Overlooking Victoria Harbour and the HK Island skyline, the spice-heavy Chinese restaurant brings a table of creative dishes to celebrate the start of 2021 and the opening of their latest flagship store! I absolutely loved the new 辣辣香鍋 (spicy pot) which allows you to pick FIVE ingredients from a range of seafood, meat and veggies. I picked crawfish, baby octopus, pork belly, okra and beef and it was the most satisfying dish ever because I got to eat everything I love in a giant dish! I also love how the ingredients are covered with the spicy sauce, very succulent! Their innovative ice slushies really took me by surprise. They've turned the traditional hotpot essential, 竹蔗茅根 & 薏米水 (cooling medicinal drinks), into ice slushies presented in a cute chili glass. Even though they are filled with ice, I love how the flavors are still retained. The walnut buns were very pretty to look at and nice to eat as it had mildly sweet walnuts in the center.
The numbing spicy bak kut teh was quite a unique experience with the flavors of the spices mixing with that signature medicine taste.
If you’re into contemporary Sichuan style Chinese food, this is the place for you. The ocean view is the cherry on the top
