餃子算係我喜愛食物之一,感覺上較健康。今次試下呢間食評唔錯既餃子店。位處銅鑼灣與灣仔中間,唔算好就腳,附近反工就方便。門面同入面都幾新下,企理。午飯時間唔洗等位,坐位就迫左少少,同隔離果位都手肘碰住食飯,坐得並不舒適。點了…鮮肉冬菇香菜餃及煎京蔥羊肉餃鮮肉冬菇香菜餃,包得靚仔實淨,肉多但香菜冬菇份量唔夠多,而且菇香唔夠,但調味可以。如果香菜冬菇多一點的話會好少少。不過同民豐相比就差得遠啦…煎京蔥羊肉餃,都係多肉少菜,但係羊肉打得夠滑又夠油香,兼且半煎炸後餃子皮香脆可口,食到唔停得口。整體係多肉少菜,唔算太平均,而且餃子黎講,真係有D貴…!61蚊食左10隻餃,想再添食都唔敢,吾係要過100蚊落樓。

蒜泥白肉,這道經典的冷盤,差不多每次食上海菜都會叫,而這裡的做得也很有水準,豬肉比外邊厚了一點但勝在夠爽口,大量的蒜蓉切得很幼細,配合濃厚的醬汁,讓蒜香醬油味道能完全包裹著整塊白肉,食出蒜泥白肉的精髓。

茴香牛肉餃,通常牛肉都是配芫荽,外面比較少見這個配搭,餃子上枱同樣飽滿,一吃下去那獨特的茴香味夾雜牛肉的鮮味立時充滿味蕾,肉汁豐富四溢,讓人一試難忘,一隻接一隻的食下去。
兜兜轉轉,今次終於試到這間餃子店,雖不是光顧它的元祖正舖,但還是有高水準表現,難怪得到蔡先生的極力推介。

I saw this place many times and wanted to try their dumplings for a while. Finally today I went there and ordered 10 fried dumplings (around 50 HKD), sesame sauce noodles (ca. 36 HKD) and some spicy mixed cucumber (ca. 16 HKD). Eventhough it is a Saturday night I did not have to wait for a seat and it was not very busy. The food was served quick and I had a positive impression of the decoration and hygiene.

Food:
Spicy mixed cucumber was a small side dish and very yummy. It came with a lot of garlic and a very nice sauce and I enjoyed every bite of it. TBH it was not spicy to me at all but I do not feel disappointed. For me a must have for only around 16 HKD.

Sesame noodles with cucumber was not really my favourite... it was OK but the taste did not amaze me. Probably it would be nicer with some cold chicken shreds... Will not have this again but it was only around 36 HKD anyways.

Dumplings: I took 10 fried pork, chive and shrimp dumplings. They tasted nice and even better after I dipped them in soy sauce and chili sauce. I noticed that the fried dumpling wrapper tasted salty even before I dipped it in the soy sauce. I will come back for more. Costed around 50 HKD.

Recommendation:
It is a nice place to have a quick meal, especially when you are craving dumplings. I especially liked that these were self made dumplings and not some industrially produced mass ware that you get in other places.

Other Info. : They have a take away menu and lunch sets. The menu is strongly focussed on northern Chinese (Shandong) style food.

Northern Dumpling Yuan serves Northern Chinese cuisine. Menu is in both English and Chinese. Usually I only come here for dumplings but as I came with boyfriend, we ordered more than that.

Cold Potato Shreds ($23). This plate was exactly as advertised. Cold potato shredded to have the taste and texture of noodles. This is great if you're a potato lover. But I don't really like potatoes so this was pass for me. Boyfriend loved it as he loves potatoes and downed it happily.

最後當然是輪到吃店裡主打的餃子,原來店子最近都推出咗唔少新口味,就一於揀幾款來一齊分享。由於大家都愛吃香口炸物,所以決定只點一客蒸餃,留番胃納多試幾款煎餃。先端上來的這款是京蔥羊肉水餃 ($26/5pcs),餃子外形頗大,而且內裡餡料非常之豐富,除了京蔥和分量勁多的羊肉外,還放進了芫荽,樣子飽滿。咬開外層柔韌卻又不會過硬的餃皮,羊肉入口鮮香而帶微羶,配上辛香的京蔥,嚼起來汁液豐盈,甘香可口,完全沒絲毫膩滯感,連平日不大嗜羊的筆者,也不得不說句,真心好吃。

海蜇是我喜歡的食物, 其實它是可供食用的水母種類, 還記得小時候老爸亦嘗試自親試整, 但味道就…..不提吧! 還是試試這裏的涼拌海蜇 ($39)。條條海蜇 厚度相若, 口感爽彈, 拌入份量剛好的辣油 調味, 還灑上甘香的芝麻, 惹味可口, 不禁令我一添加添。

友人覺得冬菇汁相當美味, 故要點一碗菜飯 ($23/大碗)把其吃清。雖然個人很喜歡吃蔬菜, 但一向都有點怕吃菜飯, 因為平時所吃的上海菜飯往往加入不少油煮成, 令人吃得飽滯, 但這裏的菜飯卻完全不同, 沒有加入大量的油份, 米飯 粒粒分明, 既有飯香亦有清菜香, 所混入的菜段 翠綠而清爽, 吃得健康, 完全合我口味。

看見那麼多的辣椒醬還擔心會吃得火辣, 但經一撈後, 原來並非如此。味道帶點胡麻香, 亦有點香辣, 但胡麻味不算突出, 若然多點則更理想。粉皮 片片晶瑩剔透, 滑身Q彈, 但個人認為有點硬身。

脹卜卜餃子果然是店子的招牌菜, 隻隻皮薄饀靚, 每咬一口均是啖啖鮮味的饀料, 如牌匾所提的字一樣「山東水餃北京味 皮薄肉嫩饀兒鮮」, 真的令人回味。數數看, 店子共有十二款口味的餃子, 款款配搭各具特色, 看來要到訪多幾次才可試齊。

昨晚喺銅鑼灣唔知食乜好,於是就上openrice睇吓,見呢間北方餃子D食評好,所以就去試吓豆沙窩餅好好食,唔會太甜,豆沙份量啱啱好 牛肉麵麵質彈牙,湯底一流,牛好香口,差啲連湯都飲埋九菜餃係必食嘅,肉夠鮮,九菜味加埋,簡直一流之作見隔離枱食完一碗又一碗嘅湯丸,都忍唔住要試吓,果然好味,薑汁好濃,湯丸煙un,湯底飲晒 雲耳好好味,爽口雪菜肉絲米線,清清哋幾好味 呢個唔知咩名堂,但都好好食,好爽脆食到成枱嘢
