似 IFC 的餐廳一樣,只賣外觀。

今晚吃 Nicholini’s 正合乎這句話 stat rosa pristina nomine, nomina nuda tenemus ,舊時的玫瑰只剩下名字,我們現今所有的不過徒具虛名而已。

Nicholini’s  徒具虛名,只有靚靚裝修,沒有內涵。


......【 後話 】

最近參加一個 private club 香檳晚餐,那裡不但食物味道令小妹驚艷,配搭的 Champagne 看得出是用盡心思,那一道菜,配合那一款(或者兩款)香檳,一吃便知,pairing 深思熟慮,配搭十分得宜,盡顯酒與食物之間那種「百年好合」的 mariage (這個是法文來的,沒有串錯字呢😌),而且比今晚價錢便宜,相比之下,是夜晚餐,似乎浪費了食物和酒。

我把「食評」改為「評論」,因為今次的平均放在服務、食物、性價比上。

Nicholini’s位於港麗酒店的意大利餐廳,半自助餐的形式。

大約一個月前預訂,因人數眾多,因此有了偏廳包房,這服務是比較貼心的。

不過在酒店大堂,泊車就有小插曲。職員不會主動幫忙,或詢問是否代客泊車,還有點點無禮對待,顯不出五星酒店的專業。

Brunch的定價為988元一位,如喝酒,可加200元一位(勝在不用全部人規限同一個plan)。

至於食物選擇都很多,分了前菜類,火腿芝士為主,我也都主攻24個月火腿;海鮮類,我覺得只有龍蝦比較出色;即煮意粉,麵底和汁都有很多配搭;刺身類,擺盤賣相極好;肉類,大多過份韌;酒吧,有即沖cocktails及mocktails。

Buffet大致上食物都中規中矩,不過選擇挺多,且主題一致,唯有二點比較失望。

一,餐廳在下午12時多沒有再refill ham,當1時我們問道,他說正準備做,但等到2時再問,他才說不會再添,那剛才不是在敷衍我們?雖然最後有額外給予我們一碟火腿,但這種自動自覺也沒有。

二,我們當中有一位朋友說蒜油意粉好吃,然後我們也相繼去意粉部點同一款,最後發現四碟都不同,產品肉眼可見參差不齊,且味道也明顯不同。還在烹調的過程中,因不太聽到廚師說的醬汁有什麼,想請他重複,他已黑臉,更有一次掉煎pan的情況,真的很不能理解這是酒店的應有態度。

到主菜部份,有不同的肉食,牛扒和豬扒都比較出眾,另外下和吞拿魚也不錯,且有蔬菜作為配搭。

反觀然而,甜品部分,他們是以platter方式呈現,把所有的甜品(椰子撻、草莓慕絲、巧克力蛋糕、焦糖燉蛋、新鮮水果),不過份量有點奇怪,因為十人行,又不是十人份,就是每款都有點,難免會有像今天的情況,就是每個人都想吃焦糖燉蛋,而他只有四碗,難道是每個人都四個用匙羹挖一下嗎?整個感覺不登大雅之堂,建議酒店用點餐的方法,就不會做到浪費,又每個人可以點自己喜歡的。

而提拉米蘇,則每人有一大羹,味道很好,是整個自助餐最好味的,最滿意的一道菜。

總括而言,雖花了一萬元,但感覺很cheap,食物普通都已不是我想挑剔的部份,是員工的服務不到位,也有幾次受到不禮的對待。

菜單設計也有點問題,譬如主菜會寫「只選一款」,但是甜品和前菜沒有此個條款,但實際上,只可以點一次,令人感到不解。

希望餐廳能接受我以上意見,並重點培訓員工。

The antipasti buffet was having great variety, including the cod fish, fried salmon & pork, beef stew, veggies, salads, mac n cheese and also seafood such as prawns, mussels and scallops, apart from the usual Parma ham, melons and etc. The tomato soup was nice and the Caesar salad was freshly mixed by the chef right in front of you. I love the crabmeat with mangoes the most. I got full after having the antipasti buffet before having the main.

