Recently visited Peek-A-Poke located in Hysan Place, Causeway Bay, and it was an amazing experience. I went with my friend and we ordered two "Build Ya Own Bowl" and two drinks. The first bowl we ordered was the Salmon with sushi rice and brown rice (half-half), topped with tofu, cucumber, egg shreds, avocado, and salmon roe. The seasoning was perfect with a mix of nori, sesame seed, bonito, sea salts, nuts, chili flakes, and crispy garlic. The nutty sesame sauce (nutty buddy) was incredibly del

The seasoning was perfect with a mix of nori, sesame seed, bonito, sea salts, nuts, chili flakes, and crispy garlic. The nutty sesame sauce (nutty buddy) was incredibly delicious!
The second bowl we ordered was the octopus with sushi rice, edamame, pickled radish, and tobiko. The seasoning was the same as the first bowl, but the sauce was a soy sauce-based sauce that complemented the bonito perfectly (dashi shoyu).
We also tried two of their drinks: the refreshing and perfectly balanced Lemon Ginger Honey and the creamy and flavorful Avocado Smoothie. The Lemon Ginger was refreshing and had a nice balance of sweetness and tartness.
Overall, Peek-A-Poke is an excellent spot for poke bowls. Don't forget to try their drinks! Also, if you're health-conscious or have specific dietary restrictions, Peek-A-Poke offers gluten-free, high-protein, and low-calorie options, which is a great added bonus.