The waiter was very experienced and caring and appeared right on time when we finished our plates and asked whether we wanted our mains at that time or would go for another round at the antipasti buffet.

We picked the angel hair with Boston lobster and the grilled spring chicken for the mains, which were both great. The chunks of lobster meat were well mixed with the pasta. It would be better if it’s also with lobster sauce rather than fresh tomato sauce.

The desserts were of huge portion as well. The vanilla panna cotta with strawberry foam had an interesting presentation. I thought it would be of a small cylindrical shape right in the middle of the plate with the strawberry foam on top, but it turned out to have this interesting look. The pointed tip was a strawberry standing upright inside covered by the foam.

Desserts came and it was beautifully presented. My favorite was definitely the Tiramisu, being rich with just the right amount of alcohol. Visited back in Sep when travel/ social restrictions were still in place, sadly only got 2 tables for the whole night (even with the promotions!)🥹 Staff are friendly but don’t seem to be well-trained in terms of their knowledge on the menu and wine. Food quality is good and at high CPs. Loving their lavish interior design and definitely recommend for any romantic date nights 👩‍❤️‍👨🕯️🙌🏼

但價錢一樣

第一次睇識呢個brunch係睇有啖好食
條片係2020年5月出
果時898一位已經覺得佢好L貴
之後再加左幾次價
今年三月book房果時見官網寫已經1088
但估唔到我地5月1日入住

法國菜懷歐敘
同埋酒吧寶絲吧三間餐廳合辦
時間係星期六日既十一點半至兩點半
坐邊可能同book檯都有關係
因為勞動節果日網上book唔到
所以就打左去意寧谷
結果我地都係坐番係意大利餐廳呢邊
仲有用餐前一個星期會要網上收取人頭一百蚊按金


本身我覺得港麗酒店舊舊地
以為佢地餐廳都係差唔多
但入到黎又覺得佢地環境都幾典雅

麵包是薄脆片及大香草包,上枱的樣子已很美。兩款麵包都好有水準,脆片又香又脆,香草包也熱辣辣的,香軟好味。因還有四度菜,只感淺嚐。😋😋😋

第一個前菜有南瓜忌廉湯及美國鮮牛肉片。這個南瓜湯混有檸檬及蕃茄乾,香甜中帶有少少酸,令味道有更多層次,不會只有甜味。而蟹肉很豐富,新鮮兼彈牙,令整個湯既好味又有口感。👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

第二個前菜是pasta,一個是帶子螺絲粉,而另一個是黑松露醬貓耳粉。兩個意粉我也喜歡,螺絲粉用青瓜加白酒忌廉汁,食落較清,而帶子很厚身,新鮮彈牙。而貓耳粉用了黑松露醬,極之香口,亦較濃味及膩。建議食時可先食螺絲粉然後貓耳,效果更佳。👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

主菜有兩個選擇,一個是煎鱈魚,而另一個是烤羊鞍。鱈魚睇相都知很厚身,新鮮彈牙,煎得啱啱好,皮脆肉滑。下面托有香草打成的汁,食落爽口,加埋車釐茄及椰菜花,完全是絕配,食不留口。😍😍😍

羊架是我的至愛之一 ,它煎得同樣啱啱好,它用芥辣及香草來烤,提升了羊獨有的香味。羊架厚身,啖啖肉,完全滿足了我的味蕾。配菜的烤矮瓜、菠菜及紅蘿蔔,正好平衡一吓肉的膩,Yummy Yummy!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

甜品是檸檬撻及Tiramisu ,檸檬撻上面有燒過的奶油,旁邊用果醬,靚。食落幼滑帶有少少檸檬香及酸,好味之餘,亦正好中和豐富的一餐。而Tiramisu 的芝士好香,酒味不過重,正合我口味。這兩個甜品為晚餐作了完美的句號。😍😍😍
